    They look awesome, really good to see you go above the basics like most people.

    With the second guy, I think the reason why his coat of arm has a cross through his coat of arms is to make it look different. The way coats of arms worked back in the day (and how it still works) is you had to make a chance to make the coat of arms your own. This change could be a massive one or it could be as simple as putting a cross through one quarter.

      It could be. I think some of them also adopted more , especially the Scottish, as they became allies with the French. Adding Fleur-de-lys as they gained lordship over French fiefs. In the case of Stewarts, there was two of them in France with very similar coats of arms... I often confuse the two ;)

    Really nice work on the heraldry here. Do you paint the body, and then attach the arms, or full assembly, and then an agile brush? Do please keep up on this project, it's been a good one to follow.

      Thank you! I build everything first. Usually I paint shields separate unless they’re bucklers. So the heraldry is done when the minis are fully assembled and I have to work around arms and the like. I just find it better this way so I don’t screw up with glue and I can also use green stuff to patch up arms and weapons etc before I prime it all. I’ll keep updating it! I’m doing more cavalry next. ;) thanks for watching

    That's some crazy levels of freehand. Do you use micron pens or are you just insanely steady handed.

    • @carthagemustbedestroyed
      @carthagemustbedestroyed  Рік тому

      I didn’t use micro pens for these ones. I used a size 0000 brush lol. Very very small.
