I'm just beginning a WOR/100yw project in 15mm using Minifigs. Looking for rule set that allows for bigger games. Trying to do better planning up front to avoid mistakes. Thanks for the video which gave me a number of ideas. The red and white flowers idea to differentiate Yorkist from Lancastrians is brilliant and while the nobles switched sides often, the way you base would allow most of your stands to attach to commands demarcated by banners. As a Yank I've been nervous about figuring out painting correct uniforms, but your comment about no one really knowing what these were puts my mind to rest. Thank you again for this excellent presentation of your work.
Thanks for your kind words Malcolm, glad it has helped formulate your plans. Dont be nervous paint them as you like, there are plenty of uniform guides but generic colours gives you flexibility :)
great looking force there, good basing such as this really ties a project together. To be honest I almost consider really high level painting to be a seperate hobby at times, you've produced a very good gaming force there.
Hi Andy good to hear from you. Thanks for your comments, glad you like them...its been a long project but i am happy overall. Nice to get them finally on the table for a game. We must organise one in the New Year when you have some time available? All the best
Really interesting video. Troops look great, although too big for me! All mine are 15mm, based for Bloody Barons. Will see about adapting them to Billhooks. Is the Nevsky box on your bookshelf a board game? That period is another of my big interests! Thanks for posting, Howard
Hi Howard, thanks for watching and your kind words :)...i am a smaller scale wargamer myself..this is a larger scale for me too....billhooks is a great game though! Good spot re my boardgame its nevsky by gmt...a beauty and one i must get to the table soon...never enough time
