I was excited to see there was a video for this until I watched it. The point of a video to me is to see things you can't see in still photos, this video added no context, no details, and no info that we could not get just by looking at the ad on Amazon. In fact, the Amazon images were more helpful. I would love to have seen a proper step-by-step video of the installation, a walk though of the features, and then a demo of it in operation. That said, it looks like a pretty cool product. I wish it had a rear video mirror (backup cam) as the backup cam in these cars is terrible.
No matter which model I enter, it is the same pic. Get with the program and show each model individually. This video does not show a 991.1 installation.
When screwing the rear view mirror back in a counterclockwise position, it clicks in and holds but if i apply downward force to the top it will fall off. Did I break the clip or something or am I just connecting it back wrong. It seems like all the prongs are still fine as they are hard metal...... Please help!
One more thing. If you choose the hardwire option and/or rear camera, you will have almost NO space to route the wires thru. Putting the Fitcamx piece and the middle piece back is brutal. You have to sort of put them both up simultaneously while manoeuvring the two wires up and out of the assembly. Don’t force it-else plastic will break.
How about a more detailed video that talks through the steps with clear annotations and guides. This short fast video with annoying music instead of helpful commentary and not showing all the detail makes it look far easier than it is, and is very frustrating. My Taycan assembly looks different to this - not a very good instructional video

Hello, thank you for your feedback. If you need any assistance, please contact us at support@fitcamx.com. thank you!
This is indeed the proper way for the 992. The mirror has to be twisted off since the plastic cover piece has some tabs that will otherwise break.
👍🤣😘
Any videos for 991.2 models?
Please go to our official website_fitcamx.com for consultion :)

Hello, if you encounter difficulties during installation, you can take a photo and send it to us info@fitcamx.com
When you say "New" in the title, what years does this apply to?
It's suppport 2018-2024.
This is definitely older than the 2023 model and does not apply.
Do you have a “newer” installation video that pertains to 2023-2024 Cayennes?
