Jewellery Bag Therapy. Just the antidote for one very bored Kiwi. Too many days of rain. I have no idea what has happened to our summer! My fav was that red necklace that looked like carnelian. That hallmark bunny!! I had that way back when they came out. Too cool!and that cross with the multi-colored stones, I had one just like it, but it was lost in a house fire. It is just as beautiful as I remember it being.

Hi Thelma,beautiful jewelery bag;the pieces of glass may be knives holder("porte couteaux" in french );here ,whe put them near the plates and so the knives blades don't stain the party tablecloth (mines are in Baccarat cristal and i use them for Christmas meal)

I wish I had known the the value of the jewelry I bought from goodwills when I use to buy their jars I wouldn’t have thrown away stuff I found ugly but didn’t realized what I was doing. Like bakealight i think it’s called, but now I know better and am trying to sell some of the stuff, I learn a lot from your videos thank you.

Some really wonderful finds. I wonder if the glass pieces you found would fit in that one you found you said would be good for resin. Sometimes single earrings can be repurposed and made into pendants. Stay safe and warm hugs.

When I have really nice earrings and there's only one I use them either to put as a pin cuz you can put the thing on the back you know to Anchor it to like a collar of a Blazer or is it for a hat decoration I wear a lot of hats

I would double check the earrings. The one broken and not broken at 36:25. Look up Ruby rock, it might be that or it could be Goodletite which is very expensive! It is from New Zealand. This stone is only found in one place!

The jade slate necklace looks like it had something on the middle piece. Like attached with the 5 holes maybe.

The long glass pieces are cabochons. And the oval metal pieces are bezels. Yes you could place a photo or picture in the bezel and use mod modge or glue a cabochon on top of them. The piece I think you said was a impressionist piece was a piece using the cabochon and bezel you already found in the jar and it has an acrylic paint pour skin under the cab. That is what I do with them. The pink pendent appears do be a paint pour skin under the cab.

What did you learn to clean Brighton?? I have so many pieces I never wear anymore because they are just so tarnished. Such a shame as they were beautiful when I got them and definitely not cheap.

My locations don't have much for treasures, anything of any value gets removed or the clerk is head to toe with jewels. Any sterling or gold gets put in the display case for pretty much retail prices. I stopped being a sucka for these jars after pulling out Mardi gras beads, bandaids, napkin rings, teeth, bottle caps,screws barrettes and press on nails.

I have a question for you and your viewers. I'm in Texas, and a lot of people pronounce bakelite "bake-lite"...but I've noticed several people online that pronounce it "bake-a-lite". Does anyone know the original pronunciation? It was developed by a man from Germany whose name is spelled similarly to bakelite, but it doesn't look like his name would be pronounced either way.
