Make sure you turn off the auto snapping (the magnet icon) if you are doing this in 17. I was getting so frustrated wondering why the mask wouldnt curve to what I wanted until I turned that off and it worked.

I know this is old, but just so you're aware, uncompressed isn't the only way alpha channel will work. UTVideo has an RGBA version of the codec. This also renders your alpha channel at slightly lower filesize than uncompressed would.

@@sylentlol9741 -Holding control on your keyboard while using the anchor creation tool to adjust 1 point
-to adjust the entire mask dubble click on the mask while having your normal edit tool active.

What svp version is better in terms of performance ? i got the svp18 but it gets really laggy when i add some effects

Just a question, if i put a point in the middle of the line, instead of giving me a smooth round it just goes straight. Are there some settings that i can use for resolve this problem?

After you put the point in the middle, click the same point again to create an anchor point, and then hold down CTRL, click the point, and drag it out, and it should be curved. If you watch at 1:06, you'll see I clicked the same point twice to convert it to a curved anchor.
