Iran clearly gave a heads up to us just the way they did when they hit our Iraq military base. They knew we would share it with Israel; they did this bc they wanted to limit casualties yet show they have the military capability to coordinate large scale attacks if they have too. They knew most of the cheap drones and low yield rockets would be intercepted but yet show that they can launch large scale operations. Iran hoped this would display what they could potentially do with the hopes it wouldn’t cause an escalation. The problem maybe is that Israel May interpret this as Iran being weak and make them believe they can conduct large scale military strikes on targets in Iran…. If Iran really wanted to hit Israel hard they wouldn’t have sent a swarm of slow moving drones that would take hours to even get to Israeli territory and have to cross over numerous US military installations. They would have instead fired large quantities of ballistic missiles that could potentially get to Israel in a matter of minutes; plus they would have had Yemen, Hezbollah and Hamas fire even more rockets that could reach Israeli territory very quickly in order to force the IDF to expend large quantities of missiles from the iron dome which would increase the likelihood of the Iranian rockets hitting their targets….
I believe they really thought this out well with a 3 stage attack. First they sent a hundred slow moving drones to keep US and British fighters occupied and to distract and deplete resources. Then they sent higher grade ballistic missiles into less civilian populated areas, to test the defense system and keep them distracted. Then they released their more accurate ballistic missiles at the most important targets like the Nevatim IAF base and apparently 6 missiles did get through Israel’s defense system, which showed Israel and the US what they are capable of.

And that makes it a simple war of attrition. Irans goal is simple, keep launching attacks until Isreal runs out of missile defenses then strike at isreals heart.
Israel meanwhile is fighting a war against time. They know that eventually they will run out of defenses. Especially since so many have been expended in defense of ukraine. That means they have to strike at the heart of iran AND its proxies hard enough to knock them out of the fight.
The unkowns of course is how many interceptors isreal has stockpiled and how many interceptors its allies can supply. How many drones and missiles iran can launch and how fast they can be built.

The best thing for people who are like me, considered below the poverty level is to purchase food that can be stored, buy seeds, potatoe starts, onions, garlic, etc....and guns and ammo to protect where you bug out to.
