While the majority of us are worse off now and can’t even use the train as a means of affordable transport anymore. I think the source(s) of their wealth might also be an interesting true crime case.

This is what I hate about the SA justice system, it can feel so luck based, people being found guilty or not guilty based on luck. Your the last person in the room with the deceased, you heat up the room to cover your tracks, take their phone and pretend to be them, but gets acquitted. It's hard to trust the justice system.
There was never conclusive medical evidence confirming the cause of death, so the state relied heavily on circumstantial evidence that he had suffocated. They were so suppose to prove beyond doubt..Yes the law failed here but at the same time it worked..its the nitty griity stuff that can be the end of you or be free.
