Got to open for Webb twice in my life..once when he was touring the 'It came from Nashville' album and years later with a different band..nice fella..love his music!!
surprise... Webb has been rockin for years., used to go see him at the old 9:30 Club at 930 F St in DC way back in the 80's.. they fuckin rocked the place out!! It Came From Nashville (Devil's Right Hand by Steve Earle) was my intro to the last of the full grown men..
lol... I laugh every time I read this comment! I've been onto webb since the 80's when he recorded the Devil's Right Hand & Jerry Douglas played on some of his cuts on Hybrid Vigor(I believe it was).. my God I love these guys!
@@KeefsCattys Was a big event for us carrot-crunchers to go up to the Smoke back in the day. Also saw Dan Baird up in Glasgow about 10 years ago. He hadnt changed a bit.
Have seen Webb a few times and always looking for a way to catch a show. The albums are great but can't catch the energy if his live shows. He is a true American treasure, great performer, writer and showman.... "Work hard, rock hard, eat hard, sleep hard, grow big, wear glasses if you need 'em!"
Webb is the man! Bob Williams can flat out play guitar. Looks like Jimmy is missing on the drums. Tom is holding the bass beat. Nice. Thanks for the post!
Great live show!!saw him back in 88 with Cletus and the twangler. If you can watch the short film "Webb Wilder Private Eye" that's how I discovered him.
Thank you very much for sharing this great concert. Here is the track list. I hope I didn't make any mistakes. 1. Big Time 2. Human Cannonball 3. The Only One (McMurry John Webb / Prophet Chuck) 4. She's Not Romantic 5. Tough It Out 6. Stay Out Of Automobiles (Jerry "Boogie" McCain) 7. No Great Shakes (Jerry "Boogie" McCain) 8. Honky Tonkin’ (in Mississippi) (Jimmy Swan) 9. Slow Death (Flamin’ Groovies) 10. Baby Please Don’t Go (Big Joe Williams) Could someone please tell me the drummer's name?

Webb Wilder is possibly one of the truest representatives of pure American music in our world today. If you've ever seen him live, you'll agree.
Got to open for Webb twice in my life..once when he was touring the 'It came from Nashville' album and years later with a different band..nice fella..love his music!!

Work hard, rock hard, eat hard, sleep hard, grow big, wear glasses if you need 'em. - The Webb Wilder Credo A true renaissance man. Go forth and ROCK!
This is TOO cool! Absolutely awesome-- great fidelity and thankfully enough of an actual show to see what a slammin performer Webb is.
Thank you!
Great! I saw Webb opening for the Georgia Satellites here in the UK 22 years ago and have been a fan ever since!
Nells Jazz & Blues London - Wed 11 Oct 2017 - be there

Everytime I see Webb Wilder it leaves me wanting more - Great performers!!!
Webb does a GREAT show, writes great tunes, and this video captures his work nicely. Thanks to hippiejacks.
"It Came from Nashville" was a groundbreaking album.
I miss R.S. Field's songwriting from somewhere beneath Ruby Falls.
The Last of the Full Grown Men....I've been a fan since seeing him support the Georgia Satellites in London way back in 198?....

Ditto, saw him in Seattle twice in the 90's. His backup guys were a lot nicer and down to earth than Webb was.
It takes a hippy to post something like this. If you don't know Webb, you don't know Jack.
JACK, thanks for posting this! As I live very far away, I will probably never get to attend one of your festivals but this is the next best thing.

have the ''tough it out'' dvd. love it ,but it's a little sedate. this pushes the distortion more to my liking. excellent.
Anybody know the song/artist of that little snip on the end credits?
