Thankfully People like you exist. As a Lucca citizen i thank you, and i apologize for the population which makes comments and doesn't understand the effort that you put in the video! Great, great stuff!
I love the bike tours, they are perfect for my stationary biking. Love the other videos too but they’re for when I’m sitting. I don’t notice the time passing when I’m cycling, thank you so much for these. 😊
Hey, I'm glad to hear it. I filmed a bike tour of the beaches in Rio, but the sky was all gray and overcast. I might post it. I wish it would have been blue Sky.
Many thanks for your huge effort to show us the flavour of Lucca. The core of the city devoid of cars. How very nice. Your Drone view showed it like a medieval walled city. Unique?!
Yeah, I bought one here in Naples and took it with me everywhere I went last summer. Lucca was a great place to walk or ride a bike. It is close to the train station to so it's an easy visit from Pisa.
Lucca at dusk. Maybe Lecce could give it a run for its money. Yes, the Eternal City is like no other - but overrun. Florence has become a big City that too often is downgraded by all the tourists. But, Lucca is a real city where locals can still live with that real Tuscan flavor. Why wait in long lines in Florence when the jewel of Lucca is a quick train ride away?
Yeah, this was my first time visiting Lucca. I would definitely like to go back with my family sometime and explore it a bit more. The train station is right next to the wall so it is definitely an easy city to visit.
Was that u i s did see riding crazy bike in Luca.. Hehehe i was there at same tìme but just for a day from Florence..funny I was walking trough the town & listening to Geminiani on my earphones suddenly surprised I'm in front of his monument. I checked web & yes he was born in Lucca i was laughing & turned around there is guy getting out of building so happily i said the coincidence story to him & now he was smiling & telling me he's the Violin teacher & loves Geminiani.. Hehehe crazy
Made for a very pleasant half hour's exercise on my stationary bike. More bike rides please; you lose track of the time enjoying the ride and the town instead of watching the clock. :-)
Must add, as soon as I saw the oval piazza, I thought to myself "Roman ere amphitheatre" and I was right. A quick check and it's the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro. Fascinating town.
I prefer it when you walk because you can take in more and the bike sometimes bounces up and down ,it ruins it for me on 4k t.v.i noticed on another bike video sometimes youtubes video processing distorts the ground where it cant build the picture fast enough as your going faster than walking.sorry for the negativity everyone.👍
A walking tour allows one to see the shops, restaurants and sites at a much more leisurely pace. It is a much more personal experience. Not a big fan of the bicycle/drone stuff
It's so quiet now since the banning of scooters and cars from the interior, it used to be a constant howl of 2 stroke Vespa engines by hundreds of teenagers running around
I thumb down this one. What joy do you (eg myself as a viewer) or any other fellow being experiences a tornado rushing through narrow streets. The grown up person with grey hair in red t-shirt at 3:57 was yelling at you! Didn't you notice?
I wouldn't describe it as a tornado. I went about as slow as I possibly could. Was I supposed to stop and talk with that guy? Yes, I noticed...and I kept riding.
@@ProWalks I love the bike rides, especially on my exercise bike at home in front of the big TV. I do about ten rides repeatedly and most of them are yours. You do them very well, and I think they compliment the walks very well, too, and I look forward to the new ones and re-riding the old ones!
@nebbs1 Hey, glad you enjoyed this one. I am still trying to look what looks good on the screen. Riding through narrow streets at just more than a walking pace, it looks like I'm going fast but I'd to go as slow as I could. I was using a Hero 7 and a Hero 8 in this ride. I just filmed a ride of the Appian Way last weekend using two Gopro Hero 8 cameras and it is definitely my best bike ride yet. I think you'll enjoy it.
lol..yeah..I definitely should have filmed an evening walk instead of an evening bike ride..and I knew it at the time, but my gear I needed to film a walk was back at my Airbnb which was a 15 minute walk away, so I just continued with my bike ride.
No. Stop. Aside from the fact that I feel slightly sick, this seems like a dangerous and rather offensive thing to do when the streets are busy. You are also failing to show how beautiful Lucca is. Stick to walking, please.
I cycled around and through Luca some years ago...I will never forget this experience or the people I met there...TY

I loved it!
Quante succhi I picelli?
Many thanks for your huge effort to show us the flavour of Lucca. The core of the city devoid of cars. How very nice. Your Drone view showed it like a medieval walled city. Unique?!
Yeah, it is a pretty unique place for sure. I was surprised to see just how big the wall was when I got there. I was pretty impressed.
wonderful shots, I really like it. I wish you a nice day and best regards from Austria 😀👍
I cycle Southern Utah desert canyons here in the USA. In Europe you have narrow streets like slot canyons. Fun hiking and riding.
Your videos are so peaceful and relaxing great look into what really makes these places special 🤍
Lucca, correggo!
Lucca, avrei dovuto scrivere, scusatemi.
Thank you for the beautiful cycletour. Have a nice day. Best wishes from Germany.

Meraviglia incantevole favoloso
Awesome ride. Now I want to go to Lucca. So many cities, so little time. Were you on an e-bike?
Yeah, I bought one here in Naples and took it with me everywhere I went last summer. Lucca was a great place to walk or ride a bike. It is close to the train station to so it's an easy visit from Pisa.

Try slowing down the bike, especially in the downtown areas where there are pedestrians only. Otherwise a great tour.
Wow
Com’è bella l’Italia.
Good better best
top!
Grazie!
CİTTÁ MOLTO BELLA AMORE MİO İTALİA ❤

Look how peaceful it seems to be rather here in the states……
The historic centers usually are, but outside the old walls, its a regular city with noisy cars.
3:00 casa del Maestro Giacomo Puccini!
ci tornerò
It's so quiet now since the banning of scooters and cars from the interior, it used to be a constant howl of 2 stroke Vespa engines by hundreds of teenagers running around
Eh una antica citta I m live in this city 7 years now in Germany but I miss always lucca my life
The moment I see a pretty girl coming close to the camera, this guy makes a sharp turn. lol
You’re going way to fast to be polite to the walkers. Kind of rude. Slow it down.
India
Hell no
Are you blind?

I slowed the playback to 50%, muted and listened to Puccini and Vivaldi. Much calmer and you have time to look around.
