@@lexecomplexe4083 Don't listen to a lot of music (something I'd like to change), and I tend to stick to listening to the same songs instead of trying to find new ones when I do. Not everyone spends all day trying to find new songs to listen to.
As a genrebender I can def agree it be like this As long as the sets flow and have intention it can go really well and take you on a whirlwind of emotions and flashbacks
I get that logic but keep in mind that makes for a very uninteresting music identity. You can never say who or what you like and can never be passionate for any music
@@citizenofthebikinibottom5617 True, but I think that's perfectly ok. Not everyone is passionate about the same things and investing in stuff you're not passionate about is a waste of effort. Investing in a deeper understanding of a genre of music only matters if you are either genuinely passionate about that genre, want to make music of that genre yourself, or wish to talk to other people with that same genre investment. I believe investment without genuine passion will only create people who use the enjoyment of music as a disguise, who have no opinions of their own, and who only take on those that bring the most prestige. This gets even worse when they start attaching their value as a person to their opinions. It's how you get people that become belligerent if you even appear to have an opinion opposite to their own, and I doubt anyone enjoys any sort of conversation with them even if they have the most intricate knowledge of their given genre. (This isn't to say that people with genuine passion won't also act like this, I just think that having no passion will fast-track them into being annoying) *TL;DR*: Investment that springs from passion is good. Investment that springs from a desire to fit an Identity/Group is bad.
Most people find things beautiful that they think the world needs more of. People like this just want more music in the world and I think that is beautiful :)

stupidest thing ive heard all week ;DDDDDD! listening to a plethora of genres means you appreciate good art and respect the culture! While my knowledge in Jazz isn't as deep as mine in Hip-hop, it's still marianas trench compared to people who aren't that much into music, but exlucisely listen to Jazz :)@@veduci22

Music is so wonderful, how can one not listen to it in its many forms?!
The Sunn O))) shirt is *chef's kiss*
you might have uploaded it as a joke, but I did enjoy pretty much every genre that was shown^^
love how different music can be and learnt to appreciate more and more genres over the years.
Same. Good music is good music. Good way of making friendships too
(Yk except music that is just talking about sex)

You better pick a good song for noise and harsh noise

Shostakovich is such a fun choice for the orchestral. You could have gone with like something Beethoven or Bach or Mozart or something everyone knows from the 1800's, but you grabbed a modern waltz you are amazing thank you.
Exactly shostakovich is the best
Jesus loves yall and died for us! Jesus calls for all of us to repent!!!! ! !
I love the shostakovich waltz no3
most of the choices signal that the author of the video knew what they were doing
And yet it's still highly unoriginal
I love that he could be listening to literally anything just because the majority if not all songs follow a tempo his headbanging falls under.
People whose whole emotional system works depending on music they listen to, listen to every genre and enjoy it, myself included, I enjoyed every single song in this video and see my self changing moods every couple of seconds and might even comeback to some that were mentioned here
Bro exactly, it almost feels like a cheat code, i can easily maneuver my emotions the way i need them just by listening to different kinds of music.

I get that logic but keep in mind that makes for a very uninteresting music identity. You can never say who or what you like and can never be passionate for any music
@@citizenofthebikinibottom5617 the music i listen to is not me. it's a thing i enjoy.
(This isn't to say that people with genuine passion won't also act like this, I just think that having no passion will fast-track them into being annoying)
*TL;DR*: Investment that springs from passion is good. Investment that springs from a desire to fit an Identity/Group is bad.
@@citizenofthebikinibottom5617 What the fuck did you just comment bro 💀

There's a huge lack of metal that's yet to be found in this set.
I just clicked the video to check if there’s also metal xD
metal is not music confirmed@@sofietje1055
So it's accurate to people claiming they listen to all genres.
She-wolf is metal I'd say, what I lack more here is non-European folk and noise. Also jazz and some avant-garde.
