  • Financial asset bubbles start and end with interest rates. Everybody wants lower interest rates but at some point in time, the credit bubble will pop, artificial rates will go, and things will revert.

    The emphasis on having a clear exit strategy is crucial, especially after experiencing the volatility of previous bull and bear markets. It’s refreshing to see the focus on setting realistic goals and understanding the why behind profit-taking. This approach not only prepares you for unexpected market shifts but also keeps you grounded during the emotional rollercoaster of trading. It’s a valuable reminder that crypto investing should ultimately serve our personal aspirations, rather than just becoming a game of chasing numbers. I have managed to grow a nest egg of around $200k to a decent 7 figures in the space of a few months...Thanks to Laura Brockman insights, daily trade signals, and my dedication to learning, I've been increasing my daily earnings. Kudos to the journey ahead!

    We’ve had a decade of ultra low rates, and now it seems like the bubble is ready to burst. Cheap credit has driven up asset prices to unsustainable levels. At some point, reality has to set in. People forget that asset bubbles usually start and end with interest rates

    • @John-vf8qe
      @John-vf8qe 5 днів тому

      Yeah, and the problem is that people have gotten so used to borrowing cheap money that they’ve built entire investment strategies around it. Real estate, stocks, even corporate debt markets are all inflated because of this low-rate environment. If rates keep going up or just stabilize at these higher levels, it’s going to pop a lot of bubbles

    • @DianaTownsend-kj5kj
      @DianaTownsend-kj5kj 5 днів тому

      it’s almost like a game of musical chairs. As long as the music’s playing, everything’s fine. But once it stops when those low rates are no longer possible, we’ll see who’s been overexposed. We’ve been living in this artificial environment where money is cheap, and that’s created distortions in asset prices across the board

    • @cherylhills3227
      @cherylhills3227 5 днів тому

      Right, and there’s only so much central banks can do. They can’t keep rates artificially low forever, or we end up with inflation, which is already starting to creep up. But if they raise rates too fast, it could trigger a financial crisis. It’s a delicate balance, and I don’t think many investors are prepared for what happens when the credit bubble bursts

      That’s exactly why I think working with a finance advisor is so critical right now. I’ve been managing my own investments for years, but I realized I was in way over my head with all these macroeconomic shifts. Last year, I decided to hire a finance advisor, and honestly, it was the best decision I made. My portfolio has gone up exponentially

    I am really worried about the current crisis/interest rates, these are all the signs of yet another 2008 market crash 2.0 , so my question is do I still save in the United States dollar or is this a good time to buy gold?

      It’s always a good option to keep some gold. Well with the current market situation and everything at stake with the present economy, I’d say you’re better off staying away from stocks fr awhile or better still reach out to an adviser for guidance.

      A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

    As far as interest rates go, population aging is pushing them down (since old people consume less) while labour shortages and immigration concerns are pusing them up. Hence they will probably stay within a fairly narrow range. However, most of the money in bonds and equities over the last half century have been due to steadily falling interest rates. Hence, making money is likely to get tougher and more complicated.

    Hey Sven, thanks for the video, great content as always. There is a container shipping company based in Oslo, named MPC Container Ships. I think it’s a great company (growing in quality, gaining market position, amazing management and fleet rotation model freeing up free cash flow as well as a somewhat consistent dividend strategy). The company seems cheap and,even though shipping market is a cyclical one and I rhink it stand at high levels of the cycle, I would love a video of your opinion/analysis of this company.

    I see the rising interest rate as a very big problem, as more investors will definitely pull out more money from the Stock market. This might have worked when I was still invest-ing with a couple thousand dollars, but it is more difficult now to decide whether to pull out more than $365k from my port-folio. I know some inves-tors still make that despite the strong bear market. In wish I could pull that feat

Measure in honest money, gold, and realize Dow was 18 ounces in 1929 and still is in 2024. Houses peaked in 1970 at 1,000 ounces of gold, now 210 ounces of gold. Stocks are down 64% from AD 2,000 measured in honest gold ounces. Down from 42 ounces to 15 ounces for the Dow. IOUs are not money. Money has value. IOUs are speculation. Price. Debt is not money.
