@@paulbarnett5837 for sure, the extra power advantage of the V12 needs to be greater then the disadvantages like more weight, length, fuel, cooling etc. Renault prooved that the V10 was the best compromise package in 1991-1994. I tend to agree that a V12 was too much asked for smaller teams like Dallara, Minardi etc, everything is more difficult to make it work.

Martini was much underrated.
He would have been great in a top line car.
The golden years of F1. Great cars and great sounds. Martini came close to a Ferrari seat once.. but that's also the story of so many others 😅.
