I burst into tears when your daughter hung up her advent tree and snowflakes!
Ahh!! It was a lovely and yet kinda sad moment for sure. It’s nice that she likes to keep up our traditions though. ☺️

Your doggie pillows are adorable! I love changing my cups and mugs out each season and enjoying them! I made homemade Hot Chocolate and Friendship Tea. Have some of the Friendship Tea in festive jars for friends and family. My mom always made both of these when I was growing up! Carrying on the tradition!🤶 May you have a blessed time with your daughter on her holidays! I have 3 daughters and so enjoy seeing them and my son in laws, grandchildren, great grandchildren and my mom, brother, and sister and her family! My husband has been gone 11 years Dec 23rd to suicide and my father passed a year ago February with covid. Although it is a sad time for me in some ways, my family makes it fun! I am thankful for memories! I made my girls sewn advents when they were little. I should make one to hang for me also! Yours are beautiful. I am so thankful to be able to celebrate Jesus birth and love putting out nativity scenes. My mantle is pastel houses, trees, and little manger scenes this year. I love it! Have always used traditional colors!

This is my Most Favorite time of the year! It’s because I LOVE LOVD LOVE seeing family members that live far away. We used to live within minutes of each other until we lost my dad. I enjoy decorating but hate putting everything away. Every home is so uniquely and beautifully decorated. I wish it was something we could do year around!❤️❤️❤️

Oh my lovely, it is such a shift isn’t it? Not sure I’m 100% used to it yet but I guess it will get easier over time. It’s so nice to see how she wants to keep all our Christmas traditions going and I’m so glad she’ll be back very soon! ☺️🎄✨

Oh Sandra, that was lovely. You hit Day 1 of Vlogmas 2023 right out of the ballpark. Is your daughter able to come home for Christmas?. It looked kind of sad when she was hanging a 24 day advent calendar in her dorm room. Whenever I see all of the lovely things you drag out to decorate with, I feel a little inadquate, LOL.
