Chizi you're so blessed to have real roots in Africa. As an African American woman, especially in our current social climate, I wish I could go home to Africa... and not feel like an American tourist. You looked gorgeous the entire trip, btw.
Chizi Duru when did they say it will be on Netflix ? I've been looking for it for months even Ghana must go with nkem owoh. Naija has gotten really great at preserving their film industry which is great for the industry but horrible for us in the states that want to get access to the latest films, and don't want to wait a year to six months to see a movie.
Theater use to be I Nigeria back in 50's but stop being active in 90's during military rule but right now theater movie experience is back in Nigeria the current have 43 movie theaters in different cities in Nigeria and more as still being build as week.
Her accent sounds like someone who grew up in Nigeria and then lived in the U.S. for a few yrs but somehow she didn’t know this. It’s possible she grew up in the village before going to the US and never lived in a large city in Nigeria.
Chizi, you and your friend Kitana are GORGEOUS. You guys have perfect teeth too >>> Lol, but I love how you keep breaking into the Naija accent. Great vlog!
SO GLAD YOU GUYS ARE ENJOYING THE VLOGS! To answer some questions: 1. Lipstick - ColourPop LAX 2. All music played in the video is in the description box (just updated it) 3. My earrings were bought at the Palms Spring Shoprite in Lagos Nigeria. (Not sure of the exact store!!) Stay tuned for fresh new content on Sunday! xoxoxox
Thank you for this authentic depiction of Africa. I'm South African and I enjoyed seeing a glimpse of Nigerian life. Consider visiting South Africa and I'd be happy to host you.
Your right Netflix have being trying over the years supporting Nigeria movies. I watch Nigeria movie CEO and October 1 on Netflix I don't if the movies are still there because that was over a year ago

Wow that's terrific! Considering the fact Nigeria is one of the dominating and successful forces in the film industry I should not expect anything left. Real eye opener. Thanks for replying it made my day!
Loved your Naija vlogs! I was wondering, did you have to wash your hands with bottled water before you put your contacts in? Because I really don't wanna wear my glasses next time I go and I know the water's not always clean
it's so so annoying when people think that way. imagine someone asking me what's the difference between Nigeria and Africa?? an MBA student for That matter. The water in my house back home is cleaner than the water I drink here in Australia. metcheww
Hi Chizi. I always dream of visiting that country. I'm glad u made this vid. What I hear of Naija is so negative, I guess its the same for my country Jamaica I love Africa, love Naija and Ghana and do occasionally act like I've got a Nigerian accent 😂😂😂

Chizi you're so blessed to have real roots in Africa. As an African American woman, especially in our current social climate, I wish I could go home to Africa... and not feel like an American tourist.
You looked gorgeous the entire trip, btw.
Marquia Jones You could always marry an African. Get that dual citizenship girl! 👏🏾👏🏾
True, but I'm already married. 😆
Nandi Fregene Yes! That would be more ideal.
Marquia Jones when I sit and think about how African Americans have been robbed of their true culture , it's really sad
Marquia Jones
sigh..
Those theatres are a Godsend for the Nigerian film industry. Otherwise piracy would have killed the whole thing off by now.
Chizi Duru when did they say it will be on Netflix ? I've been looking for it for months even Ghana must go with nkem owoh. don't know why people are surprised we have cinemas in Nigeria. we've had them for ages.
Uzoamaka Joe-Nkamuke are u minding them with their stereotypes ethnocentric behaviour..
She is from America so she wouldnt have known.
Her accent sounds like someone who grew up in Nigeria and then lived in the U.S. for a few yrs but somehow she didn’t know this. It’s possible she grew up in the village before going to the US and never lived in a large city in Nigeria.
Girl M.D. , she said she didn’t know they had cinemas that ONLY showed Nigerian movies. She didn’t say she didn’t know there were any at all.
