Hi! My wife and I feel like we know you guys personally ha. We've been watching all of your videos - love your format and energy! We've been planning a move to Raleigh since JUNE. We anticipate moving to the North Raleigh, Chapel Hill, or Apex area (three different job offers). We are hoping for North or West Raleigh for the most part. We are curious: What area of Raleigh do you guys live and for how long? And - all else being the same, which area would you guys relocate or stay in if you could with a snap of your fingers? Thanks
That is so kind! We are so happy you have been watching so many videos! We live in Durham County actually. Cindi's family is all here and we can't imagine not being close by with the kiddos. If that weren't the case, we would probably go Western Wake County in Apex, Holly Springs or Cary because you can't beat the greenway trail system there! However, in Raleigh we like N and W Raleigh the most for the green space and great shopping access. Also more character in the homes there than in the newer neighborhoods in Apex, HS, etc. Shoot us a message-we would love to hop on a zoom call with you prior to your move to walk through it with you more!
Thanks for the reply! We have your phone number saved and would be happy to discuss with you but don't want to waste your time just yet. Also - best email address for you? We are looking to RENT for the first year in the area while we rent our home here in Arizona. Did you have any advice or resources you can share regarding rentals? My wife and I have already decided to use you guys when we are ready to purchase a home in NC! @@raleigh-durhamnc
That is so kind! We look forward to that! yes, you can send us an email at zhoneycutt1@gmail.com We'd be happy to send you some info on rentals.@@josephkoenig57
Congratulations! 👶🏼 We just purchased a home in North Raleigh and are excited to explore the area. Definitely appreciate the food & coffee recommendations!
Great idea- we are always needing new ideas so we will add this to the list.! We do have a recent North Vs South Raleigh video that covers North Hills and lots of other Raleigh content. Be sure to check those out in the meantime!
I live in around the midst of your picks, which I think are excellent:) Bedford I think is particularly attractive as the neighborhood as amenities with a walk-able ness hard to find. Many of the single family homes are more like 5-600's and more though there are some relatively affordable town home here. And lot of variation on size so many people can take a look. Great for kids !
Hi great video but question is the weather always overcast or muggy? Most of the videos I’ve seen not too sunny coming from AZ maybe I’m just use to sun everyday?
Thank you! That’s a great question and I had to look up some stats. It’s the 21st sunniest state. We do have overcast days but we have a lot of sunny days as well. It’s a good mixture
I appreciated the info you shared in this video as well as your others. I’ve watched many of them. However, in this video there was one thing that was unclear to me. Is “North Raleigh” the northern part of the city of Raleigh, or is it a suburb of Raleigh that is called, “North Raleigh”, a town separate from the city of Raleigh?
Thanks so much for watching! It's still Raleigh but just the north side of the city. Raleigh is split up into different areas and North Raleigh is just one of them. The link below will take you to Raleigh's official website with a map of the area. www.visitraleigh.com/plan-a-trip/maps/
Best moment in the video "it wasn't me" hahaha. Your videos are so much fun to watch!
Haha! thanks so much for watching and taking the time comment! Hope they are a good resource for you!
People seem so kind and positive in Raleigh!

This is so helpful!!! Thank you 😊
We’re so glad it was helpful!! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for asking this question, I was wondering the same and also thanks for the website super helpful
I'd argue that North Hills is the original North Raleigh.
Thanks for watching, John!
Wakefield is a little further North than Bedford. Just bordering Wake Forest.😊
Wakefield is a great neighborhood! Thanks so much for watching!
Knightdale is better
Knightdale is a great area. It's definitely a very different feel than N Raleigh! We love Prime BBQ and Knightdale Station Park!
