I desperately need someone to explain to me how Armand can be the love of Louis' life. It seemed to me that they were making the show very much like the book so Louis was in live with Claudia and I am assuming that Armand and his friends kill her because she's a child vampire. It just doesn't make sense to me 🤷♀️ Now Louis and Lestat are unfortunately a messy couple but I definitely can't wait for them to reunite somewhere.
Claudia is the "daughter" Louis wanted and though Lestat knows he shouldn't make a child vampire 🧛♂️, he does it for Louis because he can't deny him and he wants to bind him to himself as well. Remember Louis was ready to leave, but if you ask me, he would have walked it off and come back home. Louis was not in love with Claudia, in the book, movie or the TV show. In the book of course she's trapped in a 5 year old's body, 11 in the movie & 14 in the TV show. Louis and Claudia feel overwhelmed and trapped to some extent by Lestat. But here again, in the TV show Louis had 6 years that Lestat was not in the home, when he and Claudia could have left. But Louis was waiting to forgive Lestat because he loves him, he loved him before he was turned and their vampire bond only ties them closer together. Armand and his coven of vamps kill Claudia in the books because she is a child and she "killed" Lestat. You can't kill one of your own & children shouldn't be made into vamps, thems the rules 🤗🤫 Armand allows it because he wants Louis ( we are talking book and movie now). And we don't know if it's just that or that & he wants to get back at Lestat, who has turned some of the coven against Armand's way of life years ago. Lestat also rejected him romantically. So possibly jealousy & revenge, he knows Lestat loves Louis (they are Endgame). For some reason Louis and Armand do travel together for decades but he never loves Armand or forgives his part in what happens to Claudia. (The extent of which we don't know until The Vampire Armand is written) Hope that helps some.🖐🖐
I don't know how the show is going to approach this but if they go like the books Louis and Armand of the books had a cute and soft relationship before Claudia's death they had a friendship that was turning into relationship , Louis mostly was looking for a substitute for Lestat and Louis always needs someone he can lean on because he's inactive and he depends on others , Armand and Louis talked a lot about stuff Lestat didn't talk about what Louis wanted to know and not to mention Armand could read his mind so he could do whatever Louis wanted compared to Lestat Armand could as also make Louis think like he was in love with Armand because he has a mind gift and he was hot so Louis could have easily fell in love with Armand , but yes they did fell in love at sometime but it didn't last because Louis figured Lestat was alive and Armand had killed Claudia not Lestat.
