Some of the improvements from 2.10 to 2.11 are amazing. If this is anything to go by, when we get to 2.20 it should be incredible. I no longer we use a computer for my tracks, this does everything I need, and is getting better. 👍

I know your influence is probably limited but, we need to be able to save different presets per pattern. I feel like it's pretty essential to a long live set to be able to do program changes easily. I've emailed Akai lol but............ yeah.
It's not, as you can do this by configuring your midi controller and / Or your external synths... Just a way to do it as a "master keyboard" basis ... and get confused when you do several sequences and need several type of split . I really don't believe in this feature ... MIDI config needs to be very precise to work 100 % with different external devices. the track sequence system of MPC allows you to do hat type of config on sequence basis ... If their new feature it's on sequence basis , maybe it can be practical .. but guess what ... I bet it will be clunky :)
When you are in the old browse mode that lets you scroll through and audio-preview items in the sortable columns, can you favorite kits/samples/etc. or do you have to be in the new sounds browser to set favorites? And is there any audio preview in that new tiled sounds mode? That is a huge missed opportunity if not. This has been the biggest dealbreaker for me with MPC compared to Maschine where I can browse through my sounds/presets/kits, preview them and set favorites so I can easily recall stuff I like later. (I own both but this particular issue drove me crazy and was why I switched.)
Awesome new features! I love the new split and layer functions, I can see myself using it with a weighted MIDI keyboard for live performance. Any idea how many splits and layers you can create? Also what about polyphony?
Coming from legacy MPCs (I owned MPC60, 2K, 2KXL, 1000 and 2500) I'm still baffled by the lack of being able to move tracks in the sequencer. In my creative process I don't always record in the same order, so being able to move tracks around is essential in order to clean up sequences. My impression is that this STILL hasn't been adressed in this software update, can you confirm?

After I installed my mpc is saying new plugin instruments are available , you must first download and install their content files ......HOW DO I DO THIS ????
Someone discovered a bug in 2.11. when the Mpc is receiving midi clock is saved, Loading a sample to a pad or loading a drum program stops the playback.
@@anonymouspreme3425 well while hype works for many it seems to be just pure lame to me, it’s really a synth rompler with very little synth parameters available to user. And saying it has fm is really not accurate as far I’m concerned. FM synth should have 6 operators or at least 4 with full set of parameters on screen. I like to make my own sounds and hype isn’t going to cut it for me it’s more of a preset synth. I was very disappointed when I first opened hype and couldn’t find edit page until I realised there isn’t full edit of any of those synth engines.
Me being a techno guy, the new sequencer features (esp. probability) are big steps up. I finger drum my beats but having things shift a bit more in loops will be wonderful.
I have an older video on it but it’s pretty straight forward. Just make sure to connect the audio out from the iPad to the inputs on the MP. Then set up Ableton link to communicate between the two and that should work. I might make an updated video on that :)
Yadda yadda yadda, There are still no way to convert key groups to a pad group. Not to mention the bugs that are still visible. Save and load function is still poor.
I'm not 100% sure on that. It's not listed as compatible on Akai website... It is however compatible with the MPC Software so I can't honestly see why it wouldn't work... Don't take my word for it though.
@@AccurateBeats yeah I noticed it says it will be a major update for all new mpc's plus the mpc software, so us touch users might get the software update just without the standalone capabilities
I"m wondering how the pad to keygroup feature will handle drum FX and other pad settings. I guess we'll have to flatten the pad before exporting it to a keygroup program.
I just don't understand why tell people 2 weeks before firmware drops. I understand teasers and what not for a new product, but not for firmware. Just drop it already. No reason to make us wait 2 more weeks :(
nooooooooooooooooo accurate. why didn't you test guitar / bass with the amp sim. literally NO ONE is testing the amp sims with instruments.... makes me so sad lol
They’re so far ahead of NI right now that I just wish they put out some Expansions :)))) Just kidding. Keep it coming Akai. Already have my Maschine+ up for sale.
7:10 does that sound like hi-hat to anyone? ....it couldnt be more anoying and sounds nothin like drums in reality ....it has no feel just dead equal hit everytime ...real drummer never plays 2 notes the same ....feeling music and building it by programming and drawing is two different things ....not have same outcome
