      What I’ve learned over the years is that it’s impossible to build and design the perfect studio on paper, at least to me. There’s a lot of moving parts and you need to try different options to find what works best in the long run.
      Keep an open mind and try to be patient and it’ll grow into something that suits you perfectly

    I have never used any MPC but I do use Logic Pro. I see that you have in on the screen. I may have the wrong impression that the MPC is a DAW after all and so I thought that it would be/ should replace any other DAW. I never considered purchasing an MPC because I think / though that I should stop using Logic. Any thoughts from you on this greatly appreciated!

    My setup is a horrible mess all the time but I'm still the biggest hinderance on it. I've been thinking of getting one of those multi-tier keyboard stands but instead of using it for the keyboards, put shelves on it and then fill them with the synths/drum machines/grooveboxes. Not an original idea, I saw someone else do DAWless like that and loved it, takes less space and the things are more accessible. I too buy stuff and it never leaves, still not sure if it's a good or a bad things 😂

    • @AccurateBeats
      @AccurateBeats  5 днів тому +1

      Yeah, the only issue with a tall stand like this is to get everything at a comfortable height. This stand comes with its own set of shelves that are pretty handy for putting pedals or smaller drum machines and such on it. It’s worth a try?

      Any functional setup is a good setup! I used to have my stuff in a drawer under the bed that I pulled out and put on my kitchen table to make beats. It worked fine until I got a moved into a bigger place.
      If the music needs to get made, there’s no right or wrong way to make it happen!

    Great video, Accurate! In conclusion to that, I would like to see a video, which points out, how exactly you managed to afford all this gear. I know through selling beats and UA-cam over a lot of time, I assume, but I am also setting up a home studio year by year just taking the money I earn from my day job, but I would like to hear something about how you've done it better than me.😉👍

    • @AccurateBeats
      @AccurateBeats  5 днів тому +1

      The answer to that is a combination of building a UA-cam channel like this, working with companies in the industry for sponsored videos, putting a lot of my own money (from my day job) into it and tax write-off’s.
      I made a lot more money from UA-cam a few years ago and I put most of that money back into my studio.

  • @Drrolfski
    @Drrolfski 5 днів тому +3

    Outfitting a home studio must be a nightmare as a UA-camr considering the insane amounts of gear that gets piled up.

    • @AccurateBeats
      @AccurateBeats  5 днів тому +2

      The older I get, the more stuff I gather, the more selective I become. If I took every opportunity to get new gear - this would’ve been sooo much worse.

    In my opinion, a studio place, becomes always a representation of the person(s) who makes music in it. So if it’s a bit messy, that’s just the way it is 🤷‍♂️ also for me, chaos is the perfect breeding ground for creativity. What doesn’t mean, you shouldn’t clean up, from time to time 😂😉

    • @AccurateBeats
      @AccurateBeats  5 днів тому +1

      I agree!

    its important to remember no one got the perfect sounding home studio unless its a purpose built
    studio built by someone who really understands sound so try not to get hung up about it
    many hip hop producers dont care about sound treatment they just defuse the sound with there ikea shelfs lol

    • @RoomAtTheTopStudio
      @RoomAtTheTopStudio 5 днів тому +1

      @@mrflynn01 He asked why Accurate Beats moved "From Maschine to MPC?" He didn't say Maschine had anything to do with MPC. It's a valid question. Accurate was on Maschine for years

    • @AccurateBeats
      @AccurateBeats  5 днів тому +1

      It IS a valid question and it might be a topic for an entire video sometime… I haven’t thought that much about it but there are a few things that the MPC does that Maschine doesn’t. The midi editing is definitely a factor, the pitch detection is another. I hate and love the touch screen but I can’t deny that it adds functionality.
      The lack of interesting updates for Maschine is also a factor… hmmmm… Maybe this IS a video

    its the slip mat and the stylus that counts for sampling
