Maybe its because Im from the Avalon peninsula but Ive never seen a tree that broad in Newfoundland, ever. Just love these videos - really conveys the atmosphere of Newfoundland in a lot of ways, quiet and simple.
Wow outstanding video. You can tell hes been doing this his whole life. I left nfld when i was young. Moving back there now at 32 years old. These videos are preparing me for the rest of my life in nfld. Thank you for your knowledge and wisdom
Love seeing this. I'm sitting in an office in Vancouver watching this. I think my blood pressure dropped 20 points from seeing this. Loved the peacefulness and the lack of music and talking. Covid shagged me out of a trip back to the Rock this summer but can't wait to get back their with my son and daughter next year and get out into the back country. Please keep these videos coming!
What a wonderful little trip, and nice set up, but when you said 3c and rain, I felt I had to get under my blanket 🙂. No problem when your well prepared, but it can be awful miserable when you're not.
Awesome video! Really enjoyed that. Great camp set up, and that soup looked bang on to me! 👍🏻 You're a brave man though - I studied Environmental Biology in my 'other life' and I'd never drink straight from a stream, especially during spring run off... The only time I wouldn't treat my water (aside from an emergency, I guess) is when I'm at the source and it's coming bubbling up from underground. But hey, what doesn't kill ya... lol! 😁👍🏻
Just discovered your channel. I’m so glad I did. You sir, are an A-1 bush crafter! I love your shelter. Gonna try that next time I’m out in the bush. Great video. Gonna watch all your content and I hope you keep more coming. I subscribed as well.
First time seeing this one! I stumbled across your videos, while watching snowmobile things. First was the moose attack. Been watching ever since. Great video. Nice trees there!!
Great video, i have been watching people from all over the world do these type of videos i like justin barbour he's good, but i really enjoy someone from my hometown, doing this , and like ken taylor said just the sounds of nature is prefect, keep them comming.
What part of the rock did u do this overnight in? I'm from Appleton out by Gander. I live in Ontario at this time tho. Love the out doors and miss it big time.
Out standing so peaceful and relaxing feels like im there

That cutting board looks like treated lumber....If it is you should not use it for food prep as the chemicals used to treat it are poison.
