Using the SuperKnob on the Yamaha MODX

- The SuperKnob is a super useful feature on the new Yamaha synths, i.e., the MODX and the Montage. It can be simultaneously assigned to a plethora of parameters from Filters to Envelopes to LFOs etc to make some truly expressive sounds.
In this quick tutorial, I demonstrate how to assign a single parameter to the SuperKnob. The same procedure applies for multiple parameters. Explore its usage on factory presets to understand more.
If you have any questions, leave them in the comments.
Keep playing!
I mostly bought my MODX8, because I wanted to replace my old Yamaha P-200 digital piano being so heavy and I was very impressed how light weight the MODX8 was along with a great sounding digital sampled piano. I got much to learn about this new keyboard.
That synth you made sounds real nice!
Thank you for this information!

I'm confused. I initialized a Performance so I could start from scratch. I assigned OB Saw for the sound. I went into Part Edit, Filter, clicked on Cutoff, pressed Assign button, moved the Superknob.
It says it is assigned. But when I move the Superknob there is no change in cutoff.
What if you turn the specific cutoff knob at the left of the superknob?
