@@TheDadWhoLived Somehow I think that makes Thad like you even more. Now it's just fun to see how long it will continue until Thad just outright asks if you want to live in the fae realm. Or for like, milk and sugar instead of coffee.... You know.. I know the kids selling things made with magic is a little unethical in some ways. Woooould, hear me out, exchanging sugar and sweets with the fae for a new soul broom be out of the line? Thad seems like he'd hear it out at least.

I now think YA fantasy would be more interesting if there was a B plot of the kids having to try to avoid their attentive parents who want to keep them safe
Could have sworn the rules about taking food from fae only applied if you were visiting them. Like, they make you think it's a gift, but they never say it's a gift, so when you eat their food suddenly you owe them your soul or whatever. So as soon as you make Thad say the fruit is a gift that's that, you're safe.
No, not quite. Time moves more slowly for them. To the point that if you become a part of their Realm (by say, eating their food) trying to return to your own Realm could prove to be lethal. As in you will rapidly age, possibly to the point of turning to dust.
So, he clearly isn't a human because no human would ever make that god forsaken sandwich
Thad the Fey doesn't realise that he's trying to get power over a stygian demon. It's not going to end well.
Turns out his children's magical heritage is on his side of the family, he's just oddly oblivious about it.

this series is absolutely genius. i cant help but be stupidly aware how, uh, unpleasant the kids are, like jesus magical kids are worse than regular kids. Dad be just doing the best job imaginable in the situations he gets into n deals with, guy should get a gold medal and a vacation for all that.

Careful there man - getting involved with the Greek gods is NEVER a good idea. One minute you're out for drinks with Persephone, the next you and your wife are wondering why "Candy Shop" is playing out of thin air.
Actually you'd be pretty safe with her, Hades, & Artemis, & maybe Hera. The rest, well...
@@gingermcgingin4106 Hades and Persephone is probably the least toxic Greek myth, but it still involves kidnapping.
Artemis... Maybe. I can't remember anything specific that she did, but I'd bet good money she did SOMETHING.
Hera is WAY too volatile. I know it's mostly her husband's fault, but she has a habit of taking out her rage on whoever is unlucky enough to be nearby at the time. I don't want to get murdered just because Zeus got horny for the nth time today.
Hestia might be ok. I'd still be careful.
Actually, the original word in the myth more accurately to “without parental consent.” Or, more simply, they eloped. Persephone and Hades are absolutely the least toxic combination in Greek mythology
@@gingermcgingin4106 While you don't have to worry about getting SAed by her, Hera is a yandere with a short temper, so I'd still consider her extremely unsafe to be around - especially if you say anything positive about your own spouse around her, since she killed at least one couple in Greek mythos that said their relationship was better than Hera's relationship with Zeus (a very low bar) and Hera considered that smite worthy. She also turned a man into a woman to try to prove a point in an argument she was having with Zeus about whether sex was more fun for men or women, then when the unfortunate genderswap victim was interrogated about their experiences later and reported it was about the same for both she got mad and turned them back into a man...after they had already been happily married with children and finally got used to living as a woman...
@@KohakuRyuKazes Actually it was "without maternal consent" - he went through proper courtship procedure for the era and asked her father (Zeus) for her hand in marriage, and Zeus agreed and told him where to pick her up. But Zeus figured Demeter (Persephone's mom) would be mad about it (she was) so he didn't bother telling either of them, hence why they both initially assumed it was a kidnapping. Hades for his part simply followed instructions and mistakenly assumed everyone was on the same page...

I think Thad is not happy after not getting what they wanted so they made the dads coffee cold as revenge

aw, I've been binging all the compilations and just realised this is the last so far.
The cells in the bell pepper and zuchini are still alive for quite a while after being cut off the plant. The plant wants them to be nice and appetizing for any creature that might come along and eat them, thereby spreading the seeds.
Ah, luckily the parent of Timmy's demigod friend is one of the more reasonable members of the Greek pantheon. (Especially considering that her name means "bringer of death and destruction".) Just make sure not bring up mint around her, she has history with those. And don't let Evangeline get into her makeup box - last person who tried to steal makeup from Persephone died, sooo...
