The best album song Incredible. I cried the first time. I cried.....This is something not from this world. Wait for this song live. It will be somethin magical.
I hate that fans are saying they want more stuff like Run to Hills and the Trooper, when they can still hear those songs, I love maidens different approach in this Album, especially how rough these past years have been to everyone, its a perfect mood
fact is Bruce's voice just doesn't hit the high notes anymore without sounding annoying; production is muffled and at least 1 minute and a half might have been trimmed from this without doing nothing but improving a song which is good but please don't even mention Run to the hills or The trooper compared to this. Just don't.
@@MrManalishi Can I have chips, with my steak, though, lol....yummy, just like this whole entire awesome album;-P I'm in Victoria Australia, and we are in lockdown, sooo no steak, chips, beers, as the pubs are all closed:( Up the mighty Irons!!!!!
Absolutely stunning. I'm still in awe of not only this song but this album. Top to bottom , it's amazing. This is now on my top 3 Iron Maiden albums of all time.!!!
Iron maidens songs are like a awesome movie. The more you watch it the more you discover great details in it that you didn't notice before. Up the irons 👊
I’ve heard this song a hundred times now and it NEVER gets old. The ending still brings tears to my eyes from the pure beauty and emotional singing from Bruce. This album is 10/10 in my book.
I almost can't believe this album. I'm 42 and my mind is blown. Tool, iron, system, slipknot. My mind is blown . What a generation of music. Ty. :). The 42 will be hell. Toughen up and wake up
when I first heard this i wasnt sure ....It s now my second favorite song on the album, next to Hell On Earth. Goes to show the more you listen you hear the little details!!!

Still trying to understand, what is actually happening. Fan since 1992...I'm a bit in shock. The magic is back. This Album deserves all praises of the universe 🙌 Really liked your reaction here.
forgive me brother , I can't hold my tears each time I listen to the intro, especially when they all sing "aaaaaaaahhhhh" i think it's the most underrated track of the album
best parts first prechorus on 3:35 to 4:00 and from 8:10 to finish absolutely beautifull, best vocalist part i heard like in starblind on TFF and some others in past albums
Beautiful song, pure Maiden through and through but to hear how far they have come after 40 years fills me with an immeasurable joy. I made a point to hear this album away from home on a road trip for the first listens; in the mountains of Colorado when I heard the final lyrics of this track, I was genuinely moved to tears, had to find a place to camp to take it all in.
It’s funny how some reviews have bashed this album because of the synth and also saying Bruce’s voice is shot. Then I see real fans and myself loving this album. I wasn’t expecting it to be another Number of the Beast or Powerslave. That would be to much to expect. The write of this album and just the feel I get when listening to my vinyl copy is so much more than I was even hoping for. Also I got a feeling like that has already been said that I bet all of these songs will grow on me even more. 🤘🤘
I was driving through The Otways, in Victoria, Australia, with Redwood forest all around me, at 110 ks, roaring, screaming, along with Bruce, with tears streaming down my face.
Thelast cry of the last native warrior, remembering what his culture was, but prepared to join the fate with the enemies his own people detroyed. Sad, but powerful, melancolic till the last advice, when the warrior has decided to fight against the enemies in the last war, for bringuing facts to remember, but sure that those who are ready to fight against him will dawn as a culture to. Cycle of the history.
I am somwhere near you. I loved Iron Maiden so much when I was 18 or something, but after Brave New World album...the lighthouse was lit again. Awesome albums...onw by one.
Sarfaraaz, my brother from South Africa. Is there anything better than enjoying a Maiden song together??? This album blows all current music away. Your reviews bring joy to my day. I hope you do Celts!!! Thank you so much!!!! Maiden freaking rules.
Didn't like this album much when I first heard it. But then came to like more and more. Tbh I didn't even go through this song to the end, such a shame. But when I first did, it blew my mind. I don't cry very often nowadays, but this outro made me shed a tear right in front of people for the first time in many years. Amazing song, amazing album. Grande Maiden 🤘🏼❤
So sad that a band in their 60's are showing bands and musicians in their 20's and 30's how it's fucking done. Rock in general is in deep trouble. Is originality the key? To me it's not only important it's EVERYTHING. But to the sad, uneducated young music listeners of today I don't think they even care. They have never experienced a music "scene" and never will. I live in Seattle and it's hard to believe grunge was born here and dominated the City and Country. But now, grunge scene feels so long ago you could find Alice in Chains tapes and Albums next to Tyranasaurus Rex bones.
I always watch this every week. This is so epic, despite I usually hate these 1st reaction videos. Your comments accelerates this awesome song even higher. This definitely is on my utube playlist.

They've got all Harris' tricks and three guitar players + Bruce singing. What could go wrong? They are such awesome band. They create new songs all the time.

You know what mean? I'm pretty political, with strong views and an attachment to a particular opinion, and I'm strongly Christian, but when I see your reaction to this song, and see it mirroring my own (I cried the first time I heard this, at the end), see in you a brother. Maiden fans transcend all other attachments.
If you would like to react to a new act you may not have heard before, I would recommend listening to Aesthetic Perfection with their song Gods & Gold.
Dont get me wrong, I like the song but am I the only one who thinks the song would've been cooler if they had just kept it at the mellow, low-key tone throughout instead of just the first couple of minutes? Its a good song but I was already expecting it to kick up a notch because that's typical of so many Maiden songs. It would've been cool if they had thrown us a curve ball and just kept it as a sort of soft, lamenting song.
Absolutely my least favorite track on this album. I wish they would have kept that "Pink Floyd" vibe but just turned it into an up-tempo rocker. I think the main riff of this song is just horrible.
That ending cannot be denied. Possibly one of the saddest most beautiful melodies I’ve ever heard from Maiden in my 38 years of being a fan. Are you another one lost in the 80’s? Give them a fucking break man. Rock and roll has NEVER been more dead and Maiden clashes with Drake for the #1 spot in the UK. Nicko is 67. They’re all in their 60’s. Make me bother band challenging themselves with each album at that age anymore. You need perspective my man.
