I buy the pool size bag from amazon. Wash your towels without soap, one cup of baking soda on a warm wash, the half a cup of white vinegar with final rinse. Do not use fabric softener. Tumble dry with dryer balls and a couple of drops is your favourite essential oil. Then enjoy, clean, fluffy, ultra absorbent, great smelling towels. Best hack ever.
Baking soda saved me when I got a burn mark from a hot pan on my kitchen counter. I mixed baking soda with some white toothpaste I had and scrubbed the spot and it just came out. I was so relieved.

I love cleaning with baking soda! I keep a jar of it next to my kitchen sink to wash produce or any stubborn pots or pans. I also use it in every load of laundry 🧺 and I sprinkle on my mattress, leave it for a while before vacuuming it up.
I love using baking soda for polishing my wedding ring. I just scoop some up with a designated toothbrush and a little water and scrub away! So clean and shiny!
Try to be careful with the toothbrush because I clean my ring with small diamonds in the band while cleaning I felt my brush cling to my ring but didn't think much about it, later and to late I lost my diamond and had to replace it.

You can use baking soda and make a paste with it to help if you break out in hives from an allergic reaction to something! It works great just sit in the tub and rub it on the affected area and let sit for a few minutes and wash it off and it will help with hives.

I also can’t live without my essential oils! 💧I make toothpaste & mouthwash with it too, but I add a drop of peppermint oil to it to help it taste better & for the mouth freshening!!😬🦷 I also use essential oils mixed with baking soda in a small upcycled shaker bottle, to sprinkle on the carpets♻️I let it sit overnight sometimes before vacuuming it up. Just what I was going to say. Shaking BS out of the box looks so awkward - plus it's more difficult to control how much you sprinkle. Put your BS in any plastic container with a shaker top - or punch holes yourself if need be. Much easier to manage. Plus you can buy the ECONOMY size of BS - I've bought 15 lb bags for only $6 - and refill your shaker container as needed.
Buy the 13.5 lb bag of baking soda at Costco for $6.99. Also use in your laundry and in your bathtub; it removes soap scum in minutes without heavy scrubbing. Also you can make toothpaste with coconut oil and essential oil.

You can try to wash your hands with wet coffee grumbs, keeps your hands free from any smell and afterwords your hands are very smooth due to the Coffey oil ....this tip I got from my father
as a laundry booster I use 2Tbs baking soda and 2Tbs white vinegar (put vinegar in fabric softener dispenser) and approx a quarter amount of my laundry detergent. This combo works so well to really impregnate the fabric to remove detergent product build-up and make clothes super soft.

FYI - According to all that I have read, *Vacuum manufacturers advise AGAINST* using their equipment to vacuum up *BAKING SODA,* or any minute particle powder once it gets into the inner parts of the motor it can only be cleaned with an engine overhaul. Otherwise, I too use baking soda for all sorts of purposes from cleaning to using it to *turn* my *Blue Hydrangeas Pink : D*

I don’t get the idea that baking soda getting into the vacuum causing it not working. Vacuum sucks in millions of powder particles, these will also cause the machine damage as much as baking powder.

I am a smoker and a coffee drinker but my friends and family are always commenting on how white my teeth are. I make a paste of baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and a few drops of lemon juice. You want the paste to be the consistency of thin frosting. Put some of the paste on your toothbrush and brush your teeth with it. You will notice a significant difference!

It’s great to remove grease and cooked on food from your stove top. I leave it on all night. I spray it with vinegar or hydrogen peroxide and the stove top looks brand new. I am an excellent cook but make lots of messes. Oh it gets black off the bottom of pans and on and on. 👍 👍

Thanks for these tips!! I love making little deodorizer jars with baking soda and essential oil (my favorite is peppermint) for my fridge, linen closet and behind the litter box. My baking soda clogs up the spray nozzle when I use this tip! I've tried mixing it in boiling water & it still clogs. Its a wonderful tip but do you have any ideas on making a DIY room deodorizer spray WITHOUT baking soda or in a way that it won't clog the spray nozzle??
You can also mix baking soda with water and use it to clean your car battery terminals. You wont believes how many cars I've worked with that had electrical problems or starting up, all i did was pour that solution to clean them and fixed the issue.Take care of your car people and they will never let you down!

Dryer sheets have petroleum waste products on them and leave that residue on everything. If you are going natural make your own.
The baking soda in the sink is great to clean and using a scrubbing side of a sponge. Then rinse like you mentioned.
Just an fyi, putting the baking soda in a clean parmesan cheese container is great for sprinkling the soda on your carpets and other areas

Baking soda + vinegar does nothing, apart from neutralising.
Rubbing some lemon juice on your hands after handling onions and garlic works wonders in getting rid of the smell

Thanks for these tips!! I love making little deodorizer jars with baking soda and essential oil (my favorite is peppermint) for my fridge, linen closet and behind the litter box. I also sprinkle some baking soda in my cats litter box everytime I clean it. It makes such a difference for the kitty litter smell!

My baking soda clogs up the spray nozzle when I use this tip! I've tried mixing it in boiling water & it still clogs. Its a wonderful tip but do you have any ideas on making a DIY room deodorizer spray WITHOUT baking soda or in a way that it won't clog the spray nozzle??

Liz's Wake Up With Make Up baking soda I think has some cream of tartar in it. Bicarb is the purest version and SO much cheaper!

You can also mix baking soda with water and use it to clean your car battery terminals. You wont believes how many cars I've worked with that had electrical problems or starting up, all i did was pour that solution to clean them and fixed the issue.Take care of your car people and they will never let you down!

If you take a half a spoon full in cold water will get rid of heart burn. Also baking soda and vinegar mix in a baggy tie it to your facet and it gets rid of and build up leave on about 20 minutes
