    My wife and I visited Cornwall in 2017, staying in our caravan just outside of St Ives and should have returned there last June but Covid put a stop to that., Mousehole is one of our favourite stops. We normally park in the lay-by on the main road in, as long as you get there early. Lovely video, I like the sound of the seaside with the gulls and busy holiday life.

    Classic English coastal town, unspoiled and natural. First class.

    Great video - thank you. Have a small oil painting of the harbour hanging in our hall, by Nigel Hallard whose gallery you passed. Love Mousehole so much. We stayed in a flat above the gift shop right by the war memorial, several times - with a gorgeous view of the harbour. 😎

    Lovely video, what a gorgeous place. I’m ashamed to say I didn’t even know Mousehole existed until I accidentally found myself watching the actress Shobna Gulati readin ‘The Mousehole cat’ on Jackanory, which I’d put on for my children! One day I shall finally get to visit.

    Every good Friday a lot of the locals walk from Mousehole to Lamorna. It’s amazing you don’t see your neighbour for weeks but are sure to bump in to them on the good Friday walk.

    Thanks for another lovely walk in Cornwall. Mousehole is a very unusual name but I surely enjoyed seeing their stone built cottages and other buildings lining more twisty, hilly lanes. It seemed a bit quieter there, more of my liking. What intrigued me the most was seeing the long lines crossing over the sand where families played off the various sea vessels tied up so not to float away. Very cool. Looking forward to seeing what's next! :)

    Love your videos & I'm thinking of getting a gimbal for my phone. The trouble is I suffer from anxiety & I know I'm going to feel very self conscious when I'm using it (especially when walking on my own). Did you have this problem when you started?

    • @GimbalWalkTV
      @GimbalWalkTV  3 роки тому

      I suffer from really bad anxiety and self consciousness or st least I did before I got one
      was worried what people might think etc
      now I just whip it out, press record and walk down the street and couldn’t care less
      I’m not saying it would be like that for yourself by the way
      I did have to get used to people looking but you soon realise people just have a tiny quick glance because they’re curious about the gimbal as most people have never seen one before
      It’s worth a try for sure!

    Far from unspoilt, the proliferation of holiday homes and 2nd homes is killing the community. Tourism may be the bread and butter of the village but out of season it is deserted, locals have been priced out of living there and you can walk through the village of a winter's evening and hardly any of the houses lit up. In the summer its a theme park and rammed out, parking a nightmare and in the winter its deserted.....

    • @GimbalWalkTV
