  • Emory University is striving to achieve zero landfill waste on campus. Landfills have negative social, economic, and environmental impacts on our neighborhoods, disproportionately for our lowest-income neighborhoods. Starting in 2018, students, faculty, and staff will be asked to sort their recycling, compost, and trash into five waste collection bins, which will be located in convenient indoor and outdoor spaces.
