I am so happy that we are finally getting Torchlight 2 Nintendo switch Xbox one and PlayStation 4 this September 3rd this year. I can't wait to play the beserker as my first class.
A good tip for Torchlight 2 is to take your unwanted gems and transmute them into a new random gem. You used to be able to upgrade your gems to a stronger version of the same gem, but not in torchlight 2. You can still get some very good gems by combining three unwanted gems though. I currently have several health and mana restoring gems that I made this way. Makes things a great deal easier if you can recover your health and mana in only a few seconds.

I didn't pick the Outlander at first because I wasn't too keen on guns in TL2, but then I learned that you can use pretty much any weapons you want! XD

6 years later , still an amazing game and right now there is the Steam Winter Sale and Torchlight 2 is 3,79 Euro . I never heard of the game before and now it's probably the most perfect time to buy it since the price is at it's lowest. Still very much enjoyable and very replayable

you can get the demo to see if you enjoy it (and if you end up buying the full version, you can keep progress made in demo). I seriously enjoy it! If I had known how much I like it I would have been willing to pay more than 20!
Great game for the family. Mainly because of LAN, D3 with our connection isn't good. TL2 is a great game. Looks graphically like WOW to me. Even slightly better

They didn't give any word about it publicly until after the week of the breech, and it was not only found out how they encrypted their files, which was done horribly, but also that they had little to *no* password protection in the programming. They had no brute force protection at the time, and passwords at the time didn't even register the capitalization of letters, which is a standard in all other systems
I have played Sacred 2, and I have to tell you I enjoy this game very much. The graphics is't a turn off and actually fits with the whole theme. It is a must play for PC gamers.

Ive played a few MMO type games. I HATE that grinding for gear seems to be more important than game play itself. I played this for about 15 minutes and found a purple piece of armor on one toon, tried a different toon and found an orange from a mob. I like the fact that I dont have to rake an area for like 5 days just to get a ring. Trust and believe this game is totally awesome.

I hear you man, i got to lvl 53 after i beat the story with my step brother, and then realized... now what? i just realized they make mods for the game and stuff, i got around 3 class mods and i have around 8-10 classes now :D it actually spiced up the game a bit im currently lvling my lvl 25 paladin.
Fuck, this is the kind of game I've been wanting, you don't have to connect to the internet, you don't have to become dependent on other (greedy) players in order to advance in the game and acquire the best gear, and there are no monthly fees. I have a lot of time constraints in my life, but I'm seriously thinking about getting it.
You can use custom made mods in the game if you want to, but that can ruin the game experience but its up to you if you want to alter the game or not. The mods can also be a good thing like a new map, gametype, boss or even a multiplayer arena.
Torchlight 2 is a must-buy for those who were disappointed with D3. I played D3 and I had fun primarily because I played co-op with friends, but I found that the game lacked extreme customization. The Wizard I played was the exact carbon copy of all the other D3 players who played Wizards, aside from items, due to the complete absence of skill/attribute allocation. Needless to say, I recommend TL2 for its extraordinary wealth in creating a unique character of my own through customization.
The characters only have 4 fingers and I really hate the running pose looks from behind. Aside from that this game is totally awesome, I really love the fact that you can customized the stat build and skills for your playing style as damage dealer, supports, or summoners stuffs.
Really good game. I love the art style, it's so colorful compared to the other games that are the same genre, like Diablo, not as dark, which for me it's not better but different and really cool.
I'm downloading the demo as we speak! Totally reminds me of a game called "FATE". Remember that one? If you played it, and I did :) You'll see a TON of similarities in this game. Can't wait to play :)

have just recently got diablo 3 for my ps3. i have been quite lucky in my games,as i have come across a fair bit of legendary stuff tbh. i have to say that i have been enjoying the game a lot. am definitely going to buy torchlight 2 also though,as it looks great (just hope my laptop can run it. nice video :-)

But, damn, when I played T2 yesterday I was blown away. this game is better than T1 in every single way and add its quite harder. Even at $60 this game is a must buy. only real problem is that I still havent been able to make runic account. servers crashed all day.
And during that breech, it was shown that hundreds of players, which had been complaining and such during the time of being hacked, had authenticators on their accounts, so Blizzard actually had to take responsibility instead of blaming their playerbase.
I like Diablo 3 and Torchlight, I think they're both good games. I wouldn't say Diablo sucks, because of the entertaining story and beautiful artstyle as well as diverse gameplay. Torchlight II has a simpler art style and equal to better gameplay than Diablo 3.
Yeah I think diablo 1 and 2 nailed it on not looking cartoony. Probably because of the capabilities of the time period being limited or perhaps their budget. It's like movies nowadays using CGI.
i haven't played diablo 3 but i can tell you after around 9 hours of game play i can't tell you anything i don't like about this. definitely give it a shot well worth the 20 dollars

So what's the official word on the current playerbase? Lookin to pick this up probably. I think they really botched the advertising; I saw ads, but none of them ever mentioned the $19.99 pricepoint. Was it higher at release? The skill trees and the ability for any class/any item is what has basically sold me on this. It truly shows that D3 was designed totally around the AH. In 100 or so total levels of play I think I only found 2 or 3 items that made me EXCITED
Torchlight II is very much worth the purchase.

The other things I like about this game is that you have a chance to find the weapon/armor sets at the local vendor also.

Bought a 4 pack off steam for $60. also came with 4 copies of TL...(8 games) I've been playing it with my kids. How lucky are they having a gamer dad.
