4:55 *THIS* A lot of people complain about how Toxic Mist can easily be avoided even though its main selling point is capitalizing on people avoiding it. I really wish that the Splatlings weren't the only usable Toxic Mist weapons (with both of them being outclassed by their other variants and other weapons with the same specials) because then it could actually see some use.
Toxic mist is actually why i like splash a lot. It's really great in modes like raimmaker and clam blitz to make it easier for teammates to rush down them.
I was playing Vanilla Splash when this went up cause you literally NEVER see it, always the Neo. You really show people the works of this weapon, dude. Keep up the incredible stuff DUDE!
JONK I’m not very skilled with it but it’s rewarding to stack mpu on it, and for taking shots with mpu or not, do a fully charged shot then a tap shot.
splash is the weapon i go to when i dont wanna really think too much and i just wanna have a good turf war. Now i can actually be useful with it hahahah
Neo Splash O Matic is one of my favorite weapons, since it feels like a mix of the 2 variants from Splatoon. I miss the Suction Bomb Rush spam of the Neo from the original though, where the bombs left over from Bomb Rush could fill your special meter a good amount and soon you might be able to do another bomb rush. Though in Splatoon 2, it takes more points to Bomb Rush and the bombs don't fill up your special meter. I haven't thought to use Ninja Squid with the Neo Splash O Matic. I feel more comfortable using Ninja Squid when using a roller or a weapon that has curling bombs. But maybe I will try it next time. I usually feel somewhat afraid to play aggressive using the Neo Splash O Matic, but don't have that problem with certain other short range weapons like the tri sloshers.
What build would you recommend for the Neo Splash-o-matic? Based on Dude's Perfect Gear Guide - ua-cam.com/video/Nk_N7VDQxiY/v-deo.html - an efficient weapon like this would not need Ink Recovery Out as much and could get by with subs for the other four of his recommended abilities: Bomb Defense Up DX, Ink Resistance Up, Special Saver, and Quick Super Jump. From there, it depends on how this weapon will be played. For a slayer, the usual suspects come to mind: Comeback, Quick Respawn, and Stealth Jump. Of note, however, is Main Power Up. 31 ability points - or about two mains and four subs (one main and seven subs is exact but takes up too many subs to use Dude's recommended subs) - is enough to max out at 33.3 damage, turning this weapon into a potential three-hit-splat. Adding this to Dude's suggested subs will leave one main and one sub, possibly for Stealth Jump and Quick Respawn or just Quick Respawn. A player who wants a main of both Stealth Jump and Quick Respawn will have to sacrifice a main of Main Power Up, but 22 ability points - one main and four subs - will still exceed 32 damage. Also, in tournaments that disable sub abilities, having only one main of Main Power Up is still enough to exceed 30 damage, while having two mains will elevate the damage to just shy of 32. A player using this weapon as a support will have to mind the rather high special gauge requirement of 210p - equal to that of the Kensa Splattershot Pro but easier to achieve due to much better turfing. One main of Special Charge Up will effectively reduce the requirement to 192.5p, while two will reduce it to 180p. Having a main of Main Power Up still helps a support player tremendously, while Sub Power Up increases the throwing range of the Burst Bombs, enabling one to provide bomb support from a safer distance. the Neo Splash-o-matic is my best/most used weapon I never thought about putting on special charge up till this video I’m gonna try it out 11:55 I would have died in that situation
•briî• if you jump with the splashomatic, there won’t be any rng to your shots, and if you short hop out of ink, you conserve most of your momentum. There was some video explaining it, I’ll try and find it
Hi Dude. A charger learner here. I'd be very thankful if you could make a video of how to get good using chargers which covers both scoped and unscoped chargers. Thanks in advance.
Joey Perez the Sploosh is inaccurate but you don’t have to worry about it because it’s range is really short that you have to go up to your opponents and shoot them and all of your shots can’t miss your opponent because of how close you are to them.
I like the Splash-O-Matic because of the mist. I'm not a pro player, but I like my builds so I can spam my sub weapons. With that kind of build I have alot of options to use my weapons.
Facecam?
Dude: I sleep
Handcam?
Dude: *oh yes*
The splash-o-matic is my favorite shooter weapon in the game and I couldn't have found this awesome video at a better time, thanks.
Jesus I am literally in love with your gameplay.
Neo splash was the weapon I used for most of my splatfests. suc and burst bomb really help its painting power.
Its what you call an everything weapon 😎👊
shookerina I won a 100x battle with my neo sploosh. And I agree it’s the best for splatfests
Gonna use it for the last splatfest!
Funnily enough I was using this when you uploaded, I've always loved it's painting ability and the patch that means it has no midair rng.

3 mains 4 subs mpu and you are good to go :)
@@l.uis162 it was changed to 2 mains and 8 subs in 5.1.
@@nimroddafny7125 Well I guess I have been playing with an outdated build lately, thanks for telling me :)
Nimrod Dafny or 3 mains and 5 subs?

Game 1: had me questioning if dude should have dodge roll on....
Game 2: Dude dodging and surviving like a boss

I used to religiously main this weapon no matter what mode I was in
Thanks soooo much for this guide! It’s a very good turf weapon that I really wanted to get good with!
This is perfect timing! I tried this weapon out for the first time and really liked it.
Thanks for doing my video request Dude!
your welcome.
@@ThatSrb2DUDE *Wince* You're
The Neo Splash-o-Matic is really good at covering ground last minute in Turf Wars, it’s a great special and definitely my favorite Bomb Rush
Very interesting and informative video. I never really use this weapon outside of turf war, but I'll consider using it in splat zones.
This is so helpful! Thanks DUDE🔥💯 You really have helped me a lot as a player!
Toxic mist is very effective especially when grouped together with teammates were applicable nice to see it get some love
I use it to get people away from certain areas they’re hiding in so I can get em
@@fusee_gelee noice 😎
I would love to see one of these for the blaster and custom Blaster!
Yay I wanted to main splash O matic!
ty dude i wanted to play this weapon for the painting power but had absolutely no idea how to use it
Nice vid!
Thank you!
This is a weapon that I wish I could win with alot more.
Also typically the same abilities you would use for a sploosh apply to the splash.

DUDE, you forgot to mention that you can short hop out of ink with no RNG, making it almost a mini-dualie roll
wait my brain is small explain again

Can you do the permanent ink brush next
Yeah
What are your thoughts on sub power up on this weapon?
That second game ws cray cray man...
DDee's X rank in Splatoon 2?!?!?
No wonder his mix-ups and movement's so good in Smash Ultimate! His play style make so much sense now.
*IT'S THE LEGEND HIMSELF*
i like to use the neo splash only bc i’m terrible with inkjet.
I've never seen a better player.

This is my main weapon, until the kensa splattershot pro came out
O-matics: least accurate shooter (Edit: close enough)
also O-matics: most accurate shooter
Actually Aerospray is more inaccurate in almost every way (The only exception is angle of shot deviation in the air).
Nate Wilson are you saying the Sploosh are the least accurate, and Splash are the most accurate? I really don’t know, I’ve never played Sploosh
Joey Perez the Sploosh is inaccurate but you don’t have to worry about it because it’s range is really short that you have to go up to your opponents and shoot them and all of your shots can’t miss your opponent because of how close you are to them.
Aw man I has hoping that said Sploosh
Hopefully I’m not trash for maining it for the first 2 months I owned Splatoon
What weapons do you recomend to use in competitive?
Where do you buy all those amazing pro controller shells from!!
I struggle with doing 180's in game. Could someone please tell me the optimal way?
Motion controls plus stick
@@ThatSrb2DUDE Thanks! Love the videos btw. Keep it up bro😁
How are you used to using the ZR button with your middle finger? Looks interesting.
I use index.
What comeback main do? I've never understood that
For the first 20 seconds after respawning you get one main of Ink Saver (Main/Sub) Ink Recovery Up Run/Swim Speed Up and Special Charge Up.
Gotta unlock it first *cries in deleted savefile*
Next Sploosh pls
Splash o matic is op
