Bravo! Une très belle composition de Jean Sevriens qui méritait d'être attribuée à Tatyana qui la sert avec brio !
I recommend classical guitarists listen to this suite with eyes closed (so there are no, shall we say....distractions). I also recommend they buy the sheet music and at least follow the score.
The writing of Jean Sevriens here is most interesting, and to a high standard. So I ask: Why don't we hear more recordings by others of the 'Suite Pour Tatyana'?
My conclusion: The emotional intelligence of Tatyana is simply off the charts, and in my opinion there is NO way even most 'name' guitarists would be able to extract the essence of the writing and capture the mood she has created here (especially in those first four movements).
I think she's one of a kind when it comes to interpreting modern pieces in the 'romantic' style, and the way she combines phrasing and dynamics here is extraordinary.
I'm also glad she recorded this video WHEN she did, with the music firmly under her grasp, and being able to honour the late composer in such fashion.

These Video Recordings are some of the best work that my ears hear. The Classical is very difficult to record and master them out, not to lose the Players delicate inflections and masterful techniques.
+James McCutcheon I agree. What I can't fathom is how good they sound through my current, extremely basic, speaker setup on my pc. It should sound compressed and bass-muddy but it sounds wonderful. I think fantastic music helps in that respect, as you listen to that instead of the quality of the sound.

Я сам играю, живу в Астрахани. Гитара мастера Акопова. Сильно оторвался от мира гитаристов. Благодаря Вам снова начал заниматься. Есть проблемы с техникой. Хотелось бы спросить о некоторых. Это вообще возможно? "Спроси Татьяну" смотрел, но понимаю, вернее догадываюсьо том, что и как смутно так как с английским не очень дружен. Буду очень благодарен, если откликнитесь
