I think I have watched every video featuring Stephanie on UA-cam. And I have been trying to work out why I enjoy her playing so much. Her technical skills undoubtedly, her ability to interpret a piece of music and to somehow get more from it than other players, certainly. But watching this concert has brought it to me; it's the way she communicates her joy of playing each piece. Thank you to Austin Classical Guitar for sharing this wonderful concert, and thank you Stephanie for sharing your joy.
To play Bach as effortlessly as Stephanie does is no easy feature. Superb technique and toneproduction! The future of the classical guitar is in very safe hands! Absolutely a very enjoyable experience to listen to the whole programme..❤
Awesome performance. Such proficient playing. 🎸 I also really like her speaking and smiles. It makes her performance so much more human and friendly, not just a clinical experience.
What an incredible concert Stephanie 🙏♥️so thankful I was able to at least see you live streaming tonight. So sorry wasn't able to attend in person. What a magical night you gave us all❤. Love your artistry Stephanie
Wow! I’m an old rock and roller from Austin, TX. I have only recently been enticed and enchanted by classical guitar. This monster talented performer is my long anticipated reward. I have no higher praise I can offer, honestly…
Stephanie the Australian pieces at the beginning are so delicious and make you feel mellow and calm so thank you so much for the whole concert it was a delight ❤️❤️❤️🎵🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thank you so much for the wonderful live guitar playing! I can't understand how such female fingers can so skillfully and professionally extract beautiful sounds!?!?!!! I'm thrilled!!! Thanks! I wish you love and happiness! Wonderful channel!🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
She plays beautifully. The guitar is very physical, and most players with this much technical command, have very large hands. Her hands are tiny, yet she plays with remarkable strength and facility, quite amazing, and lovely.
Totally emerged and transported by your concert. I have been watching you since your graduation concert, I already knew then you have what it takes to blossom in the world of classical guitar. Sky is your limit..!❤🎉
the guitar play Fernando mazza? italian luthiet? sweet tone and very good guitar its a arched body tipe australian school maker? wow Many compliments thank you😊
@@fabiojanchello4311 Double-top guitars are a German innovation (Dammann, Wagner and others). Maybe you are thinking of lattice-braced guitars which are an Australian innovation (Smallman and others)?
"Felicidade" do Tom Jobim foi um excelente "gran finale"🎉 mas o bis ficou mto singelo😮 de qquer forma eh sempre bom te escutar e saber q a turnê in USA é um sucesso😊❤
Stephanie's concerts are always entrancing. It's all there, the technique, fire, passion, and sensitivity- combining the techniques of Segovia, Paco de Lucia, Andy McKee and Tommy Emanuel. Does anyone have any info on the support she has for her guitar? It puts the instrument in what I consider the ideal position,.Also great to see a civilized audience, with no unseemly whooping I loved every minute.
@@gregarch07 Thanks for that. It seems to me that Stephanie now holds the guitar at a steeper angle than previously, almost as steep as Roxane Elfasci. I'll look into the guitarlift.
My Patreon support is well spent, Stephanie; You are so gifted. Hope you come back to the NW States. I live near Yellowstone National Park, but didn’t realize you performed in Bozeman. I absolutely love ‘Open Sky’… I go back often to watch and listen as you take me away to an imagined paradise. My large home is always available for an intimate concert should you ever return, though my wife and I are now 70. Admiration, Gregory Potter
She played almost the same program in San Francisco on Oct 7, and it was marvelous. (That program had an intermission, and included all four of Piazzolla's seasons, as well as a piece by her husband, Jakob Schmidt.) Her ability to deliver pieces in their proper rhythmic flow is amazing. For example, compare how she plays the Gigue from BWV1006a to that of the great David Russell (ua-cam.com/video/DZh8rcIkNEY/v-deo.html). Russell goes at it faster, but it sounds a bit labored and doesn't quite "flow". Hers has that steady 3/4 time roll, even as she adds more and more ornamentation. The same is true for Dyens' Felicidade, where she keeps the "bossa" swinging steadily through all the various sections and variations, which is so hard to do. Brava!
The visual dance you make facially to the guitar , as you flow to places only YOU can go is food for an emotional heart ...you show intimate passion to the instrument 🎸 you hold...you hold my mind in joy to see you so close to the frequencies, vibration ,the sound ...a visual feast to what you feed your mind soul spirit ...and you share far more than the music as it hold your heart and you smile quite often in performance. So so pleasing to almost taste your passion... Chow..4 now sweet bird u R..I'm that black cockatoo you love in spirit.. 💜❤️💜❤️ 🤍🐻❄️
I'd love to hear her arrangement of 'Passacaglia' by Sylvius Leopold Weiss. I think it's one of the most beautiful pieces ever written for lute / guitar. I'd also love to hear her arrangement of the popular filmic piece, 'Ashokan Farewell'.
A sparkling performance from a sparkling spirit. Always musical, never mechanical. A young master. Virtuoso performances of modern repertoiore.

Her guitar support is called guitarlift. I use it and it is very comfortable

Thank you for the wonderful swing in Jobims Felicide at 46:10!
Excuse me, "Felicidade" it is spelled! Many classical guitarists cannot inprovise, but I believe Stephanie can! Just wonderful!
What a superb performance! I hope you can make it to the Dallas area soon.
Power and precision
Bravissimo Stephanie! A very, very good recital. Is the Ukrainian piece published? Best regards from Cologne Wulfin
Adorabile ❤
