We were all once Judas before grace came in the picture. Many times in our lives we betrayed and sold out Jesus for the worldly things, Just like how Judas betrayed Jesus for money we have done the same in our own Selfish ways, wether that be money or other things. Judas is a representative of me and you. Even doe what he did was evil, if he had asked for forgiveness God would have still forgiven him but Judas failed to understand the meaning of repentance but instead clinger on to guilt which caused him to kill himself. Which is something a lot of us Christians do. We choose to not face the consequences of our actions instead we run away from it or make excuses. I no longer look at Judas as the bad disciple but as myself. For many of us claim to follow Jesus but when it comes down to it we sell him out for worldly things, just like Judas. Thank you Jesus for conviction 🙏🏾❤️ We can all blame Judas but each and every one of us played a role in the murder of our Lord Jesus Christ, including you who’s reading this. Our sins is what brought Jesus to the cross. Judas was just the bait to trick the devil into thinking he won. For God needed to catch the enemy by surprise for if the devil knew that Jesus death would save the whole world, he would of never killed him. Judas was very much needed as much as the 11 was.

All pastors seem to say that the anti christ will come from a place in Europe, but now think about judas, right there wit h our CHRIST, now I declare That JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD I'm just a sinner whose ask forgiveness thru our CHRIST JESUS
Jesus was a Jew who spoke too much at a time when he had to be silent and he paid for it with his life ... He is not God ... neither his son nor his uncle nor his brother .... he is just a human being who bleeds like any other person and dies like everyone else. God does not die on the cross and does not cry like a little girl that another god will help him until he dies ... You should choose such a new God that humans cannot kill again.

We have free will ... Even Judas have the free choice to betray Jesus. He made the wrong choice. But still then, betraying Jesus paved the road to Jesus being Crucified and dying for all sinners. Then Judas can repent for his sins. Because God is ever forgiving God. His story would have end differently. He could have been greater than Paul. The guy who betrayed Jesus , repenting and spreading the gospel would have been a great story. BTW, Love from Manipur India.
That was not his part. He was influenced by the Devil into doing it. If he didn't do it, somebody else would have. The prophecy didn't name Judas specifically, it just said He would be betrayed by one of His own. I also think Judas, like Matthew, Simon, Paul etc. could've been reconciled if he didn't kill himself.
You're still missing the point, whether Judas did it or someone else, God's will be done. It had to happen, we have to stop hating and appreciate why it happened
It's probly this part that's hardest to get over Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus 22 Now the Festival of Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching, 2 and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking for some way to get rid of Jesus, for they were afraid of the people. 3 Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve. 4 And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus. 5 They were delighted and agreed to give him money. 6 He consented, and watched for an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them when no crowd was present.
Judas NEVER Betrayed YHWH. The Bible explicitly says Judas was possessed by Satan & Christ himself commands Satan directly to work quickly. John 13:27 As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. So Jesus told him, “What you are about to do, do quickly.” Speaking to Satan... Human Judas regretted his actions, attempted to repent, returned the silver coins, and blamed himself for Christ's Murder. When Christ Decended to the Land of the Dead, he Released Judas from the grip of Satan. For Satan has No Power over Christ. Jesus took Judas to Heaven. Well Done Good and Faithful Servant, Well Done.
Insightful as this video is, does not explain why the Romans were after Jesus in the first place, let alone why the Jews were blamed for Jesus being crucified. Without going into scripture, where anything can be put together to justify any action, I believe that these following events led to the point of crucifixion. 1:- Jesus, being a child that maybe could not read or write, went to Roman Priests (who had spent years being educated and learning about the history of the Old Testament) and corrected them about what they learned (resentment would arise by being schooled by a little kid). 2:- Years later, Jesus came across a corrupt market that was under the control of the Roman Priests, he subsequently tore the place apart in his rage, causing the Romans more problems, which leads them to start setting up ways to capture Jesus without the multitudes of followers. 3:- Judas plays into the Romans hands and betrays Jesus, only to see the truth after his role had been played and angry mobs were going after those who followed Jesus, he discarded the money and could not see any way of seeking forgiveness, but what he never did was deny being a follower of Jesus, instead he took his own life in his sorrow. 4:- All through his life, Jesus had never called himself 'King of the Jews', that had been other people, and that was a main topic that Pontius Pilot had used against the people that had not listened to Jesus before, saying that Jesus proclaimed himself as 'King of the Jews' and wanting to rule over them, trying to convince the crowd that Jesus was going to be cruel, so Pontius Pilot gave the people a choice - either free someone who will rule over them with an iron fist or release someone who "accidentally" killed someone and regretted doing it (which was a lie), they chose to release the murderer, and had allowed the freedom to hunt down the followers of Jesus, those that stated they followed him were executed on the spot. 13:55 is where Peter is told that he will deny following Jesus 3 times before the cock crows.

I do believe that Judas was chosen to do the dirty work, and I believe it because he was chosen by our Saviour to be part of His disciples, another example of that is Paul if you remember he used to prosecute Christ's followers to get them killed, but, then the Lord said, that Paul would be an instrument for the sake of the spreading of the Gospel and as a result, Paul wrote many epistles of the New Testament...
The paradox of it all. God knew that Adam and Eve would sin. Jesus being God knew that he would be crucified and betrayed the moment he was born. In other words, God wanted Adam and Eve to sin and wanted Judas to betray his only Son. Mankind condemned Judas for being a traitor. We will all be judged in the same way we judge others.
juda being a traitor was important or the prophecy would've never be fulfilled Jesus probably would have never died teach you something that no matter what happend what obstacles in life their always a light at the end of the tunnel.

By fact that Judas sold Messiah for 30 pieces of silver is prerequisites for crucifixtion, salvation and eventually His resurrection. What could make difference was Judas’s attitude thereafter. Had he not hanged himself and committed suicide, Judah would witness what he had longed after, the saviour. Isn’t this similar circumstances as what his ancestor, Judah - Son of Jacob, has been through? Selling his younger brother as a slave out of jealousy? Yet as he repent and Judah made significant difference towards his father and brethens lateron, including protecting Benjamin when Joseph was pretending to enslave him In Egypt. Ultimately on Jacob’s deathbed, Judah was blessed abundantly in Genesis 49:8-12. Praise the Lord!
idk abt that last part of Judas...more like his too filled with guilt, loss and couldn't live with himself that he sucided? he may be one of the disciples ... but also the weakest of all to seek forgiveness/ atonement. that what he recoiled even from self preservation (esp his self interest expressed handling the purse stings)
Judas had to do what he did as per prophecy ... he had to be the bad guy . If he chose otherwise the prophecy would not have happened the way it was meant too.
At 18:50 the narrator said Peter cut off the ear of a lead soldier. In the Bible he did NOT cut off the ear of a soldier. He cut the ear off of Malchus. Malchus was a SERVANT (SLAVE) of Caiaphis. @@ginakelley749 he was judged by God, but should not be judged by mankind...rather it be a lesson for us to think about our own actions, and learn from it.

@07:05 What flickering scaly horned monster??
All my friends and family have betrayed me like Judas did to our lord. I forgive them but I don't want them in my life anymore thats forsure.
bible says that Judas was the Disciple that looked after the money bag for Jesus and the other disciple’s to buy what they needed like food. Judas stole from the bag and must have had a love 💖 of money 💰 I mean look 👀 at how he betrayed Jesus for 30 silver coins. This gave Satan a foothold into his life!!! This is what I believe. God bless everyone in Jesus name 🙏🕊💖
Thank you Jesus for conviction 🙏🏾❤️
We can all blame Judas but each and every one of us played a role in the murder of our Lord Jesus Christ, including you who’s reading this. Our sins is what brought Jesus to the cross. Judas was just the bait to trick the devil into thinking he won. For God needed to catch the enemy by surprise for if the devil knew that Jesus death would save the whole world, he would of never killed him. Judas was very much needed as much as the 11 was.
Do you really believe Judas betrayed Jesus? If Judas didn't do what he did where would Christianity be? He is the cause (creator) of of it.
Glory to Jesus!!!!!! Praise Jesus Forever Jesus is Lord. Jesus is awesome
I love Jesus so so much. Thank you Father for your love and mercy.

The guy who betrayed Jesus ,
repenting and spreading the gospel would have been a great story.

OH MY GOD I LOVE JUDAS SO MUCH!
Why do people still hate Judas? I mean the guy literally played his part well.
He did Gods will. If Judas didn’t betray Jesus would he still be crucified for our sins? Idk
In my view, Jesus was to be crucified for our sins just according to the will of God. There was no need for Judas to sell God.
It's probly this part that's hardest to get over
Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus
22 Now the Festival of Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching, 2 and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking for some way to get rid of Jesus, for they were afraid of the people. 3 Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve. 4 And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus. 5 They were delighted and agreed to give him money. 6 He consented, and watched for an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them when no crowd was present.
please use modern English version, other wise amazing!
HOW MANY JUDAS SMILE IN MY FACE TO TRY TO GET INTO MY HOUSE 🏠
I pray you forgive me for my sins. You are my savior Jesus Christ.
Without Judas, no crucifixion. No crucifixion, no resurrection. No resurrection, no SALVATION. Without Judas, the entire faith system falls apart.

Judas was just a poor soul, a victim a tool. DON'T Judge him DON'T hate him.
True
We will all be judged in the same way we judge others.
hahahaha LOL I thought God was speaking directly to me @ 12:59-13:00.
juda being a traitor was important or the prophecy would've never be fulfilled Jesus probably would have never died teach you something that no matter what happend what obstacles in life their always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Judas was the only member of the tribe of Judah ("Jew")amongst the apostles. The rest, including Jesus, were Benjamites. The weaknesses of Judah tend to be avarice and pride. The Benjamites the smallest tribe, lived separately, a good way from Jerusalem, on or near the western shores of the Sea(Lake) of Galilee.
Actually Jesus was from the tribe of Judah. This is why He’s referred to as the “Lion of Judah.”

The prophecy didn’t MAKE him betray Jesus. The prophecy was a prophecy simply because he was going to betray Jesus.
At 18:50 the narrator said Peter cut off the ear of a lead soldier. In the Bible he did NOT cut off the ear of a soldier. He cut the ear off of Malchus. Malchus was a SERVANT (SLAVE) of Caiaphis. The video also says he hit the helmet and the blade slid down to cut off his ear. The Bible never says this. Such an obvious error makes me wonder if I can trust GRACE DIGITAL NETWORK
Judas is not a traitor, God gave him that role inorder that the prophecy of Jesus Death will be fulfilled.Judas role is God's Will...

Jesus knew beforehand that Judas would betray him; Jesus also knew that Judas would be grief stricken for what he had done and end up hanging himself over it. Jesus could have just given himself up and spared Judas the grief and in turn, save Judas' life. Loving son of god? I beg to differ.
How did Judas spent the blood money and how did he die
@@samshamounthedog1420 As the story goes, Judas became remorseful of what he had done and attempted to return the money. However, the priests did not accept the money, so Judas threw it on the ground. He then hung himself.

@@samshamounthedog1420 You're very right, we do have a problem... Acts 1 verse 18 does say that. However, Matthew 27 verses 1 through 7 says that Judas threw the money at the priests, then went and hung himself. The priests then took the money and bought a potters field. So, either the all-knowing creator of the universe didn't care enough to get his story straight, or the bible was written by fallible men who claimed that a divine presence was guiding their hand.
