I booked Steve to do a cameo for my son a few years back. He went above and beyond, spending nearly 5 minutes talking to my kid about school, life, hockey, and just being the Steve-est Steve there is. Highly recommended, worth every penny.
Can I tell him to read a script verbatim? "Hello, my name is Steve Dangle. I absolutely love the Boston Bruins. They play smart, disciplined hockey. Brad Marchand is a role model for all the kids. They should emulate his skillful, gentlemanly style of play."
@cfloresphoto and still the jets will find a way to lose against them on the 23rd. Like they find different ways against the golden cheaters, although it was the refs that made it happen tonight
After one of Stolarz' saves he sort of double clutched over his right leg. I think he tweaked something (hamstring, maybe a slight groin.) With other top-five goalie Woll on the bench and at this point of the season there's no reason to push into an injury. Probably not out long-term. And sure, throw the kids in. Give them a look. Let's see what they've got and let's see what the team has in front of them.
i think patches deserves credit for adapting his game too, correct if im wrong but i dont remember him hitting this much in his prime, he adapted his game being a net front, hitting complementary piece to 2 really good players, all credit to him
@@nicholasdabruzzo1662 he talks about it actually, this was always how he played growing up just teams wouldn't want him to because he had skill. Now his left to his own game and you can see what he brings night in and night out, It is awesome
Not panicking, but the sudden shift in confidence with Stolarz possibly out for a bit tells me I've been masking my concerns about this team. Lets face it we've been squeaking by just well enough to kid ourselves about how strong this team is lol.
That will only work against jersey in jersey for obvious reasons. 1 for Sheldon keefe reasons 2 strange things happen at home for new jersey against the leafs causing them to loose. The jersey hat trrick is a thing too They mimic the oddity of leafyness more than theyed like to lol
My issue with Stolarz playing that game is that this is his first time as a starting goalie, so after your team hangs him out to dry in one game and he faces all those shots, it seems silly to risk it when you are heavily reliant on goaltending to win.
Having watched the Ducks almost as much as the Leafs, for Vatrano, yeah that’s a great scoring shot chance. He often scores goals on shots don’t seem like good chances. Yes, we (meaning me) do know of Jackson LaCombe. Y’all ought to be watching more Ducks games. They’ve got great talent. Individual efforts and skillsets make great plays in the game. However, they keep trading the majority of players with tenure, especially UFA, and most of those were the guys who knew how to pass and accept a pass. They’re getting better. Hopefully get they good enough to compliment their goaltending because Dostal and Gibson make a ton of saves every game.
Gotta feel it for Matt Murray. I feel like even last year when both our goalies were injured we only went with Martin Jones cause Murray was injured AGAIN during his opportunity to make his way back to the NHL. Brutal luck from him.
Hey Steve, you didn’t know about Milk and cookies….I just realized it’s a back to back this weekend ‼️ I knew there was Leafs home game Sunday and thought they had Saturday off….. and just got reminded of Detroit
Idk why this is on my mind but the dichotomy of buffalo and Toronto being right next to each other and being wildly different organizations is madness, on buffalo’s end. Edit: Buffalo, Buffalo’s
Excited I'm going to the Wings game Saturday. Also who thought Domi would not even be the best Max on the team? Also Pacioretty had 5 goals all of last season.
Top notch video as usual! My concern that Anthony started was not that it was back to back and how some have been saying he earned the next start it was NJ he was so good in got peppered you rest him against a bottom team and run him in a different game. I guess it could of happened regardless but not sure why you start him again against a nothing team
I've been out of the Marlie loop for a while now, do the Leafs still have Petruzzelli in the system? Could he be a call up for the leafs should they need a goalie?
On this being the best game the leafs have played out of their past 6: The Ducks have literally the worst xGF% in the NHL at 42% and were on the second half of a back-to-back with travel. Holding on for a one goal win doesn't sound like a strong game to me. Toronto has simply been bad at 5 on 5 since the Matthews injury and has been propped up by what is probably unsustainable goaltending. I don't think this game does anything to change that narrative.
How come I can't listen to your LFR anymore on small screen while I'm using my GPS? That usually only happens when I am listening to UA-cam music and not podcast. Can you explain Steve and or fix it thank you
So it begins. I said earlier the Leafs have an unexpectedly good goalie tandum. That will be great till they both get hurt. I give it another three games before Woll is hurt too. It's the Leafs, what do you expect?
Baby-brain is a lack of sleep. It will continue until that baby is sleeping fairly consistently through the night. Not much to do with age specifically.
Are we not going to start talking about the power play going into hiding again? While Matthews was out, it heated up a fair amount, but it's been regressing again - no?
You know your team is offensively snakebit when one of its best players whiffs two freebie empty netters. Good thing our goaltending is hot... Oh wait... Well they've still got one so it's probably fine... Yeah... Fine...
Ducks are rather obvious, for those that watch ‘em, for going after former players as much as possible. It’s almost like they get a memo directive from the GM for nipping at the heels or drawing penalties on players that have found some success after the Ducks let them go via either a trade or no offers for a UFA. In Fabbri’s defense, he did just have knee surgery two days shy of a month ago. So his balance might be off and going down to a sitting position might be to avoid the knees. So it might not be embellishment. I say that as someone who underwent surgeries on both knees as a preteen and teen and have had falls like that, minus the stick. In that shot he was the one holding, in my opinion, not Benoit. However, I do think having him play this soon after surgery is not a smart move.
"The schedule stops for nobody." That's right, and it's why hockey players are the toughest athletes. I remember someone told me MMA fighters are tough. Rubbish! When MMA fighters have a scheduled fight and they get injured guess what they do...reschedule the fight. Am I right or am I right?
