Hola Familia, We have been living in Mexico for almost two years now and Santiago de Queretaro was our home for over a year so we know Queretaro like the back of our hands. Although Queretaro was amazing, we decided it was time to move on to other cities in Mexico, so we can share what we learned with our valuable viewers. Our first experience came via Oaxaca City, but we soon realized that Oaxaca City wasn't for us (due to some unforeseen events that were out of our control). Make sure to watch our Oaxaca City video series showing neighborhoods, and a very detailed apartment tour. We left Oaxaca City and headed to the beach city of Mazatlan in the state of Sinaloa. Mazatlan was just what we needed in the short term, especially after our experience in Oaxaca. Even though Mazatlan was beautiful, we learned fairly quickly (after research/ groundwork), that Mazatlan couldn't be a long-term living option for us. We also have a series of videos showing you around Mazatlan, providing inside tips on the rental culture of the city, as well as sharing our personal reasons as to why we decided not to remain in Mazatlan long-term. Finally, the time has now come to share our new home base where we will be living long-term and sharing our day-to-day life/ insight with you. **If you are new to our channel, we have temporary residency here in Mexico and have been living in Mexico for a year and a half. Our videos will show you the best neighborhoods to live in Queretaro, the cost of living in Mexico, how to obtain your temporary residency, apartment tours, how to fly/ travel with pets in Mexico (documentation, etc.), vet expenses in Mexico, and some other great cities to visit, or possibly live in while you are over here in this beautiful country of Mexico. So happy for you guys finding your new spot in Mexico . Looking forward to your future videos exploring Aguascalientes,✨😊You both look much happier and relaxed now✨☺️
You guys look so happy and peaceful… welcome to you new home. I have heard great things about Aguascalientes but never been … looking forward to seeing videos of there 💗🥳
All right! Oh sounds great! Hope you are happy here! Nice hoodie, Steven :) Oh, and congratulations, you're a beautiful couple, even after almost a decade
Veey sweet of you, thanks Darkk Star. 💕 What we were joking about was man...if only people knew how old that hoodie was 😉 it has nibble marks from Joe Pesci (interestingly, he doesn't wreck a place BUT will drag our clothes, shoes, unmentionables from hamper onto the middle of the floor when we leave 🤔). 😄
@@WhyNotNow ohhhhh I assumed him grabbing his hoodie was in reference to an earlier comment he made in another vid about having difficulty finding clothes in MX that were tall enough for him. So I thought OH brand new hoodie :)
I'm sooooo stoked for y'all! I love that state so much. It seems like Aquascaliente is setting the example of positive things to come in Mexico. More jobs being created in auto manufacturing and tech. Multiple universities educating the future business leaders of the area. Clean streets, affordable housing for locals, incredible art scene...the state fair!!! Local companies paying a living wage, with benefits. A strong sustainable middle class. Not sure who is investing where, but it seems to be working. Enjoy your new home, you two! 🙏🙏🙏
I am so happy for the both of you. As you know, my husband and I are in the middle of selling 90% of our belongings right now to move to Queretaro on May 1st. We plan on visiting Aguascalientes, at some point, and hope we can meet up with you and have coffee. We love your videos and we are looking forward to our new life in Queretaro. Much Aloha Always!
Wow, this city was not even on my radar but I like the Goldilocks weather in those areas of Mexico but didn't want to be in a place that was too touristy or too big of a city. Now we'll have to check it out. Hopefully there are some RV parks since our first go-round will be in an RV.
OMG that's my home state, I love it. We are actually moving back in July, after over 30 years in the States, we are very thankful for all its opportunities but we now feel is time to go back. You should visit Calvillo, is a Pueblo Magico and while there go have some fish in La Presa de Malpaso. You'll love it. There is actually a community with mostly americans living there.
So glad you found a new home base! Aguascalientes who knew?! My husband and I are in Queretaro now, but Aguascalientes is definitely on our list of places to check out more, so we will be eagerly waiting for all your upcoming videos! Congrats on your anniversary too!
@@WhyNotNow We are really liking it! We've been here since October, and have seen many places. The weather is wonderful! We lived in Puerto Vallarta for 1 year, it was beautiful, however the humidity was too much for us.
Hey guys, thank you for the shout-out, it warms my heart, it would give me great pleasure to welcome you to my country. And yes, there's good and bad everywhere, I for one certainly appreciate your realistic perspective on life in Mexico. Happy Anniversary and much love to you both!
Hi Adriana! Thanks for your comment and words of support and love. 🌹 We don't know what the future holds...life is very short but what I do know is seeing other countries before our time is up on this 🌎 is very close to our heart. 🙏
Hi Adriana, Was just thinking of you over the last few days given all that has transpired with our brothers and sisters in neighboring Ukraine. I know Romania is amongst a number of countries in Europe recieving people who have been displaced, and providing help. 🙏 ❤ I thought to ask you how things are going in Romania? Mexico is receiving refugees from Ukraine as well thankfully. 🙏This is unfortunately one of many sad situations going on throughout this world (and historically). Hoping you are doing well through these difficult times.
@@WhyNotNow Hi Lisa and Steven, thank you very much for your message, I hope you are keeping well. I am OK, the only significant problems we're experiencing here are rapidly rising prices ( for food, petrol and gas ), the possibility of being attacked by Russia is slim to none since we are part of NATO ( thankfully ). There has been an influx of refugees but most of them are headed to other western European countries where they have family/ friends who can take them in; those who do decide to stay here are of course very welcome to do so. How are you doing? I know a family member passed away recently, my condolences for your loss.
We are good, thank you for asking Adriana. That is tough...presume prices are going up likely because of the sanctions, and limited availability. This obviously isnt making it any easier when families are already going through enough. We are happy to hear from you though. Our email states it id only for business inquiries but you can reach me there if you like. If you ever need/ want to talk, we can keep in contact directly this way. For some reason, I don't always get notified when someone responds to a message in the comments section (plus, the comments are public).
Whew! Im so glad to hear you are in a place that you love and it shows. Fun times coming to you. I considered Aguascalientes some years ago and now we get to share your happiness and your travels while you are living there.
Hi guys Charlie from Boston mass USA. Well I really never been many places except a few cruises mostly out of Boston but. Retired early a few years back US postal. So I am single and traveling alone. Tomorrow I will get on a plane out of New York heading to San Pancho Mexico by way of Puerto Valarta. If I’m honest I chose it because it looks like a sleepy little town and I’m a recent widower. I wasn’t up for the hustle and bustle I’m so familiar with ….I’ve been in Boston my whole life. I just wanted to say thanks for putting Aguascaliente on my list. I never heard of it. I’m staying for two weeks and if I love Mexico I will stay for 4 weeks my next visit, maybe eventually I will stay the winters. I love the genuine honesty and sincerity of your videos and I appreciate it. So many Others are just silly dreamers explaining how Mexico is marshmallows and Tra Lala Lala. It doesn’t give people like me an honest view of what it is like, and what to expect. I just wanted to say thanks and I look forward to seeing more of you beautiful town. Congratulations by the way happy anniversary😊
Hi Charlie, Thank you for such a lovely comment and for sharing something so personal. Our condolences on your loss. 🙏 We can only imagine how difficult that must have been/ still is. We are so glad to hear you find value in our content. That is why we do what we do, and why we work to set ourselves apart from other "influencers"; to be honest, I can't stand that word and don't see, or label ourselves as such at all. We are wishing you the best as you begin to travel and experience the beautiful country of Mexico. 🌹 Please let us know how you like San Pancho once you've had the opportunity to settle in.
Oh no Charlie. Im so sorry to hear of you wife's passing. Im glad you are traveling to find new and fun adventures. I lived in Boston but had trouble making friends. I was seen as "transient" because I was in the airline industry. It is beautiful but too cold for me. Getting out of the USA has been my goal for almost 15 years. Still have to work but when my debt is paid off Im outta' here.

That is an interesting move guys, I mean, I just realized that I don't now much about aguas calientes, how come I haven't seen any youtubers, influencers showcasing that city? Can't wait to see and find out more about aguas calientes, by the way, you both looks happy to finally settle down for a bit, all the best for your amigos. Greetings from Montréal, Canada.
I'm so happy for your guys. Your joys are so simple yet so rich. It's not about an obsession with expensive consumer items where you can never catch up to the Jones'. It's about interacting with your surroundings, interacting with good-hearted people, and saying, "Yum!" to churros, gorditas, tacos and aguas frescas. You're liv'n the life, both of you. Congrats man. Wow, I get happy just thinking about it. Salud!
Double Congratulations! on both your Anniversary and new home. Excellent choice. I guessed you would select that location, although I did not post a comment. I can honestly say I had narrowed it down to two places I thought you might be happy--Aguascalientes and Pachuca, Hidalgo. I didn't think you'd been to Hidalgo yet, as a lot of people don't, but it has such history, colonialism, lower cost of living, etc. but on a much smaller scale than Aguascalientes and is the capital of Hidalgo. I still think you should check out Pachuca (just for the heck of it in case you'd be drawn to a smaller capital) but I love Aguascalientes and they have the best feria in MX. It was in competition with QRO for us and for the time being we chose QRO. We are still discovering Aguascalientes so will be excited to see upcoming videos. Good luck with your new home!
Thanks Cindy. 😊 You knew us well. 😉 We were going to visit Pachuca awhile back but didn't have the opportunity; I can see it being a trip in the future. 🌷

@@WhyNotNow Hey thanks for asking we have awesome memories from all the places we have visited, even Mexico City was cool. We took some local Mazatleco friends with us to help with the translating and cultural stuff. It was an awesome city but not for me to live just to visit. We loved Guanajuato so much, maybe our favourite but there are so many amazing places to see. Depends on your interests…. You have to see the butterfly’s in Michoacán, don’t forget Pátzcuaro. Smell the leather in Leon, tour a tequila ranch in Tequila or Mazatlán 😉. We started Vacationing in Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding towns thinking nothing in life could top that but then we discovered it was only a taste of Mexico. I think you have discovered that. Looking forward to the next video explaining your criteria for choosing aguascalientes and how it's better for you two over queretaro. 👍 We'll be watching!
Great! I hope you go see Douglas Castle. I cant fault you for Aquascalientes. I do strange things in Mexico. I walked around the Nissan plant once. Aquas at least when i was there didnt have to many expats or tourists so cool. Glad your home
Thanks RepairDad. You know, we've personally seen a number of small to mid-sized restaurants selling various types of fish, and seafood here. I can't comment on a particular place as of now so with that said, I am opening up the floor to our viewers who really know about the seafood here to share any thoughts/ suggestions (who have reccomendations in ALL budgets). 😉
Awesome town , And Oaxaca is one of my favourites but I don’t have breathing problems I did notice on weather app it would say how bad the air is . Mexican street food is to die for and such great value for the money.
I look forward to learning about this city in Mexico I have never heard about. I am woking one more year, and then I will retire to beautiful Mexico. I need all the info I can get.
Hello guys, thanks for another video. We're planning to travel to Mexico for 3 month in late summer but we're beginnning our travel in early June. We will be curious to hear how you like May-July. We have eliminated it from our list just due to 3-4 months of heat like 86-89. Looks pretty nice the rest of the year.
Hi LA, If you recall in the video, (ua-cam.com/video/yR2dJVggq10/v-deo.html) we said we couldn't confirm if the ticks came from the Airbnb, or an outdoor area by means of walking into a tick nest (no, this wasn't the park we referenced in the video).
Very nice. 😉 You are absolutely right, there will always be things we will like/ will mot like anywhere in this world no doubt. If you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts, what are some of those things? Thanks for your comment 🌹
@@WhyNotNow well for us we end up staying with family in the residential neighborhoods there and heading to the ranch , or downtown. So maybe staying in a hotel downtown would be a different feel. For us we would have to drive out far to if we went out to eat and there is not much variety. We think there is a lot of graffiti maybe less than Leon or Oaxaca city. It does get hot there. We are more beach people. Air quality wise we feel better. The moisture from the ocean is better on the sinus. We are from Southern California and have Airbnb’s in Rosarito Beach Baja California. So we are back and forth every other week with in 2 1/2 hrs. It has its pros and cons too. But if you like San Diego weather and love fresh sea food you can’t beat it there. Plus we fly out of the airport there inTJ about 4 Xs a year. So it’s convenient too.
I went to the Atlanta Mexico Consul. Wow things have changed. She told me I need to show 500 times minimum wage income, at least $4,000 american dollars a month income, so I learned you have to bring a lot of money in to Mexico to get a temporary one year visa even.
Yeah, they raised it in January of this year from like $35K or something like that. This is why I need to jump on it before they increase it again, but all of the offices in TX are still closed!
@@craiggallup5706 if your talking about retirement I think she said 2,600 a month but, you have to show a certain amount regular savings in your bank account. I think I just got a little confused here because listening to what people say on u tube for example, say it's easy and inexpensive to go to Mexico to live. I was a little shocked when the atlanta consul showed me its much more difficult and expensive.

Gotta tell you, I'm feeling seriously "displaced," right now. I was in Ajijic for some months, nice little town, great weather. Tourist 180 was almost up, time to go because an immigration attorney told me I couldn't do the amnesty program. Back to the US. No actual home there. Back to Ajijic, no affordable rentals. Where to next? I got it! Merida! Hot! Hot! Hot! 🥵 Weird rental requirements, crooked agents, owners, it's their market, they know it. Sitting in a friend's Airbnb in Mérida at the moment, trying to find elsewhere. ( I'm paying of course.) The coasts are at times too touristy, sometimes too hot. Bigger cities, polluted. Retirement/snowbird areas like Lake Chapala, expensive rentals and homes. Guys, I'm tired, I need to settle for a while, like you I miss that "home," feeling. Additional comment.... Trying to find the Centro area so I can check out Airbnbs, so where is it? 🤔 This might work for me but gotta get boots on the ground first, which means Airbnb.
That does sound like a lot Terry...😤 Are you seriously looking to find Centro? You should be able to pop whatever location you want into the search field. I didnt know Merida was like that in terms of rentals etc ..
@@WhyNotNow yes, serious. Merida is a nightmare! Say you find a cool place for the equivalent of $500 USD, sounds great, right? But, then comes the required double deposit, and the attorney fee, typically, the same amount as your rent. So, even before you move in, it's $2,000 up front. Oh, and there's the twelve months thing, most landlords want that, no six months, or month to month. None of the chirpy, "This is SO awesome!" UA-cam channels ever mention those things. 🙄 They're like, "LOOK! We found this GREAT apartment for only $10,000 Pesos!"
@@terrycavender Unbelievable....that is disturbing. An attorney fee equivalent to a months rent..?? Required two month security deposit! What exactly are they calling this "few" and what is the purpose of it...? It sounds like big time "foreigner taxation". Plus, isnt that amount in rent already pretty good income for the landlords out there 🤔...a few years back, before the influx of people moving/ promoting the city, rents were going closer to 300 (USD comparison). for a decent place. 🙄 And they're doing the same as the real estate agents in Mazatlan are doing (we talked about that in couple of videos while in Mazatlan).
@@WhyNotNow ya I know! 🙄 I was told by a relocation service that they could get me something in the $300 to $500 range, with a pool no less. It seemed reasonable from the prices I saw last year, so I bit to the tune of $1,000 Pesos for the service. Got to Merida expecting a list of places to look at. We met, they had nothing! "We're waiting to hear back from our people." Right! Then why did we have a meeting if you have nothing to show me? Asked for, and got my money back. 👍
@@terrycavender Sorry you experienced that Terry. It is good you are sharing this experience with others so they can be aware. They are clearly taking advantage of people and it's just wrong.
We will share more info in the future on this topic however, the way we go about finding any apartments anywhere is to first, learn the area so not to overpay/ prices dont get hiked up (happens all over the world unfortunately) and secondly, do the old fashioned footwork; talk to/ ask locals, walk around looking for signs, you can also ask for a real estate agent to assist you but select very wisely.
The pollution goes all the way from Monterey to Saltillo down a large mountain valley between two mountain ranges so it's bad in both places. I personally know this because I drive the highway between the two cities about eight times a year.
@@WhyNotNow Lots of manufacturing in both cities and lack of pollution controls plus the mountains trap the smog into the valley picking the two cities.
You may want to watch our "Why We Chose Aguascalientes" video Shelia ua-cam.com/video/X3tY2ukMXHg/v-deo.html. Ultimately, only you know what works best for you personally
so I have a question is it true that when you go to Mexico or any part of Mexico or aguascalientes that you have to kind of be careful and kind of dress like you really don't have much because, my fathers side of family is from Aguascalientes calientes right now and he wants to for me my mom my daughter my husband and our four boys to go there to visit so he can meet my husband and his four extra new grandsons but he said where we go just to kind of make it look like we don't really have too much money and to dress like normal I guess normal clothes I don't know just like nothing fancy he said so I was just wondering I have a question I didn't get the chance to ask him why which I should have but hit me my mom haven't been on speaking terms for a while for a few years so I really haven't been able to talk to him misunderstanding and some stuff that had happened to him when he was here in the states and he had to go back to Mexico and a lot of stuff happened from that time till now so I was just had a question but are you guys look so beautiful so comfortable and you guys so lucky God bless you guys and to me it doesn't seem to go he said is true so I'm just asking her question that's all have a wonderful day and God bless you and your puppies and your hubby
Your father is probably just looking out for your best interest. We can only speak for ourselves, but we have lived/ traveled to a number of different places in Mexico and have been completely fine. It is just like in the U.S. (or anywhere in the world) where there are great, good, and sometimes not so nice areas. Just pay attention to your surroundings wherever you travel and use common sense (i.e. not flashing/ pulling out a lot of money in public etc.). Go visit and enjoy God bless you and your family as well. 🙏🌹
It is great that you are in Aguascalientes but maybe you shouldn't call it "home" quite yet. You kind of lock yourself in and it makes it more difficult to change your mind later. After six months, yes, you could say, it is home. Before that a lot could happen. But then what could go wrong in a city that has the National Museum of Death?
@@WhyNotNow You have chosen a very prosperous city, with a lot of high tech industries, and a Nissan car factory. Apparently there are a lot of Japanese engineers there. It looks to be a great choice. I like the fact that you have moved to somewhere that retirees rarely choose. A quick look at Numbeo shows rent to be 66% lower than in Querétaro, which is great if you have the same uality of life. At least you won't bothered at 7.00 in the morning by someone trying to sell you timeshare or a tour of the city.
@@rayvogensen2983 Hi Ray, That is the main reason we chose the city; because of the fact that the expat penetration is low. One thing about Numbeo, is it is only as good as the folks inputting the data (it is based off of anyone who simply wants to add info). We will be doing a video soon talking about our personal reasons for selecting this city.
@@WhyNotNow You are right about Numbeo but I also double check looking at Expatistan. When Numbeo first came out I did the prices for Chaves, Portugal. I actually went to our largest supermarket and wrote down prices for different items. Despite some errors you do get a general idea about different places.

Thanks Anita. 🙏
We are close to Queretero and love it here. You may, too. Safe travels and welcome soon!
How beautiful! Thank you for sharing; we definitely plan to check out Calvillo. Appreciate the suggestions. 🙏🌹
So glad you found a new home base! Aguascalientes who knew?! My husband and I are in Queretaro now, but Aguascalientes is definitely on our list of places to check out more, so we will be eagerly waiting for all your upcoming videos! Congrats on your anniversary too!

Very nice Susan. It really is a lovely city and there are a good number of places to visit within a couple of hours.
Hi Kelly, Hope all is well. Thanks for your well wishes. 😊🙏

Many beautiful memories. Can you tell… “I love Mexico” 😊
@@tompopowich8110 That sounds amazing Tom. What are some of your favorite/ least favorite cities and why? We would love to hear your thoughts/ experience.
I am enjoying your experience and excitement of what we enjoy too. I have only heard about Aquascalientes and look forward to you showing me around.
@@tompopowich8110 We loved Guanajuato too. I remember when we visited, it was drizzling that night and the streets were still full of life and the smell of s
food carts filled the air. We stopped to take a picture by the famous "alley of the kiss". We watched as each couple went to the top of the stairs for their moment...it was lovely. 🌹 We also visited Leon (twice) and loved the city as well. I will put the links to those videos below if you are interested in watching them. All I know is that every time we think Mexico has surpassed our expectations, it just keeps surprising us. 💕

Congratulations guys!! Great choice IMHO :-)
Thanks Stacie. 😊
This was ALSO not on our radar - must learn more! LOL
You guys are very welcome to Aguascalientes... I hope can show you places around are considered Touristic and not Touristic that you may love it
Hey! Been following you two for a while now, but only just got around to subscribing. Keep up the good work - your channel is def one of my favs for expats in mexico.
My wife and I are deciding whether we want to make that move, and have been eyeing Queretaro.. but now I'm gonna do a deep dive into aguascalientes to see how that might look 😆.
Looking forward to the next video explaining your criteria for choosing aguascalientes and how it's better for you two over queretaro. 👍
We'll be watching!
Welcome to our YT family Rocky (and wifey 😉). 🌹 We appreciate the support. 🙏 We will be doing a video on why we selected Aguascalientes soon.
@@WhyNotNow excellent, we'll be keeping a look out!
Great! I hope you go see Douglas Castle. I cant fault you for Aquascalientes. I do strange things in Mexico. I walked around the Nissan plant once. Aquas at least when i was there didnt have to many expats or tourists so cool. Glad your home
Hi John, 😊 Thanks for sharing. Will have to look that up...haven't heard of it..
Aw, you two are so cute! I so enjoy your videos and seeing your "friendship love." Is there an Expat community?
🙏 Honeybee. The expat penetration here is very low. We will be doing a video on the reasons we chose Aguascalientes as a homebase soon. 😉
Thanks for the great videos! What about the food there? Can you get a good selection of seafood like Mazatlan?
Thanks RepairDad. You know, we've personally seen a number of small to mid-sized restaurants selling various types of fish, and seafood here. I can't comment on a particular place as of now so with that said, I am opening up the floor to our viewers who really know about the seafood here to share any thoughts/ suggestions (who have reccomendations in ALL budgets). 😉
Awesome town , And Oaxaca is one of my favourites but I don’t have breathing problems I did notice on weather app it would say how bad the air is . Mexican street food is to die for and such great value for the money.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Luke. 😊
I look forward to learning about this city in Mexico I have never heard about. I am woking one more year, and then I will retire to beautiful Mexico. I need all the info I can get.
This city was just added to my list. Would love a comparison with Querétaro
More to come in the future. 😉
Hello guys, thanks for another video. We're planning to travel to Mexico for 3 month in late summer but we're beginnning our travel in early June. For my Spanish immersion classes I think Mexico will be the place for me but I'm not sure if I should apply for residency now if we plan to be out of the country in 3 months. I think I saw we eventually need to return to the States for the interview.
Thanks for sharing your appreciation of our creative work. 🙏 Not sure if you've already seen our two part step-by-step residency videos but I will put the links below for you. I am also working on a "how to renew residency" video which will be released soon.

We were in Aguascalientes for a few weeks earlier this month staying in Barrio San Marcos, I wonder if our family paths crossed at some point.
Hi Carmelle, Very nice:-). You never know:-).
Bienvenidos a mi hermosa tierra
🙏 Tomas.
I really like to visit there. Can you go to the hot springs there?
You're in hot water now! Sorry, I couldn't resist...;)
😄💕
We will be curious to hear how you like May-July. We have eliminated it from our list just due to 3-4 months of heat like 86-89.
Looks pretty nice the rest of the year.
We will definitely be sharing as we continue to get more familiar with the city.
I guess Aguascalientes is now like Querétaro 10
Years ago when it comes to prices and tranquility ..do u feel it like that ?
Hi Joqain, Cant say like 10 years ago but, we will definitely be evaluating all those things. 😉
😍
Did you guys ever check out hualtuco?
HI Dawn, No, as mentioned in the video, we were in Oaxaca City.
Is that the park where your dogs got all those bugs?
Hi LA, If you recall in the video, (ua-cam.com/video/yR2dJVggq10/v-deo.html) we said we couldn't confirm if the ticks came from the Airbnb, or an outdoor area by means of walking into a tick nest (no, this wasn't the park we referenced in the video).
My father started the family is from aguascalientes
That’s where my husband is from. All his cousins and their families are still there. There’s things I do and don’t like.
What is the Atlanta level for temp and perm residence if applying based on bank money rather than income?
@@craiggallup5706 if your talking about retirement I think she said 2,600 a month but, you have to show a certain amount regular savings in your bank account. I think I just got a little confused here because listening to what people say on u tube for example, say it's easy and inexpensive to go to Mexico to live. I was a little shocked when the atlanta consul showed me its much more difficult and expensive.

Apartment tour and cost?
Hi Marion, That will come down the road.
How would I find apartment rental listings for Aguascalientes?
We will share more info in the future on this topic however, the way we go about finding any apartments anywhere is to first, learn the area so not to overpay/ prices dont get hiked up (happens all over the world unfortunately) and secondly, do the old fashioned footwork; talk to/ ask locals, walk around looking for signs, you can also ask for a real estate agent to assist you but select very wisely.
The pollution goes all the way from Monterey to Saltillo down a large mountain valley between two mountain ranges so it's bad in both places.
I personally know this because I drive the highway between the two cities about eight times a year.
Wow....really Rod..? Yikes. 😗 Wonder why it's so bad...
@@WhyNotNow Lots of manufacturing in both cities and lack of pollution controls plus the mountains trap the smog into the valley picking the two cities.
@@BuceriasRodHardy Ahh...thanks for sharing Rod.
Is it good for a retired woman? I am looking for a safe, inexpensive place that has other Americans I can meet.
You may want to watch our "Why We Chose Aguascalientes" video Shelia ua-cam.com/video/X3tY2ukMXHg/v-deo.html. Ultimately, only you know what works best for you personally
Hotels and Air BNBs have to guarantee you don’t get stuck with a cold shower in Aguascalientes.
😁
well guys my name is alejandro i live here in aguascalientes and you got a frend here if you want to come to my house you wiil be very welcome
Hi Alejandro, Thank you
so I have a question is it true that when you go to Mexico or any part of Mexico or aguascalientes that you have to kind of be careful and kind of dress like you really don't have much because, my fathers side of family is from Aguascalientes calientes right now and he wants to for me my mom my daughter my husband and our four boys to go there to visit so he can meet my husband and his four extra new grandsons but he said where we go just to kind of make it look like we don't really have too much money and to dress like normal I guess normal clothes I don't know just like nothing fancy he said so I was just wondering I have a question I didn't get the chance to ask him why which I should have but hit me my mom haven't been on speaking terms for a while for a few years so I really haven't been able to talk to him misunderstanding and some stuff that had happened to him when he was here in the states and he had to go back to Mexico and a lot of stuff happened from that time till now so I was just had a question but are you guys look so beautiful so comfortable and you guys so lucky God bless you guys and to me it doesn't seem to go he said is true so I'm just asking her question that's all have a wonderful day and God bless you and your puppies and your hubby
Sorry for the spelling it's my voice speech thingy
Don't worry Ray, everything will be alright. 😁 Good one on the National Museum of Death...😉
@@WhyNotNow You are right about Numbeo but I also double check looking at
Expatistan. When Numbeo first came out I did the prices for Chaves, Portugal. I actually went to our largest supermarket and wrote down prices for different items. Despite some errors you do get a general idea about different places.
