Hello Nick... The pentatonic was one of the first scales I learned when I started my path from playing classical music to playing jazz improvisation many years ago. I downloaded your first Pentatonic exercises last Winter and as a tenor player, have found them very useful for furthering my technical development and ear training. This video is very good. I love the way you use graphics, animation and videography to present your material. Very good production my musical friend. As I have stated previously, your tone and intonation on the Soprano is excellent. I know you put a lot of work into these practice resource videos and I can appreciate the time you spend wood shedding on your axe. I can hear it. Thanks Nick.... Jacohlamusic

I sit around during movies with my guitar and find most themes are from simple pentatonic notes over DRAMATIC chords...and I sit back amazed as my wife will tell you.

Beautiful sounds, you sound so good on that soprano! I'm still , with patience, waiting for bass parts on the Trane Penta but I'll happily wait a little longer if you could provide them with this package as well;)

Are you playing the pentatonic in fourths?

Eb major pentatonic starting on C, the less rigid name for this cell.

I didn't know what and "add 9" chord was. It's just a triad with a 9th added, right? No 7th, which would just make it a standard 9th chord. I leand something every day.

In fact he’s already done a tutorial on Trane and this scale. The Tranes (both John and Alice) have whipped this stuff to death.

Please consider posting on alternative platforms also. Big Tech is controlling all discourse and silencing independent journalism we need to not give away our power to have a voice. Minds.com is great. Also consider Bitchute, LBRY, and IPFS. ✌

Your videos are good....but not very informative and detailed.....it just skims over theory and not get into the absolute minute details of how you come up with the chords or what exactly your thinking process is

"you can never look at the absence of something and feel good.
you cannot look at lack and be in alignment
you cannot criticise and be in alignment with who you are'
put simply , if you learn to appreciate, instead of focus on fault,
      your life will be happier.
