Even easier tutorial:
Make a salt lick, a brush and a saddlehorn
Feed him when he begs, stop when he farts
Brush him and feed him some twigs/grass when you want to ride him
Ride him a lot to get a faster one, fight with him a lot to get the strong one, feed him a lot to get the happy one
fast beefalo: 25 dmg, fastest
strong beefalo: 50 dmg, throws you off sometimes
happy beefalo: 20 dmg, sanity
default beefalo: 34 dmg, faster
normal saddle: fast, 5 uses
war saddle: +16 dmg, 8 uses
glosamer saddle: fastest, 8 uses

I always get Pudgy. I keep stopping when it farts so it constantly gets fed over 50%. I like the sanity bonus plus with Glossomer Saddle it's not that slow. Also you were right about the "die in the most ridiculous way possible" The first beefalo I domesticated was in her period and attacked the koelephants in my koelephant farm and got killed by them :(

Yeah, I know I am yet to upload Easy Meat part 2. But thought this was the priority since Beefalo taming is still rather new feature without much video/tutorial about it. I was surprised when so many people asked how to ride Beefalo after I uploaded pvp video few weeks ago.

I wanted to add a very nice extra hint for the video:
It is important to keep noted that you get "tamming points" every 10 seconds while the beefalo is fed OR while riding it.
This means that you can actually fully tame a beefalo for a way lower ammount of food (aka twigs and grass) if you ride it always when its stommach is not full (aka riding it while it is starving gets it tammed just as much (lol)).
So, I did some very hard to comprehend maths and found out that you could actually fully tame a beefalo the fastest way by only using roughly 12 twigs a day (actually 11.5).
The way to achieve this is to not feed more than the obedience limit, while keeping its obedience over 50%.
- A good strategy for this is to keep riding it untill it does not allow you to ride it anymore (after it shake you off a couple of times), when this happens, feed it 5 twigs (for +50 obedience) and keep riding it again. And whenever you need to leave the beefalo for a couple more than 10 seconds, make sure it is at least feed, so you don't lose obedience in the meanwhile.
P.S.: I am still trying to figure out the scale of how much obedience is lost for each day the beefalo is not fed, but it seems like (from what I read) that the longer it did not get tamming points the faster it loses them. In this way, maybe it could be possible to greatly delay the lost of domestication by feeding it (or riding it) once in a while (like feeding it once per day maybe could delay it 400%?).
If anyone have any information about this, I would love to read about it.

And I personally could really use this as a reference about learning how to give a good and fast explanation about something. Ofc you jump a lot of details (that actually makes the video even more funny), but not explaining these details actually seems to help to keep fresh in mind the actual important parts so people can actually have a complete glimpse of the main thing before trying to find out the other details by themselves.

A small little guide because these people overcomplicate things:
As James Bucket says, you can gain domestication by riding. But this increase in domestication will keep going up even if the beef is starving. So keep riding it.
No, you don’t need 2 stacks of dragon pies.
Feed the beefalo grass or twigs every time they buck you off. Easy to do.
Be sure to make beefalo bell to leave the beefalo somewhere for a short time.
And that’s it! Hopefully this helps someone out there! ^_^

Jonathan Aguirre don't go for huge risks, like taking down one of the Beefalo's, I had a successful world, until I got cocky and tried taking down a Tallbird that ended up killing me
Airhead Approaches i tried to kill a tallbird with half health because in my previous world they were in a meteor field so they always had like 10 hp but him being at full was something i didnt think of so i died
If you play DST set up base next to the portal and play in Endless. ( And if you're not above it you can just reroll if you die )
And if you don't cheat and play DS, be super careful, make meat effigies, and don't take risks unless you can afford to die ( ie there's a touchstone or meat effigy and you can get to base from it )

Have you tried to use the construction amulet on the glossmer saddle to cut the cost to 34 butterfly wings and the deconstruction staff to see if you get 68 wings back? Just wondering
of course, that's the same method I use on thulecite suit to get loads of thulecite. With only 3 thulecite and 2 nightmarefuels, you can end up with 15 thulecite and 10 nightamrefuels.
