I know you said in the beginning of this project that body and paint guys probably need to turn this off, but for a person who has never done it you did pretty good. Color looks amazing and the flake outdid the paint job. Next time remember to spray past what you are painting. The gun sprays different right at the beginning and you can get a big blob of It when you first start spraying.

not to knock him. but when you have money. you can fix your mistakes. and it helps its on his personal forklift. sooo he can let things slide just a little. if it was for a customer. he would be all over it to perfection. he really takes pride in his stuff. especially when it on your dollar.
The most satisfying feeling is after doubting yourself during the process, but then seeing just how freakin good you did! From what I see that paint job came out awesome!!!
My dad was a paint & body man. He owned his own shop and taught me how to paint with flakes. I did my bike and all my friends bikes and that was in the 70's and i was 14 years old.
It really did turn out great. Watching these forklift videos finally motivated me to finally pull the trigger on purchasing my powder coat system. I'm excited. Great video!
I've been spraying my woodworking stuff for years and switched to a product similar to that stuff just for wood. I've been spraying it for 2+ years and it still kicks my ass some days.

It turned out pretty good considering but might want to invest in a better gun. The upgraded gun makes a huge difference. Spray pattern and air to paint blend helps too.

When you go to wetsand the clear coat just be careful to not wetsand too far. With heavy flake like that when you go down to far you can end up hitting the pieces of flake. And once you do that they will lose their color and turn silver. But coming from someone who does this daily, you did one hell of a good job especially for your first time.👌🤘
Hey brother i worked a lower end shop for awhile. when we did flake we used normal grocery bags and hung them up all over. Reason being is the bags have some static attraction and will pull some of the flake out of the air. this way years from now you are not still seeing flake and paint in the air. lol Love the content its a bit of everything!!
Put the forklift on a shirt / jacket would be a rad design , great work on the painting for the first time, I personally miss shooting paint but I get to look out a window for work lol

I admit I was not a big fan of the color you chose but after you applied the color purple with the flakes made it look cool! Nowadays lift kit with bigger tires! Next thing install a back to back L.E.D. bar lights on top with yellow caution cop lights on top too! Put two L.E.D. lights upfront for driving and positioning the forks into the pallet because the lighting behind your shop is not well lighted! SAFETY IS JOB ONE!
You needed Bondi glaze it's a lot lighter used for fine use after the bondo is set surprised the paint shop didn't try selling you it cause usually to new painters they pile on the product's
Looks good. Thought i wouldn't like it, but I'm actually surprised. Not bad for a rookie! Still see some stripes but the flake hides a lot. Sanding and a buff will take a lot out of the orange peel!

Need to put a piece of tinted poly for the roof. That way you can still see through it and it won't rattle.
i use poly for homemade windows and then use rubber trim around so it doesnt rattle and its waterproof
