thanks for the trip down memory lane. from 05-16 my family went to LV at least 20 times before my girl went to UCDavis & we moved to Clovis. We've stayed at MGM at least 8 may be 10 times. I knew this buffet very well. Usually we stayed for 3nights and we would eat breakfast and sometimes dinner there. I don't gamble. We go to LV bc my girl got bored with Disneyland, praise be the Lord, and discovered Cirque du Soleil. I spent a fortune on Cirque du Soleil shows but it 's worth it. As for the buffet I notice that straight up the walk way and to the left into the buffet from the cashier, there used to be 2 aisles of food. they were gone. anyhow thank you for the review. i doubt i''ll ever go back to LV now that i don't live in Lancaster
That food looks like it has lived a long life. Not appetising for the price. I do not understand why anyone would pay that price. I stayed at MGMG and never once considered the pigs trough buffet. I wandered across to Park MGM and fresh coffee and then had the $4.99 breakfast special in Blondies at Planet Hollywood with extras as its 2 eggs and 2 bacon or 2 sausage but i wanted both and it was around $10 + $3 drinks.

Thanks for the info! I could tell that the area to the left had to have been remodeled at some point, but I never went there prior to the pandemic.

We enjoyed your review
Why pay a tip, when its self service?.
They still have servers who bus your table while you are there. But yeah... getting your own drinks really does feel like a step down in service.
I bet this food really was better than it looks.
Thanks!
