I have aftermarket led headlights the one's with led lights along the bottom as well look real good on my 2002vy Ute.It's a V6 but I have chucked 1:9,1 ratio rockers & MSD twin coils & leads,Cold air induction.
@@PeelOutGarage I heard back from Magnum Tuning in USA.They reckon use the drop list with age of bike so I did 2022 & said it was ok but when I out right asked does it work on Euro 5 I got the same answer.Cost $306us might want to look at it yourself & talk with them.In the photos there was a hand held device & looks legit.I would correspond with them explaining your cut out situation you had earlier & if device is Euro 5 compatible.

I have a question, I have similar headlights in my vx commodore, and when I flick them to high beam, my low beam lights go off. I'm not sure it that is normal or not? Also, I'm trying to wire up a light bar on my vx commodore but can't work out how to wire it up.
I have these headlights on my car, with led parkers and have halo working aswell. If you know how to wire you just wire up 5w load resistor to parker wires and it will make led parkers work with halos. Hope this helps!
Thanks mate yeah I did hook up a resistor off camera but it burnt it out in saying that I did think the resistor should have worked as it would apply the load required but I was concerned they might have been using the element of the original globe to feed power to the halo which if that was the case a led wouldn't alow the power to pass through I'll try another resistor when I get the chance thanks.
@@PeelOutGarage ah yeah my one started smoking first try when i did my load resistor then i realised i used a 25w resistor not a 5w 😆 soon i changed to 5W it worked with no issues. Hope yours gets sorted bro 👍
Can u tell me how to exactly to that pretty please because I do have that problem where I can’t run led Parker lights with my halos and I don’t know anything with electrical
Hey mate I’ve just brought the same headlights and put them in my vx stato, have the same issue with the lil park LEDs did you find out how to fix it and stop them from flickering?
I've got halo led lights in my vy but wen I bought the car i think the bloke kept the remote for them how can I use them well ive never seen them work they don't turn on with my head lights how do I get them to work?
Hey mate sorry for late reply the earth can go just about anywhere I just put mine under the bolt hole under the headlight bracket in the bottom corner

All depends on your exact problems you are having there mate if your keen at giving it a go diagnosing yourself then I'd say be prepared to buy few tools to help diagnose the problems your having if not maybe find a good mechanic.
@@PeelOutGarage I’m thinking it’s the pump that’s dead as it’s trying to turn over but won’t fully start the car and throttle body needs a cleaning job as it’s never been cleaned from day one
Silly question, have you checked all the fuses? Doing a pump on a commodore is a real pain in the back side, it’s not a “hard job” but it is annoying. You also need to get some EFI fitting tools to drop the tank out. And be careful because the break fairly easily

I actually found a dyno tuner in Melbourne that can do euro 5. He flashes the stock ECU and then tunes it over 1-2 days
The only down side is I can not adjust it myself in the future.
