Totally agree. Plus many engagement rings are not re-sold. They’re not like watches. I’m about to buy one cause I can get more weight for the money. 2.00 carat lab grown vs 1.00 that’s real and comparable cut and clarity. So why not go bigger but lab grown. Same carbon atoms at the end of the day.
Why would you tell people to just stick with the real mined diamonds? Lab grown are made of "Carbon" like a mined diamond, therefore it's real. You're NOT the one paying for it! What do I care about resale value, once it's on my finger it's STAYING there. Guys, if you want her to be happy or say "Yes" I'd suggest staying clear of cubic zirconia. What confuses me as that some sellers refer to the same item as lab diamonds and CZ. E.g. "Lab diamond cross" then when you look at description says stones: cubic zirconia
1:44 Correction: a natural diamond takes millions of years to _surface_ after being formed. The actual diamond formation process is nowhere near that slow; AFAIK it's estimated to be a few months to a few years for typically sized diamonds.
Lab diamonds are now being sold by De Beers at $800 a carat. I don't think there is still any resale value back to jewelers but there would probably be resell value to the general public who don't mind wearing used jewelry or precious stones. Besides if a jeweler takes a trade in of a mined diamond that jeweler is going to resell that used diamond for a far larger price so I don't see a difference.
Thank you for briefly mentioning that Cubic Zirconia and Lab Diamonds are NOT THE SAME THING. I was so confused the other day when my CZs came in. I had to do some research.
Even though I know that CZs are sometimes marketed as Synthetic Diamonds, Diamond Substitutes, or Diamond Alternatives, they are still not the same as Lab Diamonds. CZs are much cheaper.
Keep making these. Ive seen em all several times. There are a lot of novice jewelry enthusiasts that have nobody that connects with them like u do. Not to say ur a novice jeweler but u are very relatable to regular guys like us. My safe has a nice little collection that I add to yearly as an investment and ur vids help out a lot.
Lab diamonds are real and you recommend going real because you would like to profit and lab diamonds are more perfect and resell is going to be the same if anything more valuable then real and stop saying real it’s a diamond
Lmao. This has to be a joke. Hey, bud. Look at the price of lab grown diamonds just a short time ago. Way higher than they are now. They're much cheaper now. Now! Look at the price of diamond, it has actually increased recently. So wtf are you talking about? But you're correct in saying that it is diamond. It's literally diamond. So yeah, there's that lol
Natural diamonds unless your are in the industry or buying in wholesale you will never get a return on a diamond unless it’s large carat size and flawless color and cut. For the average person there is no resell value on any diamond lab or natural. With that said lab diamonds will continue to become cheaper and cheaper as production techniques improve and scaling increases

Ok, So... by a diamond that cost 10k (mine diamond) vs the same diamond for 6k (lab diamond)? you can expect to get 20-45% of the original retail price if you try to resale the mine diamond vs 0 on the lab diamond. AT the end of the day it breaks even "if you are going to get a new diamond in the future, if not go with the lab diamond, you will save 40%. SHE IS NOT SUPPOSED TO SELL THE DIAMOND ANYWAYS!!!!
Is there any difference in inclusions when comparing natural to lab grown diamonds? Are they made without any inclusions at all?Or just very few? My engagement ring center stone is GIA certified as VS1. But I had another jeweler look at it. They did the test with the radar thing to see if it was real after putting it under their special microscope. They didn't do an official appraisal but they said it looks like it should be graded higher. At least a VVS1 or possibly an IF due to the level of sparkle and the fact that they could only find one minor inclusion, which is on the surface. It almost seems like the stone is too perfect. So now I'm wondering if it is natural or lab grown. I'm wondering if maybe the jeweler priced it as a natural diamond instead of discounting it for being lab grown. Or if it is a natural diamond that was discounted by mistake and misgraded.
I saw this one website called shop 6 Ice and they have chains that are 300 dollars and it says they are lab simulated vvs diamonds, what do you think about this?
Lab diamonds are mostly cz being passed as a "synthetic diamond". Synthetic diamonds are made in a lab and that's what you mean by lab diamond. Moissanite is the next best thing. They have more fire than a diamond and almost the same hardness with a rating of 9.5 on the hardness scale. Sometimes they do in fact test as a real diamond on certain diamond testers... but there are newer testers that can distinguish the difference the two
The Original Wilson Bro thank you for writing exactly what i was thinking. im new to jewelery so im not 100% on this but i thought moissanite was like the next best thing you can get if you cant afford diamonds. Then (lab made?) white sapphire would be after that. I dont know if you can get real natural white sapphire for a reasonable price or not because that would be my next option after diamond actually. Also when i type in lab diamond chain on ebay i usually just see very cheap piece with cz stones so unless im missing something, moissanite is the way to go as far as the highest end white stones correct?
The Original Wilson Im actually planning on getting a tennis chain made by a jewelery shop on ebay using solid 10 or 14k gold and need to substitute something for the diamonds and would like to go with the highest end stone i can afford so your reply will really help me out.
bret henry cz's are bottom feeders. Lab diamonds are not cz's. L.D.'s are made with the same material as naturals. Now white sapphire is in fact in 2nd place after natural diamond and lab after those. Everything else is shit
camille fuentes lab diamonds are the same exact property and make up chemically as a Earth grown diamonds so they test exactly the same on regular earth grown diamond testers.
A natural diamond doesnt take millions of years. It is possible to form in months in natural conditions. A lab diamond takes 1 month to 2 weeks to make. Lab diamonds are laser engraved as well just like natural diamonds so they can be identified.

Is a sythitc diamond the same as a lab diamond I just wanna know cause I had my eye on this grillz and they said it's 14k plated gold I'm thinking about getting it
@perfectdiamond32 because diamonds originally were worth so much because of how rare they are hence diamond mines etc. but if you can just make them they're not rare anymore. Like if people started making/printing their own usd the dollar would inflate/be worth less. If we could make our own gold it wouldn't be worth shit because no one would buy when they could just make it themselves. Diamonds are still worth something now but once technology gets better and it becomes easier to make diamonds the value will decrease.
+Ram Money they pride themselves as having high quality gold plating for their pieces. Some designs I like and some I don't care too much for. To me it just looks like the typical cheap jewelry. At the end of the day, I do feel they have some good stuff if you're looking for plated gold jewelry.
It's all about trust when buying jewelry. You have to trust your jeweler. You could have the same chance of buying a fake diamond in a store as online.
Hey bro i Bought a 14k curve from you . And I only word on the weekends I still wear 10k gold chain , it's cheaper and to me I wear it every day work basis. I just wouldn't want to lose or get it Ruined on where I work at so I wear my more valuable necklaces on the weekends I'm guessing that's the best way to take care of something ha
I thought a lab diamond is the way to go. You said the price difference is not that much, but say you want to buy a diamond. You can get a natural diamond that may have inclusions and say G color for example. Is it true, For the same money, you could get a flawless lab diamond in a whiter color, like E?
StormzYLive Depends on the level of test… With the diamond tester yes it will test positive but if you send it to a lab to be tested they’ll say it’s clearly not a Earth grown Diamond.

Natural/Earth Created or Lab Created, it’s still 100% a diamond. I personally haven’t ever and wouldn’t ever buy lab just because of investment/long term value. IMO natural diamonds will always keep more value
if it's gold, then it doesn't tarnish at all. doesn't matter if it's yellow gold, rose, white, or black or green gold (joking). one of the reasons gold is precious is because they never rot or get old and ugly.
coolguyabc21 some gold can tarnish if around heavy sulfur !! My cross turned bronze from sulfur 8 hairgrease running down my neck at night!! No joke 14kt
Where does the term "Blood Diamonds" come from? Was there a Huge war in Africa over Diamond? Were People held Captive and place in slavery to farm Diamonds??
I was told by a jeweler that they use the shavings and scraps of real diamonds after they cut their diamonds and use those to make lab diamonds. Is this even possible? Sounds sus
Michael Senchy actually there is video of people showing how lab diamonds are made and they do take a small piece of real diamond to put in the machine with other compounds that a diamond is made of. So the guy above mes comment is bullshit
its true. lab diamonds aren't just grown out of thin air. lol. now that would be crazy! just like anything that can be grown, you need to start off with something, like a seed. to create a lab grown diamond, you need an actual diamond, or even another lab diamond or anything that contains carbon. but all u need for the seed is a very small amount. even a spec that's as small as a needle tip would do fine. the idea is, That after u put in the "seed" which is carbon, the lab grown process does its thing and duplicates the carbon into bigger, more, bigger, bigger, bigger, untill finally to the size of diamond you want. does this make sense ?
+NumBuRRR1SwaggHo that means a lot! Wasn't sure about making jewelry videos to begin with because I didn't know if people would watch them lol. Comments like yours makes me want to keep making them better and better!
He literally just says that his opinion is that we should go with real diamonds but he doesn't say why. Not having a market, for a shifty resell, is not a reason to go for mined diamonds. A diamond is a diamond people, don't fall for this shit.
Ok let me explain When you spend 10,000 or more on jewelry u want something that can hold its value or possibly increase over time a high quality 2ct Lab diamond lets say is about 6000 usd for the stone it self and lets say 15,000 for the natural version. In 10 years lets say your back in against the wall and need cash .. you go with ur 6000 usd lab diamond and if your lucky they'll offer you about 200$ or u go with your natural and they will offer you 13,000. Thats why.
Evan Oxendine yes they do, I had a gold pendant and took it to a pawn shop and they told me the diamonds inside were fake, they looked real to me and were 8-9 years old but the gold was real so they offered $150 for the pendant
Evan Oxendine Depends on the size of the pendant. 10k sucks just because it has a lower percentage of gold in it compared to 14k and 18k. I would upgrade to 14k for the most part but I did say that I would probably wear 10k jewelry on my wrists and fingers just because 10k is more scratch resistant than 14k.
Why the fuck should the average Joe care about what the resale market is? Like, I get it if you're really into buying/selling/trading diamonds. But some dude buying an engagement ring? As soon as that ring is on her finger, that money is as good as gone. If they stay together, it's not like they're going to be selling the ring. If they break up, it's unlikely that he'd get the ring back anyway. Engagement rings aren't an investment. If your girl says "no" merely because it's lab-grown and not mined, you're with the wrong girl. Get the lab grown rock and spend the money you saved on an epic honeymoon that'll be worth a whole lot more than a checkbox on a piece of paper that says it was mined by a glorified slave instead of grown in a lab. Just my 2c.

It's all about trust when buying jewelry. You have to trust your jeweler. You could have the same chance of buying a fake diamond in a store as online.
At the end of the day carbon that is crystallized is a diamond. Your favorite rappers are wearing it now. Vvs are lab diamonds 😂😂😂
You're an idiot lol
So what would be the clarity of a lab diamond Vs?
do you know anything about gold filled chains because someone tried to sell me a gold filled chain saying it's real gold and won't tarnish
+Boss Don great question. I'll make a video explaining it.
Ok thank you.
Hey bro i Bought a 14k curve from you . And I only word on the weekends I still wear 10k gold chain , it's cheaper and to me I wear it every day work basis. I just wouldn't want to lose or get it Ruined on where I work at so I wear my more valuable necklaces on the weekends I'm guessing that's the best way to take care of something ha
moissanite isn’t cheap 😂😂😂 i love both lab made and natural diamonds moissanite is good i can’t do cz tho
Can you do a video on herring bone chains just talking about them there's not alot on UA-cam so it would be dope if you made one .
I thought a lab diamond is the way to go. You said the price difference is not that much, but say you want to buy a diamond. You can get a natural diamond that may have inclusions and say G color for example. Is it true, For the same money, you could get a flawless lab diamond in a whiter color, like E?
do as they do not as they say ... China, Queen of England etc all purchase high quality diamonds
Thank you brotha I’ve purchased both and it brings a lot of clarity.
You forgot the big thing here. Lab grown diamonds have to have a label on them that states they are lab made
On the actual stone that is
Diamonds are going to hit the floor in prices like the pearl did 👌
angry brit Cultured pearls are still expensive. They have grading systems like diamonds do.
My thing is Moissanites also get the Beep pass in regards to the Diamond Tester.
I'm buying a Rolex bezel from Amazon. CAN you give a brother some advice?
Are the hip hop jewlery lab diamonds being misrepresented? Like the black ones, they’re so cheap
$400, would you think thats real lab diamond?
hey how can i test a .15 carat diamond, since is so small...
do lab diamonds beep up to red on a tester?
They still test positive when they are tested
StormzYLive Depends on the level of test… With the diamond tester yes it will test positive but if you send it to a lab to be tested they’ll say it’s clearly not a Earth grown Diamond.
That's The Sad Part....
ah jacoje.. why support debeers tho. lab made is real diamond if it's about the look. natural diamonds could drop in value if debeers ever got liquidated :/
+Ben Stephens they won't liquidate
JACOJE LYNX admittedly probs not.. for a generation or two but who knows long term :) love your vids tho mate, be checkin you out when I'm ready for a new chain
They sold about 6 years ago
Yea you can get vvs1 diamonds on a silver pendent lol. That tells your right there the value of lab diamonds
I am thinking of buying a 4mm figaro from you but his do I know it is real gold
Natural/Earth Created or Lab Created, it’s still 100% a diamond. I personally haven’t ever and wouldn’t ever buy lab just because of investment/long term value. IMO natural diamonds will always keep more value
that's a fact. As soon as they find an easier way to grow those lab diamonds they will become worthless
Lad diamond is way better and more expensive and more perfect and it’s all real being lab diamond
Love ya reviews bro
Look I know we talkin bout diamonds here but does white gold tarnish?
if it's gold, then it doesn't tarnish at all. doesn't matter if it's yellow gold, rose, white, or black or green gold (joking). one of the reasons gold is precious is because they never rot or get old and ugly.
coolguyabc21 some gold can tarnish if around heavy sulfur !! My cross turned bronze from sulfur 8 hairgrease running down my neck at night!! No joke 14kt
White gold is still yellow gold with a finish of rhodium on it making it white
Love your videos can you make a video on how to clean/polish a 14k gold rope chain thank you!
+aj the alligator Yeah I will. That'll be helpful for a lot of people!
Will lab diamonds pass the diamond tester
Moissnide also beens on the tester
Can SI Diamonds be tested with diamond tester ?
I quality diamonds can be tested with a diamond tester .. Si diamonds are real diamonds and still aint cheap if its Si1
I rather have lab diamonds than a blood diamond
Do u sell diamonds testers?
Do lab diamonds pass the diamond tester?
Do si diamonds past a diamond tester ?
Is master of bling lab dimonds real or synthetic
bikelife. UK FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE!!!!! aka synthetic
coolguyabc21 Synthetic doesn't mean fake
Real diamomds are just a scam a monopoly theres tons and tons of them
Absolutely ridiculous lab diamonds have their own certification and they are way lower then the price point you quoted
Yo do a video on cz white sapphire and the other fake diamond
Where does the term "Blood Diamonds" come from? Was there a Huge war in Africa over Diamond? Were People held Captive and place in slavery to farm Diamonds??
Search the movie BLOOD DIAMONDS and u will understand everything.
My chain is a 10k gold I tested it and it was real gold but is no heavy why ?
+Juan Vaquiz What kind of chain is it? If it's not heavy.. Most likely it's hallow inside unless it's a really thin chain.
I was told by a jeweler that they use the shavings and scraps of real diamonds after they cut their diamonds and use those to make lab diamonds. Is this even possible? Sounds sus
Michael Senchy that's pure 100% raw uncut thoroughly vetted bullshit.
They use small parts of a natural diamond or a already created synthetic diamond as a seed or foundation for the creation of more synthetic diamonds.
False
Can you do a video on gold grills?
+amezcua323 yup yup
so will they pass the diamond tester?
Fb Reviews Yes, Lab Diamonds are real..
I love natural blood diamonds
Lab diamond does test as real diamonds
This was a very informational video thanks ‼️
+Jake Matthews no problem, thanks for watching
A spade is a spade, just as lab diamond is a real diamond.
Test your diaminds you purchase with both testers
Controversial means the diamond industries dirty little game is over.
I’ll take a lab diamond. Thanks.
Can you do the video on white sapphires
+WaddlesRocks27 yes, white sapphires are very nice
Can you please talk about De beers
Thank you for sharing your information. I found that very helpful
+gulam rasul you're welcome, thanks for watching
Man i love your channel man
+NumBuRRR1SwaggHo that means a lot!
Thats why.
Do Jewelers put fake diamonds in real gold pendants?
+Evan Oxendine good question, will make a video on it
JACOJE LYNX ok thanks
Evan Oxendine yes they do, I had a gold pendant and took it to a pawn shop and they told me the diamonds inside were fake, they looked real to me and were 8-9 years old but the gold was real so they offered $150 for the pendant
I have a gold Versace pendant 10kt gold I paid 120 for it. Might be fake for that price
Well labs are real. Diamond testers are testing the carbon and they pass the test.
Just my 2c.
I didnt even do anything wrong, why he yelling at my face???
