HI Sean! Great work again this week! The Pooh block is cute as can “bee” 🙂 I’m glad you’re getting use out of the ruler holder! Brought a tear to my eye listening you tell that Dad made it! He was teaching me woodworking before he got sick and passed. I’m glad I could pass on something he made to a fellow quilter and friend! Now to get motivated to go up in my room and work on some projects! See you this week!
Great progress. Every time I see the Pooh block, it makes me smile. What a wonderful design by John. What a good idea to buy more Wonder clips so you get get ahead on your cutting. For my Boo Crew quilt, I cut the last four blocks at once, and I believe it has sped up my assembly. I am almost done. I have been sewing log cabin blocks from a precut kit to donate to Leana's wheelchair quilts, so no FPP for me. Goals for next week are to finish Boo Crew & log cabin quilt. Then I have to quilt tablerunners and the log cabin. I like honey and prefer wildflower. Happy sewing!
Hi Sean, I love toy Winnie the Pooh block. Super cute!I love honey and my favorite is local clover honey. I love it in my hot tea. I love watching your trips with the exchange students. My sister lives in Southern MD and when I retire I'd love to visit her and see Lancaster, PA and the surrounding areas. Have a fabulous week and I;m looking forward to seeing the Queen of Hearts and the mushroom blocks!
Hi Sean good to see you.. cantaloupe melon in the UK. Thanks for the look at the museum. Love the pooh block can't wait to see the balloon and bees. You can never have to many clips can you. Catch you next time sending love xxxxxxx
Hi Sean! I enjoyed your podcast (as always). My mom always called her cantaloupes "musk melon". I've seen it called the same at farmer's markets, so not sure if it's a different variety or not, but that's a fun memory for me. I have just started to love honey in the past few years as I've reduced processed sugar in my diet. I always try to buy local honey for the health benefits of helping with seasonal allergies. I've enjoyed seeing ou every day in Ocotboer. Have a great week!
Around this area they use the phrase musk melon to mean the green inside ones but then again they call them summer melons also....if you find out if it's a different variety, I'd love to know...ya got me thinkin' now... 😊
I was able to finish my Wild West Clue 3 - so many HSTs! But I guess I'm getting better at them as the block needed very little trimming. I'm from the Midwest so we always called these Muskmelons. I think they are a variety of canteloupe.
Hi Sean, Regards to Amanda and girls. Just got to love Winnie-the-Pooh ❤ Mother was from North East part of Kentucky. Actually Maysville where George Clooney was from. And she called Cantaloupe. Mushmelon
Your Pooh is adorable 😍 gee, that 'sounds' weird. Anyway, I'm allergic to honey (depends on where the bees went I guess). It either closes my throat or I am Ok....so for the most part, I don't purposely eat unless I wanna live on the edge 😂 ......

I love Greek Honey. Thymeli. Thyme Honey.
Pooh is cute but the caterpillar! That’s going to be my favorite…until you show us another one. Looking forward to more daily episodes.
Oh how cute.
Originally from US so I know them as cantaloupe but now live in New Zealand so call them rock melons.
There she blows a Newfoundland saying…lol
I can see why cantaloupe looks like a rock.
Pooh is coming along. I got mine completed except the embroidery part. I do not like honey.
Hello Sean... no honey here, bad experience... don't mix honey and rum
I dislike cutting
