Hi Lacey, you have some very lovely projects. Me personally prefer the block stitching vs cross country. You see your progress much better and the picture grows little by little with every stitch. This is what fascinates me..... 🥰 Happy stitchy week. Love from Switzerland 🇨🇭
Hi!! Thank you so much for the mention! You are too sweet! 💕 Your projects are gorgeous… I especially love the mountain cabin. I’ve had my eye on that one for a long time now…! You may have just enabled me 🤭 Snagnabbits are great - don’t know how I ever stitched without one! Looking forward to watching your next video! 🤗
@thenightowlstitcher I may be biased but I think it's amazing 😁 you should definitely do it 😅 it's been fun to stitch, too! Are you on Instagram? You can dm me there if you need more convincing 😆
@@the_sleepystitcher I don’t have a cross-stitch instagram yet, but I will make one and definitely reach out to you there! It probably won’t take much more convincing 😂
Hi Lacey. I like all your projects. The quilt room project will look great even though it is cropped. Amy of Stitchery Lovers is stitching the whole thing.
I don’t have any preference on timing of videos. Your next HAED start maybe I’ll do a stitch along with you… I actually just bought Christmas Lane by Dona Gelsinger and two different Aimee Stewart’s… QS A Stitch in Time Sweet Life and Love Letters Chocolate Shop. Love both those artists work 😊
@TheBeginnerStitcher Christmas Lane is one that I've had on my list for a while! I'm just worried about all the white...but it's do beautiful 😍 I'd love it if you start along with me. I just have to make a decision 😆
Hi, Lacey! 👋🏼 Great progress on all your projects, girl! Your Gingerbread banner across that piece looks fantastic! I think you should leave the backstitching on it as is-looks awesome! Wow, your mystery is so different than mine now-mine involves an affair between Arabella and her friend’s husband! 😱 And the 2nd thing she found after the locket was a diary in a drawer in the room she had stayed in last! PS I love your hair! Edited to add: I love the Japan piece-you should do that to commemorate your time in Japan for sure!
@homemadeontheridge Oh wow, it is super different! Your story sounds really interesting too! Ok I think I'm going to leave the back stitch alone. Thank you 😊
You’re a busy mum. I’m happy for you to do videos whenever you have the time. I too was always a monogamous stitcher but I have 2 going at the moment (but I’m going to pause one because I want to focus on my Aimee Stewart) and I have another kitted up but I’m waiting for the fabric to arrive but it’s going to be my birthday/travel project next month. I’m a cross country stitcher but I don’t do extreme cross country because I’m more likely to make mistakes and I also like to have something to anchor it to when finishing off. I don’t understand the whole parking thing because all those threads hanging would bug me. I get annoyed when I have 1/2 threads hanging.
@michelleclark79709 It's nice to have a travel project! I'm still undecided on the extreme cross country because of both of those reasons you named, but we'll see 😊
Hi Lacey! You've made great progress on your mountain cabin! I just started watching Tammy too; she's so fun and lovable!! ❤ I think it would be lovely to do the Japan HAED to commemorate your time there. Omg, Flosstube makes me want to stitch everything! I was a mostly monogamous stitcher before Flosstube (meaning I had a big piece on scroll bars that stayed at home, but I also had a small-med sized piece that could go with me when I left the house.) Now I have about 24 Wips. 😂 I was born and raised in TN; it's such a beautiful place!❤ Happy stitching! 😊
@@IdRatherBeeStitching I really do think I want to do the Japanese one. I'm just not sure if I want to do it while I do Mountain Cabin or once it's finished. 🤔 We love Tennessee! 🥰
@@the_sleepystitcher Yeah, I'm really impressed with all of you stitchers who have more than one HAED going at a time! I don't even know if I could handle one. 🤣
Wow, so much progress for 9 days! 👏🏻. I LOVE Mountain cabin, but the others look great, too. I am not an expert on backstitching, but I am not sure 2 strands will make a difference....but maybe a different floss colour would help, white perhaps? Good job on getting all that white on white stitching done. It can be a pain for sure, but it looks good!! That is actually what I need to do today, and I am stalling🤣 Progress is progress, so I am not picky about how often you post a video! Take care! 🪡💕
@@angieslowlycrafts I was lucky to have some really good stitching days 😊 I think I may remove the green after looking at some Facebook photos. We will see. Thanks so much for the advice 😊
I think you should leave the single back stitch because with 2 strands I think it would look to thick. I love all your stitching. Your full coverage is so beautiful. Happy Stitching.
Great video! I would leave the single back stitch. I think two strands would be too thick. I also hate white stitching and I’m about to start a bride in a few months 😢
@dmscraftyvortex Hopefully the bride won't be too bad because it won't be on white fabric 🤞I saw someone remove the green completely so I might do that. I'll show you on IG
I stitch full coverage extreme cross country. I stitch all kinds of things and trying to not follow a path makes me nuts (block stitching and/or dangling mess of threads). I move with the stitching from thing to thing like a regular stitch only there is background too. I start top left then continue across and down as my fancy strikes. No dangling mess ever. I love the easy grid. I like 28 count better (black), always full cross not tent. Have projects not on easy grid aldo 28 or maybe 32 count. More stressful for sure.
@kathrynryan2895 Parking looks stressful to me too 😆 I'm not sure my brain could handle it. I love the idea of ECC but we will see where the project ends up taking me 😊
Hey sweet friend, you have made so much progress on your projects. I can’t believe you got such a big portion done on on your HAED ❤🎉 I love your gingerbread piece. I think it was a wise idea to leave the white. It looks so good. Also, If it were me stitching, the chalkboard I would leave it as is 😊 I think one strand of floss looks great. It is very noticeable. ❤🫶🏻 Thank you so much for the shout out I really appreciate it 😊
@@leopardandlacecoxoxo You're so welcome 😊 that seems to be the consensus so far, to leave it alone. I've probably just been looking at it too long 😆 I appreciate the fresh perspective! 😊
