Making a Beautiful + Simple Leather Coin Wallet (PATTERN)
Kayleena's really coming into her own as a designer, and this piece really shows that! Kayleena designed this beautiful origami-like pouch style wallet a few weeks ago and I just had to make it in a video. It's a really simple design, but again it holds so, so much stuff! We made this piece out of natural veg tanned leather from Hermann Oak, and all the info you need is in the pattern :)

the hole in the corner is typical for sheet metal work...it is called bend relief...keeps inside corners from cracking and allows the bending tool to make a complete bend. That's a great little project!! another one for the bucket list!! thx :o)
oh that's super cool! I find it does a similar thing for leather, just makes things overall easier to fold and no risk of cracking in the future if the piece gets too dry/beat up
I made the original wallet and enlarged the design to a bigger wallet, both look great! Thanks again for this design.

The pattern is simple. Wouldn't be be easier to punch all the stitch holes at the start, before folding the wings?

I bought one (cheap tbh)...and I can't get to use it as marker...
What size needles do you use? I have a hard time pulling mine through the stitch.
