That was an awesome video man very entertaining looked like you guys had a blast lol good times I would’ve done the same luckily phones are IP68 these days 🙏🏼 great content I’m a subscriber!
Definitely thumbs up for diving in. I always have my phone in a Ziplock bag . I got to say pretty quick reaction diving in and you still got him in 👍 Plus you get to eat him as well. Hopefully the phone survived?
Surprising to here, the cap looks super low from the highway. Been out in a kayak fly casting twice this season with no luck so far, seen a couple of jumpers and one big school.
Wow looks like an awesome day Chris! Is the Fishing at the mouth more productive now or up in the river? Btw do you fish with the same fly colour and pattern used up in the river? green leeches? Thanks
Hey Mr b! Last week it had slowed down so I'm hoping they build up again. Maybe the Cap water levels came up with the recent rain? And yes, I use the same Capilano flies.
@@bugpumper cool, thanks. On the capilano do you use fast sinking for those summer run coho? I really want to try coho on the fly there, seems super fun but I don’t know the right gear to use
Great commitment by man overboard👍
Wow surprising to see the pink so coloured up even in the salt

In a ziplock is the best idea for sure, but the phone was totally ok!
hey Chris, I was the guy with the red jacket at Ambleside 2 weeks ago or so. Nice to meet you. I believe the tide was coming back in.
I remember you, I wish I had my Zodiac that day! They were jumping just out of range.
what flies are you using?
Have you been out there at all this year?
hey 604! No not in the salt at all!! I can't say why.
I guess the in river flyfishing is so good. But I'll get out there soon. What about you??

Now would he jump into cable pool if he dropped the rod :)
lol, yes! He would and has!!
What length of rods do you use for trolling salmon?
Hi Mathew, I use a 10'6, My buddy uses a 11ft.
@@bugpumper Oh wow, I have a 10'6 but it just feels so long for a boat. Glad it is the standard. Thanks for the reply :)
What line were you using on the fly rod?
Hi Daniil, thats a slow sink, clear chamo. The fish are always just under the surface.

@@daniilgaiday yes in the Cap pools we all use a type 6 or 7 fast sink.
