    Try this:
    1st gear - up to 15kmph
    2nd gear - up to 30 kmph
    3rd gear - up to 45 kmph
    4th gear - up to 60 kmph
    5th gear - 61 kmph onwards
    Maintain the speed of 60 for 350 cc and for 500, do maintain the speed of 65-70 kmph. Currently, I am riding a 500 cc. Current avg is of 40 kmpl #TryThis

      yes zain, I know it's hard to believe, but my route has no signals and it's an expressway so I ride hassle free. I never cross the speed limit of 70 kmph. #HappyThumping

    Really good info. well explained. One thing I felt that was missing here was the impact of change in silencer on the engine. what do we need to consider before we change the silencer from stock to say Red Rooster? I have read elsewhere that the ECU or something is mapped to the stock silencer and any change in the silencer requires a re-map. otherwise engine performance gets impacted negatively in the long run. need a detailed explanation on this aspect. Hope you can cover this aspect in your upcoming videos... thanks a lot!

    • @alionwheels2796
      @alionwheels2796  7 років тому

      I am not the right person to talk about the silencers, so I would suggest you to consult it with the expert.

    Bro i want to add alloys and exhaust with Thump .Can I install it just after buying it? Are alloys unsafe for it? Do exhaust and alloys affect longterm reliability? Is service trustable? Also is things like digital meter reliable for it? Hoping for your reply

    I live in Uttrakhand so it's a different terrain here at every 50 meters ups and downs .. when my bike was brand new i went for a 40 km ride to feel the gear shiftingand learning the proper wayfor changing gears if i was on 40 i shifted to 4 th but what happened was my bike would stop suddenly throttlethrottle would not respond and the bike would stop and start again after 5 minutes it happened 3-4 times because i was following the directions for gear changing in manual i was confused why is this happening or if something has broken.... But after i came back i thought about it for some time and i realised if the terrain changes from slope to climb or straightroad to climb u can't stay at 4 th gear and ride at 40 u be to be above 50km/HR or the throttle won't give power.. therefore i started following this whenever it's a climb iam at 3rd with 40-50 km/grand to go on 4th i be to increase the speed which i can only do either on a slopeor a straight road not on a climb.

    • @sher6935
      @sher6935 7 років тому

    standard have heavy crank.. u can put 5th gear at 40kmph in standard.. but classic or tb will strt vibrating at such a low speed on 5th gear but not standard.. this is the reason ppl buy standard over other re models! 😊👌

      soham jadhav
      There should not be a problem if you change the silencer but only change the silencer after 3 rd service is complete so that the engine sets in properly

    • @NikRebello
      @NikRebello 7 років тому

      Santosh Rajagopalan
      Simply put it this way it takes time for the bike to adjust and its suggested to go with stock to provide ideal back pressure. Until the running in is complete but i would suggest 3rd service
