Absolutely amazing person. 5 of my fellow countrymen (Bangladesh) were in that 49 victims and our cricket team were barely able to escape the horrific attack arriving couple of minutes late to the Al Noor mosque. The way She handled the situation should be the new norm and guideline for the other world leader to follow to address Any kind of hate crime. Personally I would like to thank every New Zealanders for supporting the families of those victims and congratz electing such an amazing PM.

I live on the other side of the planet in Germany. When I listened to her speach, Jacinda Ardern conveyed a message of WE ARE ONE. This really touched my heart. I wish we had leaders like that in Germany. I just wanted to say that my right arm receives that band of true and honest empathy from NZ and my left hand sends it back to NZ. All around the planet. As an Irish woman living in a country with a complex political history of racial tension, it was very heartening to see Maori and Kiwi side by side performing the Maori ceremonial mourning passages with such fierce pride and passion. She has such a soft heart, her compassion is beyond applause, beyond description. Very few PM's like her have ever graced our planet, she has not been hardened by her craft, and that is admirable. Humanity in such a pure form is always mesmerising and heart-wrenchingly joyful to behold. its so sad that we dont see it expressed more often.
Over these last few days New Zealand has proved what a great nation it is. People follow the example of their leaders and what an absolute amazing leader this fine woman is. We can all learn something from her
Gosh! This speech is unbelievably positive and everything that makes beautiful. Every word oozes warmth and sheer compassion. New Zealand is lucky to have a leader like this
It just goes to show how far disconnected the world is from love.
It does not matter what gatherings of ethnicitys, religions... People... If this had happen to anyone in NZ the response of our nation would be the same.
A true leader has compassion, honour and respect, to lead ALL that walks this earth. We are you, you are us.

Much before this, one my favorite artists has been Dido, and her video for "Look No Further" almost brings me to tears. What completely brought me to tears now is PM Ardern speaking so deeply. I lasted just ten seconds. As a resident of the United States, a non-citizen, I've been looking for places to retire, and it says a lot that I don't qualify for New Zealand residency. You have a great country, with caring and professional citizens. You look after the land and fauna as well as you look after your people, and those newcomers whom you welcome.
I've slept for only four hours, for staying up late to read the Manifesto. It took five hours of editing its format and sentence structure. He chose NZ specifically to be as hurtful as possible, you are good people, and he hoped to lay waste to your kindness. I wish the families of the fallen my condolences, and restored health to the injured. I was born Christian, but I am non-practicing, I respect your faith and count many fellow Muslim New Yorkers as good neighbor.
