They say that you can't teach an old dog new tricks. But that hedge/fence combo around the graveyards was something I've literally never thought of and I will definitely be using it in the future! Just goes to show, even those of us with hundreds and hundreds of hours in this game are still n00bs. 🤣😂
This guide is keeping up because no one else makes vanilla look this good (that I've found). Great work and always providing new ideas for everyone to try, not just the modders. We all appreciate the content
That path up to the Institute of Creative Arts is one of my favourite small details from the whole build! To help increase walkability further you could change some segments of road to one’s with tress to force crosswalks on some of those longer blocks. I’m down for some more streams if they suit the schedule/flow
OK. Compliment sandwich time here: 1. I love the walkway up to the institute of creative arts. That's such a clever way to make an asset out of "jank" rather than just hiding it. 2. I'm not a fan of the fake carpark area. I'd much rather take the time with green cities wack a mole hyper-charge lots. But I guess it's important to show the other options that are available. 3. That cemetery zone is so great. Those plazas in the centre look like an area for cremated burials. There are so many awesome ideas and tips in today's episode, and it's very OE style. That's why I like it. (well, most of it. 🤷♀)
LOVE this city, today's rocks and roadies filled up my love cup! Like Brad said, the layout is incredible. DId you sketch out this entire city before building it? My cities never look this cohesive, that's what I'm always struggling with. Loved this episode, excellent tips and Eggisms, hedge fences are a huge thing now, and I love that you saw that tiny asset you'd never seeen before. So funny! 😍🥰
Following along - I went a little bold and put the Locomotive Halls where you had the Disaster Response Unit ( think you placed that during the oil build detailing time lapse). Then I thought a little U-shaped decorative run of side railroad track made sense to sort of ring around the Loco Halls. They are a train museum after all. Sort of inspired by a steam engine museum near me. Wound up deciding I needed to see passenger trains running on those decorative tracks around the Loco Halos too so I plopped one of the Content Creator train stations behind the Loco Halls towards this new suburb along the winding road bordering the forest brush line. Basically between the Hypermarket and where my Loco Halls replaced your Disaster Response building. Turned out amazing; an egg inspired resounding success.
What a great cemetery park area. And yay for the good old horse chestnut, lovely trees they are (we have them here in Oregon), though the nuts are not edible.
Love these residential extensions and when the topography is being respected. It feels the most possibly realistic to me. And a great build as usual! 😄
@@OVERCHARGEDEGG I thoroughly enjoyed this episode and what a wonderful city design! I recently started using the prop line tool and it is such a delight to place trees parallel to a road now! I am going to enjoy implementing many of the tricks and ideas you have been showing us, trying to get that feel of an actual skyline rather than trying to understand the game itself. I used to be put off designing my city because I always had issues, not enough workers, too many dead etc... I have learnt so much over the last few weeks I have not had any major issues with my city since watching your channel! Cheers!
Hi, is it possible to put your save online so that i can have a look in depth? I get a ton of inspiration from your series! The palavan was amazing as well and still learning from this noob guide. Thank you and keep up the good work!!!
Prussion Peaks 2? 😂 The terrain on the back half of this tile doesn't look so bad until you start building on it. With some selective use of RICO Revisited and some high density condos from the workshop, I'm already at 68K pop. I've kept it within an essentially identical footprint to what you have and amazingly the city is handling the the population very well, which speaks volumes to your attention to transportation infrastructure. I very much enjoyed the live stream for some detailing but agree with just the occasional episode. ✨✨✨
Noob Yolk, with it's tropical forest roads, feels like a real precursor to your future Aussie Gold Coast city. (Whether thats in CS2 or not, who knows...)
Hi Overcharged Egg. I really like that asthetic of that elevated industrial road over the forest. Reminds me of a foto of an highway on Hawaii I have seen recently. But maybe you should replace those four small houses next to the ramp with something else. Maybe high density or some services?
Love watching your videos for inspiration and instruction! Thanks for the content. By chance, can you share the name of the mod that allows you to paint the varied tree pattern with such ease?
Great episode, I normally like my intercity trains feeding into one, or maybe two central hubs. But having different sorts of hubs is quite quirky While on the subject, does anyone know when the intercity train button will be fixed? I don’t really want to fully separate the intercity and suburban rail network in my city
This is way off topic Mr Egg sir, you know your trick with node controller when you make your cul-de-sac, I have not tried this but maybe use that trick on the paths in the bridge mode and you can make look out spots. Just a thought you could maybe try out.

hear hear, loved that detail. Definitely going to copy that next time I place something on an elevated plateau!

Never ceases to amaze me how your builds come together so cohesively. Lovely new area! Looking forward to next week already 😀
I just love this series!!

Filling my subscribers love cups with noobs guide content isn't something I thought would happen 😂 glad you enjoyed Jen!!
@@OVERCHARGEDEGG I never thought Noobs would fill my love cup like Ilos, but it definitely adds to my levels!! ❤️🏆
I love vanilla insprations and detaling tactics. They are extremely useful for console players like me 😬 Thank you!!
fun build, love the cemetery.
Thank you for the VOD. 🥃🥃

I am really loving the noobs guide... It is so very helpful for us that lack creativity! Your the best EGG!
I lack creativity sometimes too 😌 it takes time. Glad you're enjoying it 😀

Cup of PG Tips tea, snacks and an OVERCHARGED EGG video.... yep my afternoon is set! :)
Enjoy mate 😌

Thanks Egg... yes detailing... it's all in the details! Thank you for your great builds!

Stream detailing is good.
The build is so beautifully designed 😍 loved it ❤️ 💖 keep up the great work 💪 ❤️

@@OVERCHARGEDEGG yes I sure did!
Getting close to 50k subs. Wasn't there a promise that was made?
my new map is full of strange terrain, its one of e6gys maps :D. but i love to build on it. So this guide really helps me. Thank you for the video
