So nice to see RC so forthcoming and relaxed. He’s humble because he was terrifying to his competitors because the guy just had the killer instinct. Mental strength he had was unsurpassed. Win or nothing.
MC had a BMX background. The need for flow and efficiency is so key for that transition to moto.
That and he was the perfect height.
RC will forever be the king of MX and MC will forever be the king of SX
Eli king of daytona
@Familytube90 😅 wow, good for him
@@Familytube90 Eli is the king of old guys. There has never been someone as fast as him at 32.
Jeremy is still the king of supercross
It's called natural talent.. it's just there
Hey RC, lifelong moto fan and full time guitarist here. 47 years worth. I teach for a living and work in the guitar industry. Music theory isn’t “necessary” to work a song out by ear. Little kids learn songs by ear all the time on the playground. Songs have been passed down generationally for centuries by ear. Music theory’s function is to explain WHY things sounds the way they do. They sound the way they do whether you know theory or not. Theory defines musical sounds for us. It also helps you understand your instrument. It is super helpful just like training for riding is. It helps train us to play and understand music deeper. It’s not necessary to play music. I’d love the opportunity to teach you something about it if you are interested. Huge fan!
Like Gary Semics says… success is a combination of TALENT and DESIRE.
McGrath had a ton of talent, RC had a ton of desire.
I would love to see you interview Alex Martin and Jeremy Martin
Also talented people have such high cielings it's rediculous. A normally tallented guys absolute maximum peak - after years of practise - can be surpassed by a tallented guy like it's just a random stepping stone despite putting in just a fraction of the effort and time. Because it comes naturally. It's like swimming downstream versus upstream. And so of course if you apply effort on top of that tallent the results and the possibilities are just incredible.
Can you please post the music theory link?
3:56 I think talent is generally earned/worked for and instinct is largely natural. Plenty of examples of natural talent or earned instinct but in my opinion the anomaly guys are ones with good natural instinct combined with well developed talent. Or maybe they're the same thing! 🤣
Ricky looks like Rob Dyrdek, except Ricky isn't desperate for attention.
Was literally just thinking the same thing watching this.
If you like music theory check out Opeth and bands like them.
1/4 turn and a boot on the way by😂
Fitness beat McGrath
But once a man I beaten they struggle to lift the pace against the young gun's
McGrath just needed to keep getting holeshots and stay composed with 5% lift in fitness and practice watching for tips to get faster lap time's
Can we talk about the fact that none of these guys actually drink the energy drinks that sponsor them? It's kind of silly.
Cause they’re terrible for you especially as an athlete. Kinda silly your questioning that.
@zacharyradford5552 I'm not suggesting they do. I just think pretending to drink them is silly. As if RC is going to prep for an interview with a giant energy drink or Jett Lawrence is going to cool off after winning a heat race with a nice cold red bull.
Ricky, I’ll give you guitar lessons!!
Dude’s cool to listen to on podcasts but is TERRIBLE in the booth
We all gotta start somewhere no matter what we do
@@jessesdomain444nah man he’s been in it for years and still is cringe. He will never be good
