I would love to learn more about start and stop points. Sometimes I notice the stitch out start at the top then go to the bottom to meet the top but sometimes it doesn’t meet back exactly.

Sometimes it will do the underlay first. Or sometimes, if it's a really large area, it will do that to avoid puckering
