57:28 I remember reading somewhere that the room temp is determined by what room the ghost is ACTUALLY in. So what could be happening is the ghost mosied about in the hallway and living room and gradually brought the temperature down in both because it spent enough time in both rooms to bring down their temps to freezing.
thats also why it can be freezing temps, and yet so hard to get freezing if the ghost is super roamy
Exactly right, in that case it moved so one room cooled down and the other warmed up but both were freezing for a while because, physics.

Same! Watching these is literally how I learned to play the game, and now I’m as knowledgeable as anybody else who’s been playing for a long time, despite me having the game for less than a year. I only just recently unlocked intermediate mode lol
i finally gave in and played my first game of phasmo yesterday, just half a year after i first bought it. i had a ton of fun, and only screamed a few times! thanks for sparking my interest in this game and teaching me everything i know about it, impulse! i’m usually extremely adverse to anything horror but i had a ton of fun playing because of the exposure therapy i’ve been through by watching these vods. i’m already looking forward to the next time i’ll be able to play :D

They really do need to fix the issue of the ghost spawning right on top of someone. When it spawns in a room with players, it should spawn the farthest from the players. A can in that room when it is a small room like these.
there is a grace period on nightmare and insanity of 2 seconds when the hunt starts, before the ghost starts moving and before it can kill players. it's not a long time, but if the player recognizes that it's a hunt and doesn't walk into the ghost, there is a chance they can escape. it's hard mode, so the grace period is short!
yeah thats the point of the grace period, but on high difficulties it certainly feels like theres just nothing you can do sometimes
Yeah i do customer difficulty with no grace period and its much more apparent on point hope 😂
Skill issue
I think that the acting is improving. Good job, impulse! The timing of your slam on the desk was really good! A lot of actors struggle with that one. The giggling after the "rage" kinda gave it away. The yelling of profanity and the bleeping of it was comedy gold!
The fact that Impulse just busted out Mr. Roboto when talking about the secret made my day!

point hope really needs a bit of balance change i think, because anything in the upper half is so painful, and since you can't turn on very many lights you lose basically all your sanity just going up and back down once

It wasn't that you were a bad actor in the hermit craft video Impulse, it was that the vast majority of people already saw Grian do it. You did well it's just that the audience had already seen that particular prank.
On that troll episode, I %100 believed you and was indeed close to having a panic attack haha. legitimately, almost cried. You ARE a good actor!
You know what they should've done? They should've added an elevator on point hope. It would've helped when you have to travel many floors at a time, make it less repetitive, it would've been a unique feature to encourage people to come to point hope
It would've added an aspect of horror, as the elevator is opening you don't know what's gonna happen, the ghost might be right there and you dead
On the other hand, hunt starts, you enter the elevator, you're trying to desperately close the door as the ghost gets closer and closer. Will you survive?
think there’d need to be a mechanic where the elevator dies during hunts

The elevator would of had to be run down already and wouldn't fit in. Judging by the map's description and the way it's layed out (with the easter egg and things), those UV ghosts were probably killed because the lighthouse stopped running in the 18th century (the gravestone) and since it was made in the 18th century, you can see why it's just stairs
@@sf22008 it was also recently renovated, and looking from the interior, it was renovated pretty thoroughly so the point doesn't stick too well. Also you can mend lore to make the practical experience more fun anyways
@@MuhaamadAreeb Yeah the devs haven't made any sense with the lore then as to why there isn't that much modern stuff like elevators.
The bedrooms are so high too compared to the kitchen, imagine going through 5-6 flights of stairs just to eat and drink. Bad place to sleep walk too

*LE GASP* PHASMOOO! 🤩 This came out on the PERFECT day bc I’m heading up to my grandparents house for the 4th later today (we celebratin’ a day early due to scheduling and stuff) and it’s a good 2 hour drive, and I’ma be needing something to keep me entertained while being half asleep in the back of my mom’s mini van 😂 Also- I didn’t know Phasmo had so many secrets! :D This’ll be interesting for sure
random colour trivia: the third colour is scarlet, which from a colour theory perspective is 'true' red. However, most reds we see around are more crimson (partly cultural, partly they're easier on the eye), so pure red can seem almost orange in comparison.
Also the in-game flashlights are very specular, which washes out the colour further. You might have noticed that ball looks a lot redder when no one's looking at it (and shining a light on it) directly.

I made it less than a minute (assuming the start point is when the truck opens), but it has to be the Demon ability and I guess on Insanity it's easy to fall below 70% and get a regular hunt.
