Here's a few tips;
1. Since the point hope update, shades will NOT write in the book while you're in the room. They also won't blow out fire sources when someone's in the room.
2. When a ghost moves rooms, the previous room will slowly warm up. That's why (when it's not twins) you'll get low temperatures in 2 different rooms. Plus the room it moved to will slowly go down in temps.
3. Non-Ghost Writing ghosts will close the book after throwing it.
4. What's your favorite room doesn't work anymore. Instead ask "whERe aRE YoU" and it will give you its current location not necessarily its room.

While "Skibidi" originally had no inherent meaning, it has since evolved into a slang term used among children and teens, meaning either "bad" or "cool" depending on context. And they use the scout head from team fortress in the toilet, the toilet is fighting cameras/tv/speaker thing. I had to research it 😅
Skibidi Toilet is a multiseason, 3D animated, POV youtube short series portraying the rise of a dystopian society and the (violent) conflicts that ensue. It utilizes body horror and megalophobia with heavy influence from neo-dadaism to shock and entertain viewers.
The words "Skibidi Toilet" have since entered the vernacular of the youngest generation, and its use varies wildly due to its inherent absurdist nature.
Think of it like pokemon language. It means whatever you need it to mean, depending on tone and body language.

Yes. When it's cold in two rooms when I play, it's usually been when the ghost has just changed rooms and temps haven't stabilized yet.
@@manicpixelgirl temps seem to follow the ghost around a bit now. If the ghost spends a bunch of time in another room that room will get cold while the "favorite" room will get warmer. I see that a bunch in the Tanglewood kitchen and dining room, but also in other rooms with ghosts that like to wander.

i hate spirits for the simple fact they are either super active and touchy, or do absolutely nothing until everythings available, to the point my friends try to tell me its a shade and i refuse to believe so until somethin bigger happens as SOON as i leave a room, only other thing i can think of would be a firelight test, shades can no longer blow them out while ppl are in the room according to patch notes and they dont have as much range

Skibidi appears to have started with a viral song in 2018 by a Russian musician that can only be described as seriously weird, and likely stoned out of his mind when he came up with the song. The word has no actual meaning in Russian or any other language, but like "Crazy Frog" it was catchy, so it went viral despite it lacking any redeeming graces. This resulted in it being adopted by modern youth who use the word skibidi as a slang for cool. Due to its popularity, a russ... erm Georgian animator used it as an idea for a video series that like the original song lacked any semblance of sanity, thus appealed to the youth... I fear for the future of the human race... honestly I remember a lot of things that as a kid where cool and funny that today would leave me feeling like several brain cells died just from participating in the weirdness. The 2018 song makes "What does the fox say" feel like an operatic masterpiece musically, BUT it did have a reasonable driving beat. The skibidi toilet videos are an animation series that I personally can not see any appeal in, but as best I can tell, the target audience is stoned teenagers, and kids who giggle at toilet humor.
It is afterall popularized among Generation Alpha... a generation literally JUST starting to enter puberty.

52:00 The ghost wasn’t hunting a lot because of the early smudge do cleanse the area and then consistent smudges during hunts and they weren’t in the right room half of the time either so they didn’t see much happening
The onryo test doesnt work when you relight candles when there is another alight. Mostly imp has more than one candle going at once. Have three candles and relight none, or have one candle and relight it 3 times.
The candles act like crucifixes, when it blows it out for the third time to start the hunt, with another candle lit it counteracts the test.
At least thats my understanding

I am in the same school as some of these people, and I have no idea what it is. From what I've picked up, it's some sort of trashy animated gen alpha "horror" miniseries that got turned into an equally trashy game? And then people with no sense of humor found it funny and started using it as a phrase. It makes no sense, and I'd recommend just ignoring it. It doesn't mean anything important, and at this point, they're just trying to be "quirky" and "special" by using it.

Me and my mom were sitting next to each other and I had this vod playing out loud. She was ignoring it, but when it got to the part where you were in the truck, standing next to the sounds during a hunt, she gave me such a look of "really" and "wth?!" That I burst out laughing histarically!😂😂😂

I loved skizzes song about Donna Young (40:19), I didn't know wat it was from though, so I looked it up. In case anyone else was also wondering what that was from, it's from the song Mr. Roboto by Styx, and apparently "Dōmo arigatō, Mr. Roboto" is/was a popular catchphrase, you're welcome.
it's possible the Mare didn't hunt during the Spirit timer because the lights were on in the room (Grian was flicking them) (and it was also next to Impulse throwing stuff). unlikely, because insanity means their sanity was low, but possible.
a Mare can hunt in a dark room at 60% sanity, but in a room with the lights on it can hunt only at 40% sanity. still unlucky that it was right as the Spirit timer ended!

Hey Impulse! I saw a lot of people in your chat saying this, but with Onryos, even if three firelights have been blown out, if there are more lit candles in the vicinity, it will stop the ghost from hunting. The firelights will also override a crucifix in the area, so if you suspect it’s an Onryo, keep watch on the crucifixes and also your igniter. They can blow that out too.

It's funny to me that grian was asking about skibidy toilet, because I just heard this for the first time during my independence day vacation this weekend.
Impulse had extreme streamer brain this stream, forgot he had already ruled out ghosts
Impulse, I really gotta say, as a very frequent vod watcher who’s watched literally every GIGS and JITS stream, I really dislike the new scrolling chat on the screen. Skizz used to have it on his, and I often would click off because I was just so distracted from the actual gameplay. It’s especially apparent when you’re playing a game with such a dark screen.
If it was added to popular demand, oh well I’ll deal with it! But if you’re just trying it out, wanted to stick my opinion in.

@@mysteriouss7 he did! It’s quite a lot smaller than I’ve seen some other streamers have. And the text does fit quite nicely with the aesthetic he has going on for hermitcraft! I really wish the option was there kind of like twitch where you can choose to see chat or not (even though I hate twitch interface, they did get that right!) but that is virtually impossible on vods uploaded to youtube.
@savviathan I'd love it if Twitch allowed streamers to change the color palette of the little names in chat, Impulse could just make them brown and they would blend right it.

My understanding of the Onryo candle thing was that the candles don’t act as crucifixes, but rather, regardless of other hunts happening, the third blow out will result in a hunt
There’s no evidence that a crucifix is necessary for that

The 3 flames to hunt thing is absolutely true, but flames actually do sort of act as a crucifix with an onryo! However, the ghost has to be within 4 meters of the flame to use it as a crucifix, so if the candle is placed directly onto the crucifix, that will normally mean the ghost has to blow it out before using the crucifix. Unfortunately for the GIGS crew, the tier 3 crucifix has a range of 5 meters, so there's a 1 meter radius the ghost can try to initiate a hunt which will activate the crucifix and not blow out the flame. This is worse if Grian didn't place the candle on top of the cruci (not sure I ever saw where he put it). Edit: I see they covered this! But it's not the worst thing to reiterate. It was just unlucky, really.
@@rhys__piece To be fair, Impulse relit a candle in a challenge mode round, and the Onryo still hunted after the third flame went out anyway, so it’s not an exact science

Thank you for putting your vods on youtube! I watch entertainment on my phone that I got in 2018 and it gets super hot and drains battery really fast whenever I’m on twitch so I really appreciate being able to still watch these streams!
Hollow Knight was mentioned at the beginning of the stream, and it got me thinking... I'd love to see Imp and Skizz play Cuphead together. It'd be the perfect mix of challenge and shenanigans, and it's a really good game. It would be hard for them to get all the way through since it'll take a few streams and it's a hard game, but it would be a delight to watch.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who experienced a stupid stinky spirit troll during this week's challenge mode. I had 5 spirits in a row, and they sucked!!!
The photos should work based on how many of the items you have. 3 salts = 3 salt photos, 4 candles = 4 candle photos etc.
Skibidi toilet is basically just a show where all the characters are heads in a toilet or something like that, it’s meant to be ‘scary’ or something, and it’s kinda weird, I don’t personally watch it but I know a lot of young young kids do.

I suggest you guys play insanity with custom difficulty! maybe with the sanity+emf boards on, and a cursed item. they'll make a huge difference figuring out a ghost using their no evidence abilities. like detecting a mare hunting at 60% in the dark and 40% in the light. and the cursed item is fun for trolling and lowering sanity quick! ❤❤
