Why not any likes...? This was the crazy song yo get hyped for the night of ciphers and breaks (at least in Winnipeg) or as you're cruizing by all the slow freaks on the ski hill.
Len was great; they were probably the only mainstream act to release Pop, Rap, and Rock-type songs on the radio. I mean they really did try to cross various genres in their album. Miss 90s bands like them....
The only argument I have to this is the Fun Lovin' Criminals definitely blended those genres during that timeframe. But yes, Len absolutely deserved more success.
Wow, Len was actually an amazing band. You Cant Stop The Bum Rush had all there "videos" but I remember all 3 of them word for word. Maybe it's just a Canadian 1999-2000 thing, but it's hard to believe that these guys were labeled "One Hit Wonders"... but I'm Feeling Alright :)
This and hot rod monster jam were / are my fav tracks on can’t stop the bum rush 24 years later I still love that album… Such an awesome point in my life (jr high / high school) and so many epic memories to go along with it.
U closed the 90's with the last good music after 95' time to come back after about 15 years with a good album to stirr the music industry up ! time for a change !!!!
Thank you Vevo, for letting Canadians finally watch this video, (as it was filmed at Sun Peaks Resort in BC.) and for over a year no one in Canada was able to view this... thanks for fixing it...
i think i saw them filming this when i was boarding. i talked to one of the guys and they said something about it being the only hip hop video on snowboards or something like that. i can't remember if it was big white or sunpeaks.
OMFG!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR UPLOADING THIS "LEN"!!! I thought Smash Mouth Made this Song. I didn't know LEN made this song. I've been searching for this song for years after I heard it in the movie called, "THE ADVENTURES OF ROCKY AND BULLWINKLE" in the year (2001) came out. I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!
I just finished watching "The Get Down" on Netflix. It reminded me of this song, which was done ver much in the get down style. if you like this song you should definitely watch " The Get Down".
Did this song for an in-class lip sync battle in Grade 5. I didn't really listen to music so I had never heard this before, but the only CDs my friend had were this or the Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas. We wrecked house with this song (at least, as much as ten-year-old boys can wreck house).
Love this album, it was next to my " Garbage" the music band, Play both Groups over&over, my favorite song on this had 80's jam to it,the biz was on the album,
... "we are the Len crew" Ah, sounds so weird to hear that. Not the lyrics I repeated when I was 12 and first bought this CD as soon as my local Disc Jockey had it in stock. I'd go around singing this song as if I was part of the Cryptik Souls Crew, having no idea who they were or what they did, but hearing this song now with the lyrics changed makes me feel ... cheated? Yeah, yeah .... "this is a different version, there's 2". I get that now, but younger me bumping this CD all through middle school and junior high only knew one. Up until now.
Anyone know where I can find the lyrics to this version of the song! I'm trying to write down what I hear from the video but I can't make out all the words sometimes.
20+ years later, and I'm still trying to pin down the names of the two lead rappers in this version (which I take it is referred to as the 'UK radio edit' version on other platforms).. who is 'Rockin' Mike' or 'D' (best I can tell from the lyrics)... ?
@@bkgibson666 Derek MacKenzie released an album a couple of years ago with producer Recordface as the group 5.1.nine.0.2. It's called When a Name is Just a Number. You should check it out. :)

@@sophiemiller7004 Planet Pea's real name is Philip Rae. I think they weren't just brought in for the tour, but also for the album. They both contributed to the album, and Druncnes was also featured on the album artwork. Same with Moves and D-Rock. Hmmm, just occurred to me that Planet Pea isn't on the cover but Buck 65 is. Weird.
true, however if you knew what Steal My Sunshine (emphasis on the Sunshine part) was about, you might think otherwise. But maybe you do know what its about lol
Len deserved way more success, they are such a fun band, they spread joy!
Not sure joy equates to success but its a nice sentiment
Why not any likes...?
This was the crazy song yo get hyped for the night of ciphers and breaks (at least in Winnipeg) or as you're cruizing by all the slow freaks on the ski hill.
Whole album was great.... eclectic too.....
I'll never forget Len!
I don't know why people think that Len only had one good song...
Guilty. I thought they only had the sunshine song but this is dope.
That's actually exactly how I feel.
He did, this song sucks.
Well it's probabaly because they only had two good songs
I figured this out like a week ago. The album is dope!

Until The Black Eyed Peas though. Especially with Fergie tbh.

This is a different version than the album - different lyrics too
I knew something was off.
I was gonna say it’s missing all the guest MCs, Moka Only, Abdominal, D-Sisive

Always liked this group, and how they have so much fun doing what they love.
And to think all I knew them for was steal my sunshine.

2019 i will never let this music die
If I noticed that guy with the Arsenal shirt on in the video in 1999. I probably wouldn't have bought this. Grew up in a spurs family.

This track just showed up in my Spotify mix and I never knew they were this funky. Holy shit.

Good video and a even better tune!.
this band is over 20 years old...applaud!!! Class tune!!
Nearly 30 now
CLAAAAASSIC!!!!!!!!
I was in 5th Grade when this dropped.
The background song you are hearing is from a 1970's tune.....Dynomite from Bazuka.
most of the melody and lyics are "bites" too late 70s, 80s rap, still a killer track.
Great song I just found it.
nice worrrrrrk...good job guys i really liked it
great beat
I love Len.
Happy New Year, nice song :)
Soooo.... just played an ole tune called Steal My Sunshine.
Good song!
Then this?
Now I see what happened to Len!
Thankfully, the REAL version is on UA-cam still.

Play both Groups over&over, my favorite song on this had 80's jam to it,the biz was on the album,

Dope AF
The beat is the same, but the lyrics are completely different than the song that's on my album.
Nicholas Johnson There's two versions of the song. One is the single shown here (The Len Crew Mix) and the album version.
Not sure which version I like more but like the OP, I'm definitely much more used to the album version.

Len is da SHIT! One of the best bands ever! Sharon....I love you!
Dude I have to disagree they are a crappy shitty one-hit-wonder band in 1990s they are nothing special but I like them much better then chum ;)
Damn, looking back now there were some legit rhymes. Heavy Jurassic 5 vibes.
i came here for the rock rock to the beats yo!
wheres Sharon Costanzo in this video?
these guys are the shit old skoool!
2:34 that guy is wearing an Arsenal SEGA sponsored away kit. ALL THE WAY TO CANADA BRUH
Man.... I don't remember the song being THIS nineties...
Gee, don't you think it's kind of seventies too...as it samples 1975's Bazuka's "Dynomite"?
new shit got nothing on these guys. they rock!
is this redone? because i have the old version and its totally different.... nether less still great!
snow job 98 seemed fun
